What About The 'Past' Generations? Satan's Limitations, How We're In "Hell"
Transcript:
(0:00) Alhamdulillah, we praise God. (0:03) Wa ash'hadu an la ilaha illa Allah wa ahdahu la sharika lah. (0:07) And we bear witness that there is no god except the one God. (0:15) As you know I have been working on the main, a new translation now, down to the serious (0:23) business of preparing the pages for the printer. (0:27) So these seem to be the final developments, and there is a lot of information that is (0:33) developing right now, there is a lot to be learned, but I want to share with you the (0:40) developments as they are happening. (0:44) One of the main questions that people always ask since the time of Moses, what about all (0:49) those people in the past, they had the wrong information? (0:53) Remember that question Pharaoh asked Moses, what about all those people of the past generations? (1:00) And Moses said, their knowledge is with my lord, my lord is never wrong. (1:08) So this question keeps coming up, what about all those millions of people in the past? (1:13) So I want to just do some statistics with you, if we divide the population of the world, (1:21) we just draw a bar like this, and divide it into 15 sections. (1:43) These are 15 sections, from the time of Adam, from the beginning, the first man until now, (1:51) we occupy this section here. (1:55) These are the people who lived on earth from the time of Adam until now, about 6 billion people. (2:05) And from now, from 1989, happy new year, to the end of the world, 2280, there will be (2:18) this many people, 75 billion. (2:25) So as you see, we are still at the beginning of humanity, and the vast majority of human (2:35) beings will receive the message, the complete message, all put together. (2:42) So God is not neglecting all those people in the past, because they represent a very (2:48) small minority as you can see graphically. (2:51) This is simple statistics. (2:57) The other thing that I wish to share with you is the... (3:07) We talked about the three categories of creatures, how God's creatures became classified as a (3:15) result of the heavenly dispute, the dispute in the high society of surah 38, verse 69. (3:24) Satan thought he can be a god, due to his ignorance of the fact that only God possesses (3:30) the power, and that it is not egotistic on God's part or anything like that, God be glorified. (3:39) It is simply a fact that God alone can control every atom in the universes, while no other (3:49) creature can do that. (3:51) And we have seen examples how Satan cannot even see big things in this world. (3:58) I have shared this with you before. (4:01) So because of Satan's ignorance and arrogance, he thought that he can rule as a god somewhere, (4:07) and God gave him this tiny moat called the planet Earth to rule. (4:13) Now going back to the classification of the creatures, there is a category at the University (4:21) of Arizona called non-classified student. (4:24) This is a student that goes in and he is neither, or she is neither, undergraduate or graduate, (4:30) it is a non-classified student. (4:32) Classification happened as a result of this dispute. (4:36) Number one, the first group was the angels, and those are the intelligent creatures, those (4:41) are the ones who knew, or believed, or decided with their own free will, that God alone possesses (4:48) all power to control every atom in the universe. (4:51) They never had a doubt or a question, so they became classified as angels. (4:59) The second group of people actually believed that Satan can be, can act as a god, he possesses (5:07) enough qualifications and power to be a god. (5:09) Those are the Satan and his tribe, the jinns, those became jinns. (5:16) This is why your jinn is always telling you that Muhammad also has some power, that Jesus (5:21) has some power, that Sal, Jude has some power, that Ali has some power, your jinn is telling (5:29) you that all the time, because your jinn represents Satan, Satan's point of view. (5:33) The jinns made up their minds that Satan can be a god. (5:37) The third category of people, you and me, didn't make up our minds, we were wishy-washy. (5:44) That is why God does not accept wishy-washies now. (5:47) If you show any sign of idol worship, and Satan claims you, God will give you to Satan. (5:54) If Satan points at you and says this person idolizes something, for the slightest reason, (6:03) God will tell him, take him or her, this is yours. (6:08) So that is why we have to run away as far as possible from any hint of idol worship. (6:14) Anyway, so the third category of people, of creatures, became humans, those are the ones (6:21) who didn't make up their minds. (6:23) They said, yeah, maybe Satan can do it. (6:27) In other words, they were not sold on God's absolute authority. (6:32) They were not firm, they didn't say only God possesses all power. (6:39) And this is why we are here, to help us make up our minds. (6:42) But basically, this is a horrendous crime, not to appreciate God's absolute authority. (6:51) And this is why we are here. (6:59) Okay, so God decided to give us this chance, to help us make up our minds, and to help (7:07) us to be redeemed. (7:11) The angels, who are completely sold on God's absolute authority, said, send them all to (7:18) hell, don't give them another chance. (7:22) But God, the most merciful, decided to give us that chance. (7:26) We talked about this, but as you see, you and I are developing this understanding together, (7:32) and there is a lot more to be learned, insha'Allah. (7:35) This verse here is 2-55 of surah 2, it says God releases His knowledge in accordance (7:41) with His will. (7:43) So this knowledge is coming to us in accordance with God's will, bit by bit. (7:50) Now this brings us to the question of sending them to hell. (7:55) And it seems from studying surah 19, verses 71 and 72, that this is hell. (8:02) By definition, this is hell. (8:05) Let me qualify this, this is a temporary hell. (8:11) The hell that will start on the day of resurrection is a lot worse, and this is what I am going (8:15) to discuss with you now. (8:18) If you read 19, 71, 72, it says every single one of you is going there, will go to hell. (8:26) Then we save the righteous. (8:28) In verse 72, God says then we save the righteous and leave the transgressors there. (8:37) So this is a halfway house, between heaven and hell. (8:46) You may call this a purgatory if you wish, in that term. (8:52) Verses 19, 71, and 72, they say every single one of you is going there. (8:58) Now what is the definition of hell? (9:00) The definition of hell is simply the absence of God. (9:05) If God is not here, this is hell. (9:08) And God teaches us in the Quran that He is not here, physically. (9:14) Moses wanted to see God, but God said, you cannot see me, look at the mountain, if it (9:19) stays in place you will see me. (9:21) And then God manifested Himself to the mountain, and the mountain crumbled. (9:26) This earth cannot stand the presence of God, therefore God, even though He controls every (9:33) single atom in the universe, He is not here physically. (9:36) He does not need to be here to control every atom. (9:39) So the absence of God means hell. (9:43) This is hell. (9:49) In verse 21, surah 21, verse 101, we see that the righteous will be taken away from hell. (10:01) So all these problems, and the airplane crashes, and the earthquakes, and the headaches, and (10:08) the problems, is because this is hell. (10:11) And it is hell because Satan is running it, in accordance with God's will. (10:17) However, this is a mild hell, because God did not completely throw us into hell. (10:27) Like I said, it is a halfway house. (10:29) For example, God provides. (10:32) In the real hell, God will not provide. (10:34) And we see this in verse, what I wrote down here, in surah 7, verse 32. (10:42) God says the provisions are only for the righteous, on the day of resurrection, in the hereafter. (10:49) Exclusively. (10:50) And you recall in surah 2, verse 126, when Abraham said, please God, provide for those (10:56) who believe in God on the last day, and God said, and also for the disbelievers. (11:00) Because God wants to give them a chance to redeem themselves. (11:06) So God interferes, God is the only provider in this world, that is not Satan's job. (11:12) Satan's only job here is to take care of his constituents, other than provisions, and to (11:21) run his kingdom with those constituents. (11:24) But God does interfere to provide for the believer and the disbeliever. (11:28) This is not so in the hereafter. (11:31) In the real hell, or the eternal hell of the hereafter, Satan will be in hell, and there (11:42) will be no provisions for anybody in hell. (11:51) So these are some of the thoughts that I wanted to share with you. (11:56) So let us repent and redeem ourselves. (11:58) God redeems us on request, to go to Allah. (12:17) Alhamdulillah, we praise God, and we bear witness that there is no God except the one God. (12:28) You can see in front of you. (12:47) What was I saying, before I got into the room? (12:51) You want to go ahead and start? (12:55) You said you can see, and when you can see then you saw what you saw. (13:02) Yes. (13:04) Okay. (13:11) Okay, this football, I would like to steal some of Abdullah's ideas, I am going to give (13:17) you the details next Friday, insha'Allah. (13:20) But I think he discovered the ultimate miracle in the Quran. (13:25) And I have not looked at it yet, but this is what I understand from what they told me. (13:30) I was not available when he came, but I don't even need the board. (13:38) When Abdullah... what he did, he took all the numbers in the Quran, we have surah number (13:44) 1, 7 verses, surah number 2, 286 verses. (13:53) Jal e-nishat only? (13:55) Oh, not the whole, okay. (13:56) Jal e-nishat includes surah 9. (14:00) So surah 1, and then surah 4, 5, 6, and then you skip the initial surahs. (14:06) What he did was, he put all the numbers you see in the surah 9 as an initial surah, as (14:11) you know. (14:13) So if you take surah number 1, and you put verse number 1, verse number 2, verse number (14:20) 3, 4, and so on, to verse 7, and you do the same thing with all the surahs in the Quran, (14:27) put the numbers next to each other. (14:29) Of course when you come to surah 9, you go only to verse 127, not 129. (14:35) This will give you a number that is, I think, about 3 miles long. (14:40) And it is a multiple of 19. (14:43) If you add the false verses 128 and 129, it is not a multiple of 19. (14:51) As you know, this is a principle that has been laid down before. (14:54) The morning prayer is two verses, the noon prayer is four rak'ahs or four units, the (15:02) afternoon prayer is four, the sunset is three, and the night is four. (15:07) This number here is a multiple of 19. (15:13) So this is putting the numbers next to each other, and this tells us that these are the (15:17) correct prayers, correct numbers of rak'ahs. (15:22) The morning is two rak'ahs, two units, and this is universal in the whole world. (15:26) This is why the sunset is three, and not four. (15:30) If it was four, or five, or two, you would not have a multiple of 19. (15:34) So Abdullah will give you the details next week, but this is a preview of it. (15:42) And I want to share with you what the Bible says about the messenger of the covenant. (15:48) Now, with this fact here, that from the beginning of the world until now, this is the amount (15:57) of population that we have, and the majority of people are yet to come, it makes sense (16:04) that someone should come to put the message together, clean out all the falsehood, the (16:11) junk, the innovations that were added to it, and put the messages of all the prophets in (16:16) one unit. (16:17) And here is what is amazing, that the Bible should speak about the messenger of the covenant. (16:23) And I have been talking to some enlightened Christians about this, and I have got really (16:30) some profound information. (16:34) This is the last book of the Torah, the book of Malachi, in chapter three. (16:40) The messenger of the covenant in the Quran is in surah three also. (16:46) But chapter three says, behold I will send my messenger and he shall prepare the way (16:50) before me. (16:53) And the Lord whom you seek shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of (16:58) the covenant whom you delight in, behold he shall come, says the Lord of hosts. (17:06) But who may abide the day of his coming? (17:09) And who shall stand when he appears? (17:13) For he is like a refiner's fire and like a fuller's soap. (17:18) Then the verses go on talking about cleaning, refining gold, so the believers will come (17:24) out like gold, remove all the dirt and the things, and also he will burn, he will be (17:33) burning the others, and hurting them. (17:37) Even though he is very kind, I am just reading, summarizing the other verses for you. (17:48) And this makes us think, what is it that we do wrong, and the people are so averse to it? (17:56) Why do they pick on Abba Meir and Naghmeir, and why do they go to this mosque and this (18:00) kind of thing? (18:01) What are they doing? (18:02) They are worshipping God alone, they are saying worship God alone, worship the one who creates you. (18:09) Do not idolize powerless humans. (18:12) But it shows you how the human being is basically bad, the human being is basically a criminal. (18:19) And even though we are saying mild things, we are saying the right things, we are saying (18:23) la ilaha illallah, it hurts them. (18:27) Because we purify, let me read another version, you can look it up in any bible, Malachi chapter (18:38) 3, Malachi the last book in the whole testament. (18:45) Malachi is one of the prophets of Israel, the last one. (18:52) The subtitle is the messenger of the covenant, this issue here that says, lo I am sending (18:57) my messenger to prepare the way before me. (19:01) And suddenly they will come to the temple, the lord whom you seek, and the messenger (19:05) of the covenant whom you desire. (19:07) Yes he is coming, says the lord of hosts, but who will endure the day of his coming, (19:12) and who can stand when he appears? (19:15) For he is like the refiner's fire, or like the fuller's lime. (19:19) He will set refining and purifying, and he will purify the sons of Levi, meaning the (19:26) people. (19:28) Refining them like gold, or like silver, that they may offer due sacrifice to the lord. (19:34) And it goes on, this purification process, and it seems like our generation is doing (19:40) this, the purification process. (19:43) Now what do the Christians believe? (19:47) Most Christians believe that the messenger of the covenant is John the baptist, because (19:53) he came immediately after Jesus. (19:54) And it doesn't make sense, because they are coming from the claim that Jesus is God, or (20:01) the lord. (20:03) See listen to what it says at the beginning of the chapter, behold I will send my messenger. (20:09) This is in the old testament before Jesus was born, and they are thinking that this is (20:14) Jesus speaking, you can see the fallacy of it. (20:20) They claim that Jesus is saying, behold I will send my messenger, and they are wrong. (20:25) The messenger of the covenant, God wills that he should be mentioned in the bible and in (20:31) the Quran. (20:33) Fatiha.
