(0:00) Maybe I would like to use this word. They are astray in the sense of they have also deviated. (0:07) I think the word astray can also mean they deviated from the right path when they were there all the time. (0:13) And 16 say so. They have chosen the astraying mistake of guidance. The choice is theirs. (0:21) But some people could have been, could be, could be, from the beginning. (0:24) So they were never on the path. (0:25) They never come to the right path. (0:27) So as Carl and I were talking the other night, they had no path in the beginning. (0:31) They had no direction. (0:34) But the righteous have a direction. (0:36) The astrayers, once upon a time, were given that sense of direction, but they chose to deviate and so on. (0:42) That's all I want to say. I've taken so much of your time. (0:45) I've got something more. (0:46) I want to summarize. I want to summarize what Din Mahur said. (0:50) And then I have a brief statement that I want to confirm. (0:53) So Din Mahur is saying that there are the believers, righteous, and then the disbelievers, and the hypocrites. (1:02) He says that the hypocrites are also disbelievers, which they are. (1:06) So the hypocrites are disbelievers who say that they are believers. (1:09) And I think we will come to this idea by looking at page 65 at the bottom, page 65 at the bottom, at verse 140. (1:22) God has revealed to you in the scripture that if you hear the revelations of God being rejected and ridiculed, (1:29) you shall not sit with them unless they change their hearts. (1:33) Otherwise, you will be as guilty as they are. (1:36) And then the last part says, God will gather the hypocrites together with the disbelievers in hell. (1:45) So both the disbelievers and the hypocrites are... (1:51) Another remark. (1:53) On verse 16, now it's going to show a really strong parallelism. (1:58) Okay, it says, they have chosen the straying instead of guidance, and thus their trade never prospers, nor are they ever guided. (2:05) And if we go to Surah 22, verse 11-12, that's on page 226. (2:11) 12, page 226. (2:17) And there is the one... (2:18) What's the verse number? (2:19) 11 and 12. (2:22) And there is the one who worships God conditionally. (2:25) If something good happens to him, he is content. (2:28) But when a tribulation afflicts him, he reverts. (2:31) Thus he loses both in this life and the hereafter. (2:34) This is the real loss. (2:35) He idolizes besides God what neither harms nor benefits him. (2:40) This is the farthest stray. (2:43) To me, that's an expansion on that verse. (2:47) Very strong as well. (2:52) It's because it's conditional worshiping. (2:55) That's where they were on the path, and then they left it with the strayer. (2:59) It just shows desperately that he really doesn't believe. (3:02) Yeah. (3:05) And it also says here that their trade never prospers in 16. (3:10) Well, it says here they lose both in this life and the hereafter. (3:14) Yes. (4:02) He's talking in Hebrew. (4:02) And we have the number 17. (4:05) Now, the number 17 is the number of Bani Israel. (4:11) So, the idea of 17 and 19 together (4:16) would be very consistent with the idea of having Arabic words and Hebrew words together. (4:23) Now, from the other point, on page 361, (4:32) yes, the Iranians interpreted it, the Baha'is interpreted it. (4:40) But 19 months... (4:42) 361? (4:43) Yeah, 19 months of 19 days, that's the Baha'i calendar. (4:49) So, it shows people who say that they believe, (4:54) but the faith has not anchored their hearts. (4:58) So, I think that in all of the chapter 3 on Hippocrates, you know, in Surah 2, (5:05) there's a long description of people. (5:07) So, apparently, the Quran has more concern with the Hippocrates than with everybody else. (5:14) So, that shows the degree of Bani Hippocrates is very important. (5:18) It's a critical position, and the spirit of the Quran is to give the remedy to the religion. (5:25) This is also very easy to perceive, (5:27) because you can imagine a person coming to you and saying, (5:30) I am a disbeliever, I don't believe in this. (5:32) And a person coming to you and saying, (5:34) I'm a believer, I believe in you, I believe 100%, (5:37) when that person really is not a believer. (5:40) So, you can see the deceit and the danger of the Hippocrates. (5:46) I would just say, in terms of the self-remedy, (5:49) so you get an error, (5:51) so we get a lengthy analysis of the error, (5:54) in order to have all the possible error recovery devices. (6:00) You know, an engineer who designs a servomechanism, (6:03) first must have a sensor to find out the error, (6:07) and then a correction device. (6:09) So, I think the Quran is a servomechanism for the religion. (6:13) Let's go on to verse 20, (6:16) that also deals with Hippocrates. (6:20) The light of faith. (6:23) Verse 20 says, (6:24) The lightning is so bright, it almost blinds them. (6:27) Whenever it lights for them, they move forward. (6:30) And when it turns dark, they stand still. (6:33) If God would, He could have taken away their hearing and their eyesight. (6:38) God is omnipotent. (6:39) And we have a footnote here, (6:41) that says, (6:42) He does not imply gender in the Arabic language. (6:46) God Almighty is neither male nor female. (6:49) This is why Arabic was chosen for the finest scripture. (6:54) Okay, this has to do with the word, he. (6:58) But the allegory of the lightning is that (7:02) the Hippocrates actually sits with the believers, (7:06) and they claim to be believers, (7:08) so they are getting the light of the Quran. (7:12) And whenever they follow that light, they move forward. (7:15) But when they ignore it, they are in total darkness, they cannot move. (7:18) They stand still. (7:21) Then we go to verse 21, (7:22) O people, you shall worship your Lord who created you and those before you, (7:28) that you may attain salvation. (7:30) He is the one who made the earth habitable for you. (7:33) He is the one who constructed the sky. (7:36) He sends down water from the sky to produce fruit for your sustenance. (7:42) Therefore you shall not set up idols besides God, despite this knowledge. (7:47) If you have any doubts concerning this revelation to our servant, (7:51) then produce one surah like this, (7:53) and ask your idols whom you set up beside God to do the same, if you ask truthfully. (8:00) And the challenge here to produce a surah (8:02) is not simply a literary challenge. (8:07) Because there were people who wrote pieces of literature that are excellent, (8:11) Shakespeare, and even some Arabic literature giants who claim that they can write better than the Quran. (8:23) Literature-wise. (8:26) And I agree with them. (8:28) They actually did magnificent writing. (8:31) But the challenge here has to do with the mathematical structure of the Quran, (8:34) not just the literature. (8:36) And that will really nullify their claims. (8:39) I mean, what can you say to a person who says, (8:42) I can write better than the Quran? (8:44) And that's his opinion, and he will find a lot of people who will agree with him. (8:50) But the mathematical structure cannot be duplicated. (8:59) Joseph had 11 brothers, and he saw in his dream 11 stars. (9:03) This is a significant number. (9:05) Then we come to some very important teachings in the Quran. (9:12) Starting at verse 24, (9:14) where heaven and hell are allegorically described. (9:19) Now, they are allegorically described because we can't not... (9:27) Is somebody preaching over there? (9:30) You can have a look. (9:35) Heaven and hell are allegorically described because we cannot imagine the beauty of heaven or the severity of hell. (9:44) There is absolutely no way you can imagine heaven or hell. (9:51) That's why in surah 32 we are told that you have no idea how much joy and happiness are waiting for you in heaven. (10:01) Nobody among the believers have any idea how much joy and happiness are in heaven. (10:09) It's just indescribable. (10:11) So God describes them in terms that we can understand here. (10:14) That's gardens, fruits, food, the things that we enjoy in this life. (10:23) And then the fire. (10:25) So verse 24 says that if you fail to do this, and most certainly you will fail. (10:32) That is to duplicate the Quran's mathematical structure and writings. (10:37) If you fail to do this, and most certainly you will fail, (10:41) then beware of the hellfire which fuels its people and wrath. (10:45) It awaits the disbelievers. (10:48) And give good news to those who believe and want righteousness, that they have deserved gardens with flowing streams. (10:55) This is the first description of heaven and hell. (10:59) When given a fruit therein, they will say, this is what was given to us before. (11:04) They will be given at the same time. (11:06) They will have pure spouses therein, and abide therein forever. (11:11) Thus God does not shy away from any kind of animal. (11:16) From down to a mosquito and high. (11:19) So you can, this will give you an idea that the description of heaven in Quran compared to the real heaven, (11:26) is like the mosquito compared to you. (11:30) Size-wise, complexity-wise, and of course goal-wise. (11:36) You don't go around stinging people. (11:37) There are some people who do sting. (11:45) Those who believe, know that it is the truth of the Lord. (11:49) While the disbelievers would say, what does God mean by such an allegory? (11:53) He misleads many thereby, and guides many thereby. (11:57) But He never misleads except the wicked. (12:02) And this verse started a whole bunch of discussions that went on for centuries, literally. (12:08) Does God mislead? (12:11) This question has been discussed over many centuries. (12:15) And the answer is yes. (12:17) But you see the end of the verse here says, but He never misleads except the wicked. (12:22) So the person is already wicked. (12:24) The person already made the decision that he doesn't want to have anything to do with God. (12:28) So God says, okay, I'm going to help you. (12:30) You don't have anything to do with me, I'm going to mislead you. (12:33) And God misleads that person. (12:36) All the circumstances work out against the guidance of a person who doesn't want to have anything to do with God. (12:44) So the decision has to be made first. (12:49) Either you make a decision, you want to believe in God, (12:53) or the person makes a decision that he or she doesn't want to have anything to do with God. (12:58) Then based on this, God actually guides or misleads. (13:02) If you decide that you want to believe in God, (13:06) then all the circumstances around you will work out to guide you. (13:14) Everything will direct you in that direction. (13:16) God takes over after that. (13:18) All you need is to make a decision. (13:22) That's why sometimes people want a solution to their health problems, (13:28) or financial problems, or any kind of problem. (13:33) And there's always one solution. (13:35) One. Only one solution. (13:37) That's to go to God. (13:40) To be with God. (13:41) That's one solution. (13:43) That will solve all the problems. (13:45) Any kind of problem you can think of. (13:51) There was a whole bunch of problems now that I don't think of. (13:55) But I kept saying there's only one solution. (13:57) I want to believe in God. (14:00) It's true. (14:06) Any kind of problem, whether it is health, or finance, or marital, or social, (14:14) all you need is to make one decision. (14:16) That will solve all the problems. (14:20) But you have to have that confidence. (14:24) You cannot do it with hesitation. (14:27) Where would the money come from? (14:30) If I believe in God and just put all my trust in Him, (14:33) where would the money come from? (14:34) God says it will come once you never expect. (14:39) And if you expect it, the rest will not be correct. (14:43) But it will come. (14:45) Your problems will be over. (14:47) Over. (14:47) Yes. (14:50) And misleading them. (14:54) There are decisions which don't amount to much. (15:00) People who are not mature, who are not of age, (15:04) if they make the wrong decision, they will not be penalized. (15:08) Children? (15:10) Yes. (15:11) They are not supposed to make the decision here. (15:13) But they would make it. (15:15) They would make it when they grow up, yes. (15:17) So there are people who are not capable of decision, (15:20) so they think they make a decision, and they can... (15:23) God knows that. (15:24) There is a person who is mentally retarded, or something, (15:26) and they are incapable of making decisions. (15:28) That person goes straight to heaven. (15:30) There is a big match. (15:33) That's a lucky person. (15:35) Reagan will go to heaven. (15:37) What? (15:38) Who? (15:39) Reagan. (15:41) Reagan? (15:41) Reagan. (15:42) Reagan. (15:44) What if he believes in God? (15:54) Are we at 27? (15:57) The definition of the wicked. (15:59) The wicked that are misled by God. (16:02) The wicked who violate God's covenant after pledging to keep it, (16:07) disregard what God has ordered of him, and corrupt the earth. (16:12) These are the losers. (16:14) Then we come to a very important verse. (16:18) Two deaths and two lives. (16:22) How could you disbelieve in God when you were dead, (16:26) and He gave you life? (16:29) Then He will put you to death, then bring you back to life. (16:33) To Him is your ultimate return. (16:35) Now do you see the two deaths and two lives? (16:38) Do you know what death feels like? (16:43) Do you know what death feels like? (16:46) Sleeping. (16:47) That's right. (16:47) We tried it before. (16:49) We were dead. (16:50) Remember the three million years before death? (16:53) You were dead for three million years. (16:56) Or more. (17:00) And that's exactly how death would feel like. (17:04) So if there were three million years to the day of resurrection, (17:10) that's how long it would feel to you. (17:11) I mean, exactly the way it felt to you in your first death. (17:17) So you can think of all the human beings as the total human population, (17:26) past, present, and future. (17:29) They exist in one of three stages. (17:32) You are dead before birth, then life, (17:35) Mars, (17:43) and then the other stages being alive from birth to death, (17:48) and then the second death. (17:53) And when the last good people die, then comes the resurrection. (17:57) You can see the two deaths and two lives. (18:00) We were dead, now we're alive, we're going to die, (18:02) and then we get up again for the eternal life. (18:06) Real life. (18:07) And this is repeated in Quran. (18:11) But death, of course, is a big mystery to most people. (18:16) But not to Muslims. (18:17) Muslims know exactly what death feels like. (18:22) Most people who don't read the Quran, (18:24) they don't realize that before birth they were dead. (18:30) Are you asking a question? (18:31) All right. (18:36) Okay. (18:37) When you come and vacuum this mosque, (18:40) I will give you a $5 gift card. (18:44) That's an offer. (18:48) Yes, sir. (18:50) I just want to make a very simple reflection on the divine trust magic. (18:59) What I will say is not to most of you. (19:02) Anyhow, a little reminder is not so bad. (19:05) It's very interesting to see 27 stops on a kind of subject, (19:11) and 28 is a new one. (19:13) Although related, naturally. (19:15) On the fifth verse of Surah 2, (19:19) Allah says that the righteous, those who follow the guidance, (19:24) they are the winners. (19:27) Now, in Arabic, (19:31) Now, don't forget this. (19:36) This is for you, huh? (19:39) Muslimhood, the verb is (19:42) F, three letters. (19:44) F, L, A. (19:47) F, L, A. (19:49) And Muslim means one, Muslimhood, many. (19:53) Now, at the end of 27, (19:57) the hypocrite and the disbeliever, (20:00) these are the losers. (20:02) See, there's a kind of cross one here, right? (20:06) Now, what I was going to mention is that, (20:08) therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, (20:12) when Wali makes the adhan, (20:17) or Ustad makes the adhan, (20:19) there's a phrase which they say which is very beautiful. (20:23) They say, (20:28) They say, (20:30) F, L, A. (20:33) Come to, come and join the winning team. (20:38) When Wali says, (20:41) come to the winning team. (20:44) And Quran says, (20:45) They are those who observe Salat prayers. (20:49) These are the winners. (20:50) So, the Muazzin is telling us, (20:52) come to pray. (20:55) Ayah of Salat means, (20:56) come to the winning team and success. (20:59) And this is the same word used by the Quran. (21:03) The righteous are the winners. (21:06) The adhan is telling us, (21:07) forget everything now and join the winning team. (21:10) It's a very simple observation, (21:12) but I think it means a lot. (21:13) Even our adhan, (21:15) the call to prayer, (21:17) is really, (21:18) come to join the winning team. (21:21) And that's all I want to say. (21:23) I want the adhan to be more meaningful (21:25) to us in relation to the Quran. (21:28) Well, at this time, (21:30) I'm going to make an announcement. (21:32) And that is, (21:32) we're celebrating the birthdays of three people. (21:37) We're celebrating, (21:38) today is Mayim's birthday. (21:40) Yes. (21:41) And tomorrow is Inga's birthday. (21:45) And Mary's birthday was Mayim's. (21:52) So, we're going to make an announcement. (21:55) To celebrate the birthday, (21:57) we have to see our pictures tonight. (21:59) Inga, you want to see? (22:12) What's left to see? (22:14) Okay, Inga. (22:15) 29. (22:16) Start at 29. (22:21) I hope I'm not taking too much time. (22:23) Because it's my, (22:24) I don't want to let my dad go. (22:26) He must. (22:27) He has to go. (22:30) Don't let him. (22:31) Don't let him. (22:32) Yeah. (22:33) He likes everybody. (22:34) Thank you, thank you. (22:35) He likes the team. (22:37) Thank you, thank you. (22:39) Now, you're 27. (22:42) Those who violate God's covenant (22:46) after pledging to keep it. (22:49) I think this can, (22:51) can mean two things. (22:53) Historically, (22:55) it might mean, (22:56) it might refer to those hypocrites (22:58) who make a pledge, (23:00) a love, (23:01) regarding the coming of the Prophet to Medina and so on. (23:04) But that's historical. (23:05) From the more general aspect, (23:06) it might have a reference to that verse, (23:08) Alaska, you're up to 2. (23:11) Just coming up. (23:12) Oh, that's Surah 7. (23:14) Yeah, Surah 7, (23:16) 100. (23:18) 43. (23:20) Surah 7, 142 or 143. (23:23) 143. (23:28) I'm sorry. (23:30) 133. (23:30) 100? (23:31) 133. (23:32) Yeah, 100. (23:35) Should be 113. (23:37) 113. (23:38) 113? (23:42) You wanna, (23:44) am I not your Lord? (23:46) No, no, that's 143. (23:48) That's 143. (23:51) No, 173. (23:53) That's, (23:53) that's 143. (23:54) Oh, excuse me, Lord. (23:57) You want me to say, (23:59) am I not your Lord? (23:59) 172. (24:01) Is that the verse? (24:01) Yeah, 172. (24:04) 172. (24:07) Yes, (24:08) I think (24:08) I think that (24:14) verse 27 of Surah 2 (24:16) might be related (24:17) to verse (24:20) 172 (24:20) of Surah 7, (24:23) page 116. (24:25) That's the covenant. (24:26) Yeah, this is the original covenant (24:27) when Allah asked (24:29) the descendants of Adam, (24:32) am I not your Lord? (24:34) And mankind says, (24:35) yeah, that is a covenant. (24:37) They admit that Allah (24:39) is the Lord, (24:41) and therefore this means (24:42) a system of relations, (24:45) and certainly obligations (24:46) on the part of mankind towards Allah, (24:48) but Allah promises revelation. (24:51) And yeah, (24:52) back to Surah Baqarah, (24:55) these are people (24:56) who have entered into God's covenant. (24:58) All of us have entered (25:00) a covenant with Allah. (25:02) It's part of our (25:03) nature, (25:04) part of our mental, (25:06) biological, physical, (25:08) spiritual makeup (25:09) to accept Allah as a Lord. (25:12) Or an instinct. (25:13) It's a religious instinct (25:15) and inclination on the part of man. (25:19) These are the, (25:20) this is the covenant. (25:22) And those who break the covenant (25:23) go against their very nature. (25:27) They are not very, (25:29) but they go against their instinct, (25:31) against their nature. (25:32) People who don't believe in God (25:34) go against their instinct. (25:36) You can imagine the bird (25:38) who refused to lay on the egg. (25:41) The bird (25:42) lays the egg and then sits on the egg. (25:44) That's instinct. (25:47) And if they refused to (25:48) lay on the egg, (25:50) it would have been extinct, all of them. (25:54) Did you look at verse 172 (25:56) of Surah 7? (25:58) Do you realize now that you made a covenant (26:00) with God, you, (26:02) each one of you made a covenant with God. (26:05) That He is our Lord. (26:07) And those who break this (26:08) covenant, they are the ones who (26:10) they bring trouble to the earth. (26:12) They don't care about (26:13) the day of accountability because (26:15) verse 172 says (26:19) therefore you cannot (26:20) save on the day of resurrection. (26:22) We never knew about this. (26:24) But these people who bring corruption (26:26) are those who feel they don't (26:28) have to account to (26:30) anyone. (26:32) We bring these people. (26:34) They are not different from the birds (26:35) who refused to lay eggs. (26:38) They are the same thing with these birds. (26:39) Before you go to India, (26:42) can I ask the mothers to make sure (26:44) the kids are quiet? (26:51) If your kid is making noise, (26:53) contributing to distractions, (26:55) you can just take him out to the front. (27:05) Rahima, (27:06) can you tell that to our kids? (27:15) As soon as we are quiet, (27:16) we go to our kids in India. (27:20) Celebrating their birthday. (27:41) How far is my chair? (27:45) 29 to (27:47) 39. (27:50) Give us your reflection. (27:58) See how much ESP you have. (28:21) I know what you do not know. (28:21) shall you place therein one who (28:23) has corrupted therein and shed blood (28:25) while we praise your glory and (28:27) hold you sacred? (28:28) He said, I know what you do not know. (28:31) He taught Adam all the names (28:32) and presented them to the angels (28:34) saying, tell me the names. (28:38) They said, glory be to you. (28:40) He said, O Adam, (28:46) tell them their names. (28:48) Did I not tell you that I (28:59) fell prostrate before Adam? (29:01) They fell prostrate and said the (29:03) greece. He refused and (29:05) was arrogant and thus he became a rebel. (29:08) Then he said, (29:10) O Adam, live with your wife in (29:11) paradise and eat generously. (29:13) Therefore you shall please. (29:15) But he never touched his one tree, (29:17) lest he become a sinner. (29:19) But the devil beat them out of it, (29:21) causing their eviction therefrom. (29:23) The patient and susceptible. (29:31) Then Adam received from his lord words (29:33) whereby to redeem him. (29:35) He is redeemed and is merciful. (29:38) He said, go down (29:39) therefrom, all of you, (29:41) and when guidance comes to you from me, (29:43) those who follow my guidance have (29:45) nothing to fear, nor will they believe. (29:48) And for those who disbelieve (29:49) and think that they have deserved hell, (29:52) they abound with evil. (30:30) Heaven, heaven is always interesting (30:32) to me. (30:32) One of the (30:35) summaries, read the (30:37) book now. (30:40) Our immediate universe includes (30:42) a hundred billion galaxies and a billion (30:44) trillion stars and distances (30:46) of millions of light years. (30:48) All this incredible vastness is (30:50) only part of the lowest and smallest (30:52) heaven. Six more larger (30:54) heavens surround our near most small (30:56) heaven, and all seven heavens (30:58) are within God's right hand. (31:00) Yet some people are ignorant enough (31:02) to idolize between minute and (31:04) tallest mortals as pieces from (31:06) hundreds of various things. (31:10) This is our 29th giant. (31:13) Well, we can't (31:14) even judge. (31:15) There are seven heavens. How many of those are there? (31:20) There are seven heavens. How many of those are there? (31:22) There are seven heavens. (31:39) We're studying the Quran now. (31:42) We're believing the Quran, (31:43) studying the Quran. (31:48) Ok, then, (31:51) let's go to where the creation is at. (31:53) Creation then (31:54) in Syriam, I Corinthians (31:55) in I Israel. (31:57) The Lord's time angel (31:59) has said he's the one to create the (32:00) world. (32:05) They seem to be angry or annoyed (32:07) because their world (32:08) they place already praised God, and apparently they don't see why there's need for something else. (32:15) Sounds like they're Illinois, however, he's saying he's placing them on earth. (32:18) I don't know if that means they can go to earth, too, and be with God, or what. (32:22) How do they know that man is going to be bad? (32:28) I'm going to give you something to think about. (32:31) You notice the first sentence, God spoke to Isaac, and blessing that it was unto them forever. (32:37) This is before creation of Adam, right? (32:41) He doesn't go to earth unless he breaks God's law. (32:46) This is before he was created. (32:50) That's why God put them in heaven, in paradise, put Adam and Eve in paradise. (32:57) But before he created them, he said, I'm placing a representative on earth. (33:02) But God knew that they would break his law, and they would deserve to be kicked out of heaven, (33:08) and sent down to earth, and the angels concluded from this, that this creature is going to break God's law. (33:14) So they said, why do you create a creature who will break your laws when we praise him glory all the time? (33:21) So God said, I know what you don't know, which is what? (33:27) Right, pardon? (33:32) Right. (33:37) The importance of creating Adam? (33:38) No, no, he's asking what is the meaning of saying to Allah, we hold two secrets. (33:43) What your secret means, whatever you say, we obey. (33:48) In other words, the angels said, we are doing everything that you expect us to do, we carry out your orders. (33:56) I'm sorry to interrupt. (33:58) Yes, but I'm curious, because, (34:05) if we were dead before we were alive, (34:08) it says just before he created the heavens and the earth, (34:14) and then your Lord said to the angels, I'm placing a representative on earth, (34:19) I guess I would have assumed that the souls had already been created. (34:23) Right. (34:24) Right, correct. (34:27) That's right. (34:29) Okay, now, if you take the whole Qur'an in totality, what Inga is asking is, (34:34) God is telling the angels, please make it a noise there. (34:40) Just keep them apart or something to make them quiet. (34:44) Get butler out next to her own. (34:49) Inga, raise a question. (34:51) Inga is saying, where are the souls of the human beings at that time? (34:58) It was told in surah 18, that God did not let the angels witness our creation, the creation of our souls. (35:08) God created the souls of you and me and everybody, but the angels did not witness that. (35:13) But at the appropriate moment, God told the angels, I'm going to place a creature on earth. (35:19) And they said, in conclusion of this, that this creature will break God's law and will deserve to be kicked out of heaven and sent down to earth. (35:27) So they said, why create a creature who will break your law? (35:32) And God said, I don't know what you don't know. (35:35) What God knew, so this is an expression here, do you remember? (35:41) Let's see which verse is that. (35:48) Yeah, the end of verse 3. (35:52) His answer to the angels was, I know what you do not know. (35:56) And what God knew was, that one of the big angels, (36:03) Who's grunting there? (36:13) What God knew was, that one of the big angels was thinking rebellious ideas. (36:19) And God wanted to expose that to the angels. (36:23) Now the angels did not know that. (36:27) The angels did not know that Satan is rebelling. (36:31) But God knew what the angels did not know. (36:33) And one purpose, the first purpose of creating Adam, was to expose Satan. (36:43) As you'll see later on. (36:46) Let me just say something. (36:49) Inga raised a question, which has been mentioned by many other people. (36:53) What's the question? (36:54) Isn't this a bid on the part of the angels to become the representatives? (36:59) You cannot suggest it? (37:01) No, you mentioned it. (37:02) And then I want to know why they would do that. (37:06) Many people, many persons have interpreted this verse to me. (37:13) That the angels are saying to Allah, why put people who will shed blood? (37:19) As if they were making a bid. (37:21) The angels wanted to be representatives. (37:25) Some people have raised this question. (37:27) And I heard, and it is very curious that Inga suggested that, no? (37:31) What if they were offering it to everyone? (37:33) And if there was a jealousy or something? (37:36) It's a simple question. (37:38) It's a simple question. (37:40) Why create a creature who will break your laws? (37:43) When are we going to do that? (37:45) It's a simple question. (37:46) I don't know how to answer it. (37:48) But isn't this a bid on the part of the angels? (37:51) That they're asking some people to trade? (37:54) They're already lost. (37:56) They're already lost hire. (37:57) It's a very interesting question. (37:59) They do not want to be lower. (38:02) When he said representative on earth, that's a terrible demotion. (38:08) And that is exactly what tipped off the angels as to the nature of the human being. (38:14) Shedding blood, corrupting the earth. (38:19) Not praising God as He should be praised. (38:22) And the evidence is all around us. (38:29) And if you have Adam all the names, then he's a representative of the angels. (38:33) But if you talk about the names of the prophets, then he's a representative of the angels. (38:41) I'm so comfortable with that. (38:43) I don't... (38:44) He's a representative of the angels. (38:46) He's representative of the angels. (38:49) If you talk Adam all the names, then he's a representative of the angels. (38:53) Right. (38:54) Did you watch the funeral of Prince of Grace? (38:58) Well, we did. (39:00) It was here on the TV, right? (39:02) So there's an event going on on the other side of the globe. (39:06) But we're watching live here. (39:09) Everything that's happening over there, we're watching it here. (39:12) And how do you think the angels feel about this invention of the TV? (39:19) Now this is the kind of thing that God taught us. (39:24) When a person is sitting in Washington, D.C. and we're sitting in Tucson watching, that's quite an invention. (39:34) Now, so, this is the kind of knowledge that amazed the angels. (39:39) This was meant by the names. (39:42) In other words, God gave the human being knowledge. (39:47) How do you think the angels feel about a 747 flying a huge city, a city, floating in the air? (39:58) Did you ride a 747? (40:02) Did you ride a 747 plane? (40:06) When you ride it, you look inside and you just wonder how is this steel, this thick bed of steel, (40:13) and aluminum, et cetera, et cetera, and carpets, engines, and so forth, is up floating in the air. (40:19) And when you sit at the, you go to the third end of the bed and look inside, it's a whole, it's like a floating city in the air. (40:28) The human being did that. (40:30) And the angels watching in amazement. (40:35) So this is the, this is the knowledge that God gave to the human being. (40:42) Inventing the TV, the video recorder, the airplane. (40:49) That's what's meant by the names. (40:52) Glad to explain to everyone what you did. (40:55) Right. (40:57) Thank you. (41:00) Question over there? (41:02) Yes. (41:02) What did he make the soul out of? (41:07) That's a question in Surah 17. (41:16) And that you'll find out in the dead resurrection. (41:21) That's the answer. (41:25) The soul is in a different dimension. (41:29) Well, the soul is part of God, by the way. (41:32) Yeah. (41:34) There's a small part of God. (41:41) That's why when you do a thing, it would have to do with God's own soul. (41:45) What does that look like? (41:46) What's been made of? (41:47) You'll find out in the dead resurrection. (41:50) Now that's not connected to religion today. (41:52) Okay, go ahead. (41:55) Pretty straightforward. (41:58) I think when the answer to 30 is revealed to the angels, when Satan refuses to. (42:05) Okay, so that was the first purpose of creating the human being, is to expose Adam. (42:11) Because God made us out of clay. (42:14) Naughty material. (42:17) And Satan was very, very arrogant and rebellious. (42:21) So God told the angels, this is what God knew. (42:24) But the answer did not matter. (42:26) All right. (42:28) That was 35. (42:30) Samira has a question. (42:32) When Satan was passed out, was there any other angels who passed with him? (42:39) Or was he just passed by himself? (42:41) He didn't have a family. (42:46) He was kind of green with him at the time. (42:51) What does the Bible say to that? (42:53) I think the Bible mentions other angels who went with him. (42:57) Pardon? (43:11) Are you going to answer the question? (43:13) No, no. (43:14) Let's let him answer the question. (43:15) What's the question again? (43:16) The question is, was Satan cast alone or did he have angels with him? (43:21) Lower angels. (43:22) In the Bible, (43:26) not in the Torah, not in the center two, (43:28) but in other parts of the Bible, (43:29) a big group joined him. (43:34) It doesn't matter though. (43:36) I was wondering, (43:38) when you said that Jesus didn't exist, (43:40) Satan, (43:42) I was wondering, (43:44) We were not with Adam (43:47) at the time either. (43:49) We didn't exist. (43:51) We are descendants of Adam. (43:54) But we didn't exist then. (43:55) I mean our bodies. (43:59) Yeah. (44:01) Descendants means they came from him. (44:05) That was the sentence. (44:08) But I can't think of any place in the Koran (44:11) where it mentions any other angels. (44:13) He was just cast out by himself. (44:19) I'm supposed to think about whether (44:22) Satan was a bearer of fire. (44:33) The angels were made out of fire, (44:34) not made out of man. (44:38) No, we can write music. (44:40) The definition of jinn, (44:42) the definition of jinn (44:43) is a fallen angel. (44:46) So the angel, (44:47) when the angel falls, it becomes a jinn. (44:51) Satan became a jinn. (44:53) He was an angel. (44:58) One of the old, (45:03) one of the old sheikhs (45:05) decided that Satan was not (45:09) was not an angel. (45:10) I think it's a lack of knowledge of the Arabic language. (45:13) Because this happens all day (45:15) in Persia and Pakistan (45:17) where they refuse to believe (45:19) that Satan was an angel. (45:21) But if you look, do you have that topic that you had there? (45:23) If you look at verse 34, (45:27) it says, (45:27) Then we said to the angels, (45:32) both prospered before Adam. (45:35) So if Satan (45:37) were not an angel, (45:39) he was not required to prosper. (45:41) He never broke God's law. (45:44) Because God told the angels (45:45) to prosper. (45:48) Right? (45:49) There's absolutely no question that Satan (45:51) was an angel. (45:59) It's a hadith. (46:04) The Quran doesn't say (46:05) they are made of light. (46:11) It doesn't say. (46:15) It says the jinn are made of light. (46:17) So since (46:18) the jinn was an angel initially, (46:21) then I suppose the angels (46:22) are made of light. (46:24) They are the same material. (46:33) But there's no difference (46:35) between fire and light. (46:36) Anyway, the angels (46:38) are made of light. It's a hadith. (46:52) When we said to the angels, bow down to Adam, (46:59) they bowed down, except (47:01) he pleased Satan. (47:02) He said, shall I bow down to the one (47:05) who created from clay? (47:07) So what I understand from this is that (47:09) Adam was not created in our form. (47:12) In his body form there. (47:14) So they could see the clay (47:16) forming in his body. (47:18) But later on it says that when he ate (47:20) from the tree, his body became visible. (47:23) To him. (47:24) To himself. (47:26) Do you see your soul? (47:30) No. (47:30) The soul is eroge. This is not eroge. (47:34) But you are now in the dimension (47:35) where the body is visible to you. (47:38) You are not in the dimension of eroge. (47:40) The soul. (47:41) That's why you don't see it. (47:43) So before he ate from the tree, he was in the dimension of the soul. (47:47) Where the body is invisible. (47:49) To them. (47:51) And as soon as they broke (47:52) God's law, they went down to the dimension (47:54) of the soul.
