15) Quran Study: Surah 51, 54:23, 55, 56
Study From Behrouz 515, Sura 54:23 By Rashad, Sura 55 & Sura 56 & Sura 51, Age 40 & First Generation
Speaker 1 (0:00) 23. (0:03) Thamud, another group of disbelievers, rejected the warnings. (0:08) They said, shall we follow a man like us? (0:11) We will then be wrong and stupid. (0:15) 25. (0:17) Was he chosen out of all of us to receive the message? (0:22) He is a flagrant liar. (0:24) 26. (0:25) They will find out tomorrow who the flagrant liar is. (0:29) 27. (0:30) We sent the camel as a test for them. (0:33) Just watch them and be patient. (0:36) 28. (0:37) Tell them, this was directed to their messenger, Salah. (0:42) 28. (0:42) Tell them that the water shall be shared between them at specific times. (0:48) 29. (0:49) They consulted their leader, and after receiving the message, he slaughtered the camel. (0:55) 30. (0:56) How terrible was my retribution and warnings! (0:58) 31. (0:59) We sent upon them one stripe, whereupon they became like harvested hay. (1:05) We have made the Quran easy to remember. (1:07) Is there anyone who wishes to learn? (1:10) As you know, God's signs suited every age. (1:16) In that age, a camel that knew when to eat and when to drink and what day, was a miracle for those people. (1:23) They were dealing with camels a lot. (1:26) At the time of Moses, magic was a big deal. (1:29) At the time of Jesus, healing the sick was a big deal. (1:35) At the time of Muhammad, the literary excellence was a big deal. (1:39) They had literary competitions. (1:43) Now, the computer is a big deal. (1:45) And now we have a computer miracle. (1:48) Computer miracle that is suitable for the computer age. (1:56) How can you divide the number that Abdullah did? (2:01) When you take the number of verses and put the number of each verse in every surah in the Quran, you end up with a half mile long number. (2:14) 12,692 digits. (2:19) This number of digits is a multiple of the comma denominator of the Quran, the number 19. (2:25) And also that number is a multiple of 19. (2:30) When the Quran was revealed, the biggest number they heard of was 1,000. (2:34) That was the biggest number. (2:35) Well, 50,000. (2:36) But then multiples of 1,000, anyway. (2:40) So how can you read this number? (2:43) 12,692 digits. (2:47) If you go to the mathematics department at the university, tell them, read this number, get out of here. (2:54) But it's true. (2:57) The number is here. (2:58) It conforms to the code. (3:02) So this is the computer age. (3:06) You have to have a computer to know about this number. (3:10) I can bring you the computer printout that Abdullah wrote in. (3:14) This big. (3:16) Papers. (3:18) Just solving this one problem. (3:19) About this one number. (3:22) Dividing it into 19. (3:26) And it is divisible. (3:33) So during the time of Samud, the camel was the sign. (3:40) During the time of Moses, he threw down the staff and became a serpent. (3:43) And swallowed the other snakes of the magicians. (3:49) This is what they believed. (3:50) Because they realized, this is no magician. (3:52) They are the experts. (4:02) Before we go to the people of Lot, are there any questions? (4:07) Number 33. (4:09) The people of Lot rejected the warnings. (4:12) We showered them with rocks. (4:15) Except Lot's family. (4:17) We saved them at dawn. (4:18) That was a blessing from us. (4:22) We thus reward the appreciative. (4:26) We had warned them of our strike, but they doubted the warnings. (4:31) They negotiated with him about his guests. (4:36) We had blinded their eyes. (4:39) They have deserved my retribution and warnings. (4:42) On the following morning, they were hit by devastating retribution. (4:47) They have incurred my retribution and warnings. (4:52) We have made the Quran easy to remember. (4:54) Is there anyone who wishes to learn? (4:59) So as you see consistently, the warnings, enough warnings, followed by the retribution. (5:05) So in other words, God is telling the people, you are neglecting your souls. (5:08) You are neglecting yourselves. (5:10) You are going to incur retribution. (5:18) The people of Lot were wicked homosexuals. (5:25) You are not doing the homosexuals any favor by giving them their quote-unquote rights. (5:33) You have to talk them out of it somehow. (5:38) For the last 10 years, they have been demanding their rights until they got AIDS. (5:45) Because now you can't just take San Francisco and turn it upside down like Sodom and Gomorrah. (5:50) There are many good people in San Francisco. (5:53) But this AIDS hits selectively the homosexuals. (6:17) Well, if you are doing everything right, why should you be warned? (6:31) I like incurred better than deserved. (6:34) Then I have to look it up. (6:40) They have deserved my retribution. (6:56) If you are doing everything right, you don't deserve a warning. (7:02) As a matter of fact, wherever you are working, you get a warning only before you get disciplinary action. (7:10) But if you are doing everything perfect, you don't get a warning. (7:12) Do you? (7:14) Warning, you are doing everything perfect. (7:15) In the new translation, I am using the word incurred in place of deserved. (7:35) Because we learn that people incur whatever happens to them. (7:40) Remember the law in the Quran that nothing happens to you except as a consequence of your own actions? (7:47) It happens. (7:55) Did you ever get a warning before you work? (7:59) Something gone. (8:09) It's okay. (8:09) I don't care about linguistics as long as... (8:18) Warning, you are going to be demoted next month. (8:22) That's negative. (8:25) It's short, but it's full of lessons. (8:53) The Arabs have been warned. (8:54) I can tell you right now, we are going to witness a terrible, terrible disaster coming up to the Arabs. (9:03) Today in the mail, I just got a newspaper where they had the headlines telling them that they are not following the Quran. (9:10) They received the warning. (9:18) This time they didn't put my negative, they put the real picture. (9:24) They are calling me names and everything. (9:27) At least they didn't put the negative. (9:35) So they received warnings. (9:45) I don't know what will happen, but the Quranic teachings point at a terrible disaster happening. (9:54) Of course, they have been incurring a lot of humiliation and problems in the last 40 years. (10:01) But now the warnings have been really concentrated to them. (10:11) They have been told that every single mosque does not uphold the commandments of the Quran. (10:16) It's very popular there. (10:34) Prominent display of the warnings. (10:48) Warnings that the Islam they are following has nothing to do with the Quran. (10:56) But it's been in almost every newspaper. (11:10) I think the most famous magazines. (11:15) The average Egyptian heard about the miracle of the Quran. (11:43) It's been intense. (11:47) It's in the warnings. (11:48) Everybody heard about it. Speaker 3 (11:49) Almost. Speaker 1 (11:54) No, no. (11:54) It's been in Akhir Sa'ah. (11:55) You know what Akhir Sa'ah is? (12:05) Every day in Ramadan they publish something. (12:08) For the last three years. Speaker 3 (12:53) Well, everything you told us. Speaker 1 (13:02) Everything you mentioned, Masa. (13:31) Well, the epistles are now. (13:33) They have a Jesus conference every year. (13:37) And they announced that only the first two epistles are correct. (13:41) The rest are junk. (13:44) They have no confidence in them. (13:46) But if you look at the Gospels. (13:48) Look at the Gospels. (13:49) The majority is truth. (13:53) Yes. Speaker 6 (13:54) It's the same as the Muslims in the New Testament. (13:56) Exactly. Speaker 1 (14:03) It's in the newspaper every year. (14:04) The Jesus conference every year. (14:06) In fact, these most famous statements. (14:09) They declared they were fake. (14:13) Like Donnie just mentioned. (14:14) I'm the life and the way and this and that. (14:18) None goes to the Father except through me. (14:19) That's a fake one. (14:21) And this is coming out of the Christian scholars. (14:30) 99% is truth. (14:33) For example, none of them say Jesus son of God except John. (14:37) And in John it is only four times. (14:38) John is the most recent of the four. (14:41) But the other three don't say Jesus son of God. (14:52) They rule that they are all fake except for the first two. (14:56) I forgot the names. (14:57) If you read the book of Jesus, you can get there. (15:09) They put you in there and lock you in. Speaker 2 (22:25) We take refuge in God from Satan. Speaker 1 (26:17) But today I make some boo-boos sometimes. (26:21) Sometimes I say things that appear to be not very tactful. (26:26) For example, we have here a great team of cake makers. (26:37) They said the best. (26:38) They're all great makers of cake. (26:44) Not to be tactful, but I have to explain to you that each believer is the best. (26:51) Don't make it worse. (27:03) Because new people are so special that every one of you is the best. (27:07) And when I say that, I just want to pay you the highest possible compliment without infringing on the other's properties. Speaker 7 (27:27) Everything... Speaker 1 (27:37) Now how do I get out of this one? Speaker 3 (27:39) Help! Speaker 1 (27:42) I think I get out by saying, OK... (31:48) Warnings. (33:41) Reagan won. (33:42) I'm here. (40:04) And the blue happens to hit the atmosphere. (49:18) I will go to that place. (58:54) Because you're going to... (1:04:03) He's the only one that I know. (1:04:04) I mean, I was really naive. Speaker 4 (1:06:00) How beautiful the highest... (1:06:33) Anything they wish for... (1:06:36) God's grace is even greater than anything. (1:07:07) One of the rejecters... (1:07:08) We know... Speaker 1 (1:08:16) Because to you, God knew that they deserve... (1:08:54) They do not deserve to go to Haggis 39 or just before 40. (1:09:16) And they've been swept. (1:09:28) Which brings me to... (1:09:53) God granted him the understanding. (1:09:55) Because God knew, God said, if it were not that he saw a sign from his Lord, then God says, we thus divert sin from him. (1:10:16) So, was it Joseph? (1:10:24) By the way, the verse goes on and says, Because he was one of God, God diverted him from... (1:10:38) So what I'm saying is that when some of us were swept in the crowd, and God knew that, we were swept in the crowd, some of us were swept... (1:11:09) God granted Abraham his understanding. (1:11:10) God granted you the portion to come across the true message. (1:11:16) It was because we were swept in the crowd somehow, and we agreed with Satan. (1:11:34) And we deserve the chance to come here to be redeemed. (1:11:41) So, the people who are taken, like Martin Luther King, taken only... (1:11:48) Malcolm X, verse 41, previous surah, verse 41, once you get... (1:12:33) So, had God left Martin Luther King to live beyond the age of 40, he would have been swept, that's the word that brought me to it, he would have been swept by his environment and his circumstances into maybe mentioning Jesus and things like that to go along. (1:12:49) He was a pastor in a church, but in his heart, and even vocally, he never said at that time to protect him from going beyond and being swept by his environment and his circumstances. (1:13:16) So, he would be like, we see, if he belongs with those on the right, then peace to you from those on the right. (1:13:27) And you can be sure that God's justice put these people exactly in the right place. (1:13:33) He deserves to be in the Lord. (1:13:37) When Satan made that blasphemy, to go from the jinns to the majority of humans, you talk about a very special group of people who would be the closest to God, they are very special people. (1:14:14) And this would be like when the Prophet Muhammad started to preach, well, let's go to Abraham. (1:14:26) There were people who were with him when the others would throw him in the fire. (1:14:34) Then the message was renewed by repeating the Quran, and he was secretly preaching, and there were people with him. (1:14:46) And then Muhammad became victorious, and he opened Mecca, and all the people in Mecca became believers. (1:14:51) They jumped in the wagon. (1:14:52) But they do not deserve the same credit as the people who were with him when he was being persecuted and having stones thrown on him. (1:15:08) So that was a first generation at the time. (1:15:13) And then, ten years ago, Islam was totally corrupted. (1:15:19) The Poles. (1:15:26) And then God renewed the message. (1:15:30) So now we are a first generation. (1:15:33) And the people who are in this movement, while it is being persecuted, and the names of very special people. (1:15:42) Now, ten years from now, we'll probably have millions. (1:15:46) And everybody will jump in the wagon, but they do not deserve the same credit as you do. (1:15:52) So these very special people will be multiplied from this generation, and after that, when it is fair to be the same, that's the plan. Speaker 4 (1:16:59) God is in full control of all. (1:17:23) Oh, if I don't take my vitamins, I'm going to get sick. Speaker 7 (1:18:46) Forty-one. Speaker 1 (1:19:46) This, of course, for us being here in this world, may God make it backfire into it, and give us happiness in this world, there and forever, through believing in God alone. (1:20:00) Bismillah ar-Rahman ar-Rahim. (1:20:02) In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful. (1:20:10) We're going to start with Surah 51, verse 366. (1:20:16) And our teacher tonight, I forgot his name. (1:20:18) I don't know, do you remember? (1:20:19) What's your name, sir? Speaker 7 (1:20:22) Rashid. Speaker 1 (1:20:23) What's your name? (1:20:24) Rashid. (1:20:27) I'm serious. (1:20:28) He actually forgot. Speaker 5 (1:20:32) Douglass. (1:20:34) Douglass. (1:20:34) Douglass Brown. (1:20:35) Douglass Brown. (1:20:36) You're sure? (1:20:37) I'm sure of that. (1:20:38) You'll find out later when I tell you. Speaker 1 (1:20:42) He's a very nervous teacher today. (1:20:54) I believe I appreciate God differently from people who are unaware or who are not strong believers. (1:21:03) You can see here that the title of the surah is the winds. (1:21:06) And we learn from the first few verses that the winds, their main job is to carry clouds and bring bounties. (1:21:15) We need that water. (1:21:17) So in order to appreciate God and these simple words, just imagine yourself sending ten astronauts to space. (1:21:26) You sending ten astronauts to space and you tell them, okay, you're going to be out there for three years and when you need water, I made an invention in the spaceship so there'll be these clouds on top of you and they will give you water. (1:21:40) You're sending them into space and you devise that system that will give them water, clean water. (1:21:49) When they pollute the water they have on the spaceship, it's going to, you know, one of the number one purification processes is distillation. (1:22:00) So when they pollute their own water, it's going to evaporate, it's going to be pure water and come down again. (1:22:05) So you tell them that to assure them that they will have enough water supply for three years or five years, ten years, whatever. (1:22:11) You're sending them. (1:22:12) Just imagine that. (1:22:15) God sent this spaceship with five billion astronauts. (1:22:18) You and me, we are astronauts. (1:22:20) That's right. (1:22:22) And God gave us this system, God devised this system where the water evaporates and then comes down by the wind, drives the clouds here. (1:22:32) How far are we from the ocean? (1:22:35) We're far from the ocean. (1:22:36) But these clouds came to us from the ocean, by the wind. (1:22:41) It's a traveling system. (1:22:43) And that sends down pure water. (1:22:46) You appreciate God, if you think. (1:22:48) If you imagine sending ten astronauts in space and you tell them, I'm going to give you the exact percentage of oxygen for you to breathe. (1:22:58) Now in 1967, we were technologically advanced people. (1:23:02) In 1967. (1:23:04) But we put three astronauts in a capsule in an atmosphere of 100% oxygen. (1:23:12) Pure oxygen, right? (1:23:13) To breathe. (1:23:15) And all it took was a spark. (1:23:17) And the three astronauts were combusted. (1:23:20) Ed White, God Grissom, and Roger Chaffee. (1:23:24) They are not with us today because of that. (1:23:28) We were really advanced in science. (1:23:32) But when you put anything in pure oxygen and light a match, everything would be combusted. (1:23:37) Everything. (1:23:38) Everything organic that is. (1:23:42) In fact, this is for chemists. (1:23:43) If there are any chemists here, this is the last thing you do to find out if there is, for example, radioactivity in the ashes of anything. (1:23:51) You put it in a closed thing there, you fill it with 100% oxygen, and you create a spark. (1:23:58) And everything will be combusted into ashes. (1:24:02) This is what happened with the three astronauts. (1:24:04) And this is why God didn't give us 100% oxygen. (1:24:08) We have 20% oxygen. (1:24:10) The rest is nitrogen. (1:24:12) And this is what they do now when they send astronauts into space. (1:24:18) But they learned the hard way. (1:24:22) So despite our... (1:24:24) I mean, we were sending people to the moon. (1:24:27) And we couldn't give them the correct atmosphere. (1:24:32) So these few verses here will make us appreciate God if we think of sending our own astronauts into space. (1:24:45) Of course, you know how the oxygen is generated for us. (1:24:47) We breathe it, and we get our carbon dioxide, which is not good for breathing. (1:24:53) So God designed the trees so they will take carbon dioxide and turn it into apples and give us the oxygen. (1:24:59) They take the carbon and give us back the oxygen. (1:25:03) How do you like that for a system? (1:25:04) Can you do that for your astronauts? (1:25:08) You tell your 10 astronauts you're going to be out there for 10 years, and you're going to breathe out carbon dioxide, so I'm going to give you a couple of... (1:25:15) I invented this plant or something that will take your carbon dioxide, turn it into food for you, and you'll get the oxygen back. (1:25:27) That's God's creation. (1:25:30) And you think it's all evolution, right? (1:25:38) Are there any questions on these? (1:25:40) The wind and the rain? (1:25:41) Sound please. (1:25:45) We're talking only about the 5 billion human beings. (1:25:47) You forget they tell you ants and the... (1:25:53) about 200 billion mice. (1:26:02) There may be a few of them in this mosque running around. (1:26:07) The name scales are this way. (1:26:10) Okay, back to Douglas. (1:26:12) Yes, Cathy. (1:26:30) This is mentioned specifically as a great miracle in the Quran, you know, the language. (1:26:34) Just go to Europe. (1:26:42) Within a radius of 50 miles, not 50, 20 miles in Europe, you can come across 15 languages, Czechoslovakia, Hungary, Austria. (1:26:54) Within Czechoslovakia, there are several languages. (1:27:01) These people understand each other, but these people don't understand them, they understand each other, and it's a miracle. Speaker 3 (1:27:10) Still amazing. Speaker 1 (1:27:27) There you said it, his only son. (1:27:30) Isaac was never the only son. (1:27:33) You said the truth right there. (1:27:43) It didn't say, take your only legitimate son. (1:27:45) It said, take your only son. (1:27:47) Even if he's illegitimate. (1:27:50) He was not illegitimate. (1:27:52) Did you try to take your only son, or your only illegitimate? Speaker 3 (1:27:59) No. Speaker 1 (1:28:01) Somebody, of course, the Jews and the Christians believe it was Isaac. (1:28:06) But that's a racial, that's a racial distortion. (1:28:10) They said, take your only son, comma, Isaac, comma. (1:28:13) So they made a boo-boo there, because Isaac was never the only son. (1:28:18) So when you tell them, when you confront them with that only son business, because Ishmael was 14 years older than Isaac. (1:28:25) They tell you all, because Isaac was the only legitimate son. (1:28:28) They said, OK, let's look at the Bible. (1:28:30) And the Bible consistently calls Ishmael Abraham's son, until Abraham dies, and then they say, when Abraham died, his two sons, Ishmael and Isaac, buried him. (1:28:42) So, there's no way out. (1:28:48) No. (1:28:52) No, you read it in some novel. (1:28:53) From who? (1:28:56) From who? (1:29:00) No, no, it's not in Genesis, no. (1:29:06) Abraham had, I mean, Sarah was terrible. (1:29:11) She didn't have anything but Isaac. (1:29:16) There were a lot of novels that he said, we married this and that. (1:29:28) Many other children, they're irrelevant, because the Quran and the Bible mention only Ishmael and Isaac. (1:29:38) In Genesis 22, in Genesis 22, around 25, it says, when Abraham died, his two sons, Ishmael and Isaac, buried him. (1:29:50) So, Ishmael was Abraham's son. (1:29:53) He was the only son of Abraham for 14 years. (1:29:57) Isaac was never the only son. (1:30:04) Isaac is the father of the Jews. (1:30:06) Ishmael is the father of the Arabs. (1:30:07) The Jews played around with the Genesis, the Torah. (1:30:21) Right, they didn't have anything, Ishmael didn't have anything to do with anything. (1:30:27) So, they made a big mistake. (1:30:28) So, they made a big mistake. (1:30:33) Just like the two verses in the Quran. (1:30:36) Exactly, they made a glaring error. (1:30:41) And they tried to correct it in the newer editions of the Bible. (1:30:44) They say, take your only one. (1:30:48) Trying very hard, but they make it worse. (1:30:51) Your only one what? (1:30:52) Donkey? Speaker 3 (1:30:54) I mean, every little thing. Speaker 1 (1:31:15) People bring the destruction on themselves. (1:31:20) Sodom and Gomorrah, they were all reformed. (1:31:28) They brought it on themselves. (1:31:30) So, it is God's law that when they do this, nowadays, when we tell the virus, their family, their family will take the children out of God's presence.
