45) Quran Study: Surah 40
Quran Study Sura 40 by Rashad Khalifa @ Firoz's home, Deja Vu, Believers usually 95 yrs old
Speaker 1 (0:02) We're holding the telephone up there. (0:04) Oh, there she is. (0:08) Surah 40, we're holding Surah 40, verse 4, 6, 7. (0:12) A'udhu Billahi Minash Shaitanir Rajeem. (0:14) Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem. (0:15) In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful. (0:21) The first verse is Ha-Mim, H-M. (0:26) So let's look at the footnote. (0:33) The footnote says, the initials Ha-Mim occur in Surah 40 through 46, seven verses. (0:38) The total frequency of occurrence of the letters Ha and Mim in the seven surahs is 2-1-4-7-19-1-1-3. (0:50) These are very straightforward letters. (0:53) This is why the people who do not like the narration of the Qur'an, you know, in Surah 19, they never touch these Ha-Mim. (1:02) They cannot understand how to count them correctly, because they don't know how to count them. (1:18) They don't know what to take as Ha-Mim for example. (1:21) There are many, many other examples. (1:27) So Ha-Mim, he counts it in the seven surahs, and the total is 2-1-4-7. (1:50) There are seven consecutive surahs residing above. (1:57) The first verse, Ha-Mim, is proof of this revelation of the Scripture is from God. (2:19) This is the meaning. (2:22) Ha-Mim proves that the Forgiver of sins, and God decides sins. (2:57) Number four says, none argues against God's revelations except those He gives to me. (3:11) Do not be impressed by their appearance but say, none argues against God's revelations except those He gives to me. (3:28) That's the book they believe in. (3:32) And God gives His mention, none argues against God's revelations. (3:47) So anyone who argues against the Qur'an, the fact that God is the Forgiver of sins, that is all power. (4:06) There is no other entity but Him. (4:12) Only God possesses all power. (5:35) Then when it became public, it was all wrong. (7:01) Number five again, disbelieving before death was the people of Noah. (7:05) And many falsehoods after them. (7:07) Every community attacked their message. (7:12) And they argued with falsehoods. (8:00) They even said, they get tired of one description and after that with falsehoods. (8:40) They are not very fortunate. (8:41) And the next generation are either heaven or the lowest pit of hell. (9:20) That's what God has just mentioned. (9:37) After Noah, we are heading to the lowest pit of hell. (9:46) This is all a powerful evidence. (10:00) That's the quality I understand how terrible was my reputation. (10:18) By the way, I opened this at random. (10:20) So we have two. (10:22) That's what gives God a sign of fear. (10:27) The reason I say this is the only truth. (10:51) Six, not the word of your Lord is already stamped upon you as well as you can. (11:12) First of all, the message is not. (11:21) Like I said, it used to be five. (11:39) Five, all five. (12:06) This is God's mathematical information that represents our message. (12:44) The message that you and I are proclaiming throughout our days. (12:46) God alone. (12:48) We will come to it in just a minute. (12:52) So verse seven. (12:55) The one who serves the throne. (12:56) The end. (12:58) Glorify and praise our Lord, your mercy, and you give those who repent. (13:18) Our Lord is the almighty, most wise. (13:31) And protect them from sin. (13:45) In the next two verses you find exactly, you find the message. (13:47) Exactly why people go to hell. (13:52) Very simple. (13:53) Very simple translation. (13:55) Number ten says, those who disbelieve with their souls. (13:59) God of horror told you, you are invited to believe. (14:10) They will say, our Lord, you have pressed our sins. (14:17) Is there any way out? (14:28) This is because with God alone was advocated. (14:38) God's judgment was advocated. (14:47) When God and Muhammad was advocated. (15:09) Just a reminder. (15:10) Just before this. (15:13) Yes. (15:15) Even God alone is a good worker. (15:21) Often being vain. (15:27) Get rid of the addiction. (15:36) The works are in vain. (15:37) This is very important. (15:38) It can be as miserable as five prayers every day. (15:44) Just look at it in surah. (16:19) Just like idol worship nullifies all works. (16:24) It has been revealed to you and to those before you, that if you ever commit idol worship, all your works will be nullified. (16:34) Therefore you say, worship God alone. (16:46) It's just so clear. (16:47) The only way people in this system go to hell. (16:53) I'm accustomed, accustomed, most of our meetings, we have five, we actually come, we spy on the group. (17:04) After they hear from the lowest, they sit down, they look, they see this is the cause, you are in hell because when God alone is advocated with disbelief, but when others were mentioned, invariably they fall. (17:40) Because God is watching them. (17:43) So they go and they are swept in the crowd. (17:49) They spy on them. (18:07) Number fifteen, he is the one who continuously shows you his signs. (18:13) This is definitely applicable to the miracle of the Quran. (18:18) Last night we witnessed a fantastic miracle. (18:24) Last night in Ali's house. (18:26) We saw one page that had these numbers, the total number of persons who worshiped God. (18:46) I'm telling you, any person who left last night, this is his worship. (19:03) Therefore, a fantastic sign. (19:31) One of the miracles of miracles. (19:42) At the bottom of the line, you can look at this one. (19:45) At the bottom line of this page, we have the number of rak'ahs in the whole page. (19:50) By the way, before I say this, one of the famous letters, again, this is God. (20:03) If the Quran is complete, if the Quran is complete, Prophet Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wa sallam, he says, of God's plan, where can you find the number of rak'ahs? (20:26) So they are actually challenging God. (20:27) God says, the Quran is complete. (20:29) How do you know about this? (20:37) There are seven of those in the Quran. (20:47) By the way, at the bottom of this page, we see confirmation. (21:13) We see a number that begins with the number of rak'ahs in the whole page. (21:19) Followed by the number of the prayer. (21:26) Followed by the number of rak'ahs in that prayer, which is two. (21:29) Followed by two. (21:49) Second prayer, four rak'ahs, and four Faj'ahs, all the way to God. (22:00) Confirmed with the first two units. (22:16) Now, of course, Prophet Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wa sallam will say, how about Friday? (22:20) Friday, at least. (22:30) What is the total number of Faj'ahs that we recite? (22:47) And now, we put the number of units and the number of Faj'ahs. (22:52) So at noon on Friday, how many Faj'ahs do we read? (22:57) Two Faj'ahs. (22:58) This movement from the afternoon prayer, or the Sunday prayer, that was done on Friday. (23:15) So let's go back to this verse. (23:18) Now, these are all physical facts. (23:20) They are not opinions. (23:33) Only those who totally submit will be able. (23:37) Anyone who does not take heed, to last night, to the number of times that we went, to the one who left, Ali's house, that was a blessing for a terrible curse. (24:07) Go to Ali's house last night. (24:08) It was a fantastic blessing for a fantastic curse. (24:16) That was the worst day in their life, yes, as they say. (24:20) Worst day in their life, if they believe. (24:24) Worst day in their life, as they remember, the highest heaven and the lowest hell. (24:49) Number 14, this is God's advice and commandment to all of us. (24:52) Therefore, you can devote your worship absolutely to God alone. (25:07) You can make a choice if you are God who can afford your happiness, health, or you can devote your worship absolutely to God alone. (25:26) When you do that, some people, some of your friends, like it. (25:37) God is telling you. (25:43) God is possessor of the highest strength. (25:48) He sends inspiration bearing his command to whomever he chooses to walk about in the name of God. (26:04) Bearing his command. (26:15) Why does God take this person? (26:20) This is part of the humor that brought us to this world. (26:32) It is jealousy and resentment that you have to consider God's evidence. (27:01) By the way, I refuse to answer. (27:05) Like my brain continues to answer on grounds that may incriminate many people. (27:30) Some consolation to me is that I am also as required as you are to believe that we have gathered enough courage to share the sign of the Lamb of God. Speaker 2 (28:14) He may choose any of us who, every single person who has come to this world, this miracle has been there for us for 1400 years. Speaker 1 (28:56) And I put it in the Egyptian text and I can say that it is a very powerful thing. (29:08) None of the Mohammedans put it. (29:17) It is all over the place. (29:20) So 1400 years of so-called scholars were scrutinizing every resource that should be provided to them or hide anything from them. (30:55) So, may I stop right here? (31:09) Oh, 29 and 38. (31:18) There is a verse, verse 34 says, do not say that Mohammed was the last messenger. (31:27) You go back four verses you see to the 40. (31:47) If you look at the Arabic and you see 29 says, 29 says ... (32:57) No, no, no, no, no, no. (33:04) All the signs that are supposed to happen and the smoke I imagine will happen I am guessing. (34:42) It is just incredible. (34:49) OK, is that noon? (34:54) So, what about 10, 27, 7, 9, 1, 3, 9? (36:44) I recommend doing with fast pace for a very long time. (37:17) And God gave us that. (37:25) And God gave us to see how fast it is. (37:52) Very good question. (37:53) Very good question. (37:54) This is why I am very careful in all my publications if idol worship is wrong. (38:04) And God will discover that idol worship is wrong and requires help. (38:23) So, idol worship is unforgivable if we make one step towards God in the next generation. (41:21) This is what God did with Satan. (41:39) God gave him a chance and he did not. (41:41) God (41:41) gave Satan (41:41) a chance (41:42) to give (41:42) Adam (41:53) a chance Speaker 2 (41:53) to give (42:20) Adam Speaker 1 (43:34) a chance (43:35) to give (43:37) a chance (43:44) to give (43:44) Adam (43:44) a chance (43:46) a chance (43:55) to give (43:56) Adam (43:56) a chance (43:56) a chance (43:56) to give (43:56) Adam (43:57) to give (44:16) Adam (44:17) a chance (44:17) to give (44:22) Adam (44:26) a chance (44:27) to give (44:27) a chance Speaker 2 (44:31) to give Speaker 1 (44:56) Adam (44:56) a chance (44:56) to give (45:03) a chance (45:04) to give (45:04) a chance (45:07) to give (45:17) a chance (45:19) to give (45:33) a chance (45:36) to give (45:38) a chance (45:39) to give (45:39) a chance (45:41) a chance (45:41) to give (45:41) a chance (45:41) to give (45:41) a chance (45:41) to give (45:41) a chance Speaker 2 (46:16) to give Speaker 1 (46:18) a chance (46:19) to give (46:19) a chance (46:20) to give Speaker 5 (46:20) a chance (46:21) a chance (46:21) to give Speaker 2 (46:21) a chance Speaker 1 (46:42) to give (46:42) a chance (46:42) to give (46:42) a chance (46:42) to give (47:10) a chance (47:10) to give (47:10) a chance (47:18) to give (47:19) to give (47:24) a chance (47:27) to give (47:41) a chance (47:46) to give Speaker 2 (47:49) a chance Speaker 1 (48:33) a chance (48:33) to give (48:33) a chance (48:33) to give (48:35) a chance (48:35) to give (48:35) a chance (48:35) to give (48:35) a chance (48:35) to give (48:35) a chance (48:35) to give (48:35) a chance (48:35) a chance (48:35) a chance (48:35) to give (48:35) a chance (48:35) to give (48:35) a chance (48:57) a chance (49:00) to give (49:00) a chance (49:05) heaven whenever hell is mentioned. (49:08) So verse 30 says, on the other hand, when the righteous are asked, what do you think of these revelations from your Lord? (49:15) They say, good. (49:17) For those who lead the righteous life, happiness and the abode of the hereafter is even better. (49:22) What a blissful abode for the righteous. (49:24) They enter the gardens of Eden wherein rivers flow. (49:27) They have anything they wish therein. (49:30) God thus rewards the righteous. (49:35) The angels terminate their lives in a state of righteousness, saying, peace be upon you. (49:40) Enter paradise as a reward for your work. (49:42) So as far as verse 32 is concerned, we learn that at the time of death, every person knows exactly where they're going. (49:51) And the Qur'an also tells us that as far as the departing of the righteous, the wicked ones, the angels end up snatching their souls. (50:11) First, they tell them, let go of their souls. (50:14) And they refuse. (50:16) It takes a lot of time, a lot of pain. (50:19) But for the believers, they're usually 95 years old, and they want to go. (50:25) And their soul departs gently. (50:30) We have exact records to prove that. (50:34) And this is what the Qur'an says also. (50:37) So we see in 32 that the angels terminate the lives of the righteous and the wicked ones. (50:39) And the angels terminate the lives of the righteous and the wicked ones. (50:39) And the angels terminate the lives of the righteous and the wicked ones. (50:39) And the angels terminate the lives of the righteous and the wicked ones. (50:39) And the angels terminate the lives of the righteous and the wicked ones. (51:09) You have all the ships moving around the oceans, you know, you have to have a collateral here, a collateral there, mashallah, God bless you. (51:21) Really, this is God's promise to the believers. (51:25) They raise their kids, they pay their debts, they finish all their affairs, and they're ready to go. (51:29) They want to go. Speaker 2 (51:35) Why? Speaker 1 (51:35) No, at the time, don't worry. (51:38) When the time comes, God says everybody has a specific size. (51:40) He will send you a lump sum to pay all the debts. (51:45) Don't worry. (51:48) No worry, no grief. (51:50) This is God's promise. Speaker 5 (51:51) No fear, no grief. Speaker 4 (51:51) In fact, at the time of death, the righteous know that they're going to paradise. Speaker 1 (51:55) Is that why, after they're gone, they're going to have pleasant dreams? (52:02) No, no, no, forget all this. (52:04) This is a ten-year-old translation. (52:06) Oh, I see. (52:06) They will have an active conscious existence in the world of souls. (52:13) Which has no connection with us. (52:16) Well, they're not aware of what we'll do. (52:17) Yeah, they don't care either. (52:20) They don't care, but God lets them update certain information for them. Speaker 2 (52:26) Before the resurrection, you simply move from stage to stage. Speaker 1 (52:33) You enter into a new stage, which turns out to be very conscious and very busy. (52:41) They don't wonder something like, Ismail is going. (52:44) They're there for a few centuries, and they are very conscious and very busy. (52:50) They carry on an active life. (52:53) We have this here in the Quran. (52:55) We have both sides of the coin, the righteous and the wicked. (52:59) The righteous are in, God says they are alive. (53:05) Don't say they're dead. (53:06) They are alive at the Lord being provided for. (53:09) In Arabic, for those who know Arabic, They are alive at the Lord being provided for. (53:18) And I'm speaking of this from my own experience, that I shared with many of you. (53:24) They are very conscious and very sharp. (53:26) The consciousness is very sharp. (53:29) And obviously, there are things going on over there. Speaker 2 (53:32) This is for the martyrs, right? (53:35) Pardon? (53:39) The righteous. (53:40) The righteous. (53:41) Otherwise, this is for the martyrs, and then when they die, they start. (53:44) Yes. Speaker 1 (53:44) Not the martyrs. (53:45) No, the righteous. Speaker 2 (53:46) The righteous. Speaker 1 (53:47) The martyrs are included. Speaker 2 (53:49) The martyrs are included. Speaker 1 (53:50) All the righteous, not just the martyrs. (53:55) Okay, let me give you this verse. (53:57) You can look it up in the Quran if you want. (53:59) But one of them says, do not say about those who are killed in the cause of God, they are dead. (54:07) For they are alive at the Lord being provided for. (54:11) Okay, this is one. (54:12) There is a verse that says, whether you die in the cause of God or are killed in the cause of God, it's the same. (54:20) This is another verse. (54:23) And then there is another one that says, do not say about those who, I think also martyrs in the cause of God. (54:36) But the conclusion from all these is that all the righteous are alive and well at God. (54:44) The unrighteous exist, but it's a miserable existence. (54:48) You cannot call it alive and well. (54:50) They are not well. (54:51) They are alive, but they are not well. (54:53) Okay, let's put it this way. (54:56) The word of Saul, while waiting for the resurrection, there is life. (55:02) It is not the same life of heaven and hell. (55:06) Let me share with you... (55:08) This is not a punishment, is it? (55:10) Yes, it's a terrible punishment. (55:11) They know. (55:13) The punishment on the end of the beat, they wish it. (55:16) This is punishment. (55:18) Let's look at surah 40, and this is the other side of the coin. (55:40) Okay, 46. (55:43) I have to adjust this subtitle. (55:46) A Continuous Nightmare. (55:48) 46 says, the hell will be shown to them day and night. (55:52) And on the day of resurrection, admit Pharaoh's people into the world. (55:57) So they will know where they are going. (55:59) They will see. (56:00) Not see. (56:01) They will be told. (56:01) They have a good idea what hell will be like. (56:04) But there is no hell until the day of resurrection. (56:08) So the unrighteous will see, will know exactly where they are heading. (56:14) You cannot call that... (56:15) What verse is it? (56:16) 41. (56:18) Surah 40, verse 46. (56:22) So we have at least three verses in the Quran telling us that the righteous will be alive and well. (56:29) You simply move from one stage to the next stage. (56:31) Okay. Speaker 2 (56:37) Back to sleeping. Speaker 1 (56:39) Yes. Speaker 2 (56:42) Right. Speaker 1 (56:43) Now we have to... (56:45) God is teaching us, giving us more information about that. Speaker 4 (56:48) But isn't there an ayah that says, an ayah in surah 18 that says... (56:54) خَ ْ ِ َول ِفي ُف ال ُّسور َا ُھم ِذ َ ْجَدا ِس ِّمَن َفإ َ ا ٰى ْلأ ل ُ َرِّبھ و َن ِ إ ْم ِ ْ ِشن ََن َیَو ا َقال ى ُوا (56:58) .Yes َین ل Wait, wait, wait, wait. Speaker 1 (57:00) Blowing in the horn would be... (57:02) Yeah. (57:02) Right, right, right. This) 57:11 (.here about talk s'Let) 57:09 (.that beyond about talk s'Let َم ْرَقِدَن َب َعث ِم ْن ا ََن َم ْن ا (57:05) was before the devil's resurrection. (57:13) The word of Saul is before the devil's resurrection. Speaker 5 (57:17) Yeah, but these guys that are being resurrected, they're... Speaker 1 (57:22) At least the implication is that they were not aware of what was happening. (57:26) The last person on earth departs. (57:28) Okay. (57:28) Where will he go? (57:32) The last person on earth. (57:33) He'll go to the repository and to the... (57:35) He's going to go and all the others. (57:37) Right, right. (57:37) Then the earth, there's no more life. (57:40) No, the earth doesn't shatter. (57:42) Then the horn is blown. (57:45) Okay, and everybody's dead and they go to the world of Saul. (57:49) Not everybody. (57:50) There's no life. (57:51) Not everybody. (57:52) But Israel will be alive. (57:54) Maybe one inch. (57:56) َّلا َّلا إ َم ْن َشا َء ِ .Yes إ َم ْن َشا َء ِ (57:58) We'll talk about on the earth. Speaker 4 (57:59) Right. Speaker 1 (57:59) We'll talk about the earth. (58:01) We'll talk about everything. (58:02) We'll talk about the earth. (58:03) Every human being, they're all assigned. (58:07) They are dead. (58:07) They go back to the world of Saul. (58:09) Then the horn for resurrection is blown. (58:12) And everyone is resurrected. (58:13) And the souls are matched. (58:15) Where the nifus is with it. (58:17) Everyone, the soul and the new body are coupled. (58:21) Then they are brought from the world of Saul back to this earth. (58:24) This very earth, the same one. (58:27) And then God and the angels come to this world. (58:29) And this is when this world blows up from under our feet. (58:33) But we don't need it because we'll be airborne all over. (58:37) Butterflies. (58:38) Then God will create. (58:40) We read it this morning. (58:41) Were you here? (58:42) No, not yet. (58:43) In surah 14, God creates new earth and new universes, including the earth universe which is here. (58:53) This is when the earth. (59:03) Yes. Speaker 2 (59:04) The new body. (59:05) Yes. Speaker 1 (59:08) I beg your pardon? Speaker 2 (59:10) Oh no, this is a video tape. Speaker 1 (59:17) This is a witness. (59:18) We're going to have a video tape hanging in our neck. (59:20) And if you want to see why we are in that rank or that position, you can view the video tape and see yourself top lifting, for example. (59:28) This is how you handle testifying. (59:35) I'm sorry, Carol. (59:37) You've been trying to ask for the last 15 minutes. (59:49) Yes. (59:50) Yes. (59:50) Because sleeping is like death. (59:53) As a matter of fact, our souls wander during the night. (59:56) And we see visions of dreams. (1:00:04) No, our souls are connected with the body. (1:00:06) Yes. (1:00:08) Right, but this wanders, goes all over the place. (1:00:11) Now, but death means that connection between the soul and the body is severed. (1:00:16) Is this what you were going to ask? (1:00:18) Yes. (1:00:18) Wow. Speaker 2 (1:00:18) When a human dies, they die. Speaker 4 (1:00:24) Yes. Speaker 2 (1:00:24) You know, when you sleep. Speaker 1 (1:00:27) Right. (1:00:29) Yes. (1:00:29) This explains the dream. (1:00:31) However, I want to go back to the concept that we have, that death is like one night of sleep. (1:00:38) It is still true, because it is a finite series of time. (1:00:41) But when you divide by infinity, it's equal to zero. (1:00:44) The whole life of this world is mentioned as one hour. (1:00:48) Or blink of an eye. (1:00:50) It's all right. (1:00:52) So that period in the depository is very short compared to the hereafter. (1:00:58) And it's like one life compared to the hereafter, to eternity. (1:01:04) But if you look at it, what is going on right now, something is going on right now in the world of thoughts. (1:01:15) What's going on right now in the world of thoughts is activity and consciousness, and people meeting each other and knowing each other, and receiving some news and talking about this news. (1:01:28) But it's a life or an existence about which we know nothing other than what the Quran says. (1:01:34) Only. (1:01:36) Well, I know, for example, in 1971, they were told, the message of the covenant has been placed on earth, and he will unify and purify your messages. (1:01:46) And the prophets received this news, and so they went on to send other people. (1:01:51) This is what believe in and support means. (1:01:54) The Quran means that they eat and live and sleep and what not. (1:01:57) I'm not going to go beyond that being provided for. (1:02:01) I'm sure they need energy to move about. (1:02:03) They need energy to communicate. (1:02:06) So the energy is the provision. (1:02:09) Now, the house, of course, we have a very limited knowledge about this. (1:02:13) That's impossible. (1:02:15) Other than what God tells you, there is no way. (1:02:17) In my experience, it was very limited and very specific. (1:02:23) I saw them, they saw me, and that's it. (1:02:25) I didn't see anything outside of that. (1:02:27) But we can conclude from this that they left, after this incident, they left and they sent other people. (1:02:36) But God has informed us that his message of the covenant has been placed on the planet earth, and is doing this and that. (1:02:43) And this is what I call updating the information for them. (1:02:48) So what does this teach us? (1:02:49) It teaches us that there is activity, there is knowledge, there is communication, they are alive and well, being provided for. (1:02:57) Ben? (1:02:58) And the bad guy? Speaker 2 (1:03:05) It's a new body, yes? (1:03:09) It's the original body. Speaker 1 (1:03:15) The original body? (1:03:17) The original body? Speaker 2 (1:03:18) Yes. Speaker 1 (1:03:19) The original body is like the suit you were wearing in 1962. Speaker 2 (1:03:29) Yes. Speaker 4 (1:03:33) The bad guy will be bad and the good guy will be good. Speaker 1 (1:03:41) God gave us an allegory, God gave us an example in this world, and told us literally how we will be resurrected. (1:03:50) The allegory that we have in this world is the caterpillar. (1:03:54) You heard this before, right? (1:03:55) The caterpillar, the worm. (1:03:58) The caterpillar is earthbound, walking on the earth, sliding in the sea, things like that. (1:04:03) And then it goes into the grave, the cocoon, right? (1:04:07) For a while. (1:04:08) And then it comes out what? (1:04:09) A butterfly. (1:04:12) Yes. (1:04:14) God told us literally, On that day the people will be like butterflies. (1:04:20) And this is a very powerful hint as to the connection. (1:04:25) What's the connection between the caterpillar and the butterfly? (1:04:29) This is the same creature, right? (1:04:33) This is exactly the allegory between our bodies now, they're earthbound, and our bodies in the hereafter. (1:04:41) That's why when the earth shatters from under our feet, we don't care because we're here. (1:04:46) We're airborne. (1:04:47) And we don't need oxygen or anything like that in the hereafter. (1:04:54) We'll get a pilot's license. (1:04:56) Yes, well, pilot's license. (1:04:58) Some will not have. (1:04:59) They will sink like rocks. (1:05:02) To the edge of the universe. (1:05:05) The ones who did not develop their bodies. (1:05:08) Their souls. (1:05:08) Their souls, excuse me. (1:05:11) As far as fat, if you say fat, right now we need to be on a diet to fatten ourselves as fast as possible for the hereafter. (1:05:20) So God says, those who are heavy will make it to heaven, and those who are light will go to hell. Speaker 5 (1:05:29) Now isn't that heaven? (1:05:31) And we're doing exactly the opposite. (1:05:33) We're dieting to get light. Speaker 1 (1:05:38) Yes, it's the exact opposite. (1:05:40) You know, I just saw a funny cartoon in a newspaper where they showed two ladies with wings. (1:05:47) They're in heaven. (1:05:49) And there's a table in front of them with a bunch of cakes, and a flag on it was saying, calories equal zero. (1:05:56) Now I know we're in heaven. (1:06:04) For the hereafter, we need to fatten ourselves as much as possible. (1:06:09) And you fatten yourself by doing the five prayers, for example. (1:06:12) Every prayer is a meal. (1:06:13) Every time you say SubhanAllah, it's a meal. (1:06:15) When you jump out of bed in the morning and say Bismillah, it's a meal. (1:06:19) Snacks, excuse me. (1:06:21) These are snacks, by the way. (1:06:23) So just take as many snacks as you can. (1:06:25) You look at your kids and say MashaAllah. (1:06:27) You stop your car and say Bismillah. (1:06:30) When the sun is very nice, you say MashaAllah, Alhamdulillah. (1:06:33) Say it in English, any language you want. (1:06:36) So all these are snacks to fatten you. (1:06:40) And we'd like to be as fat as possible. (1:06:47) All this will help make you as fat as possible. (1:06:50) The skinny ones will not be able to stand the presence of God and will deliberately go. (1:06:56) Remember there are mosquitoes and flies and butterflies, all kinds of flying objects that start out as a worm. (1:07:04) So right now we are in our larval state. (1:07:14) And it's not important really, this life is not important. (1:07:19) If you spend it rich or poor or fat or skinny, it's all of sorts. (1:07:24) It doesn't matter. (1:07:26) What matters is redemption to God's kingdom. Speaker 6 (1:07:32) They never died. Speaker 1 (1:07:39) If they came back to tell you about it, they never died. (1:07:42) What they are saying is an out-of-body experience. Speaker 2 (1:07:45) That's the extent of it. Speaker 1 (1:07:47) Yes. Speaker 4 (1:07:50) Because when you die, you don't come back. (1:07:53) That's it. Speaker 1 (1:07:56) Craig? (1:08:08) Only God knows the future, unless God wills to reveal certain information through messengers, that he chooses to deliver this news to the rest of the world or to his friends. (1:08:22) But, just to complete this question, sometimes we are given glimpses of our videotapes. (1:08:33) Each one of us has a videotape already recorded before we fall asleep. (1:08:37) And when we sleep and our soul is out there, one of the qualities of the soul, which has some qualities of God, one of the qualities is to travel in time. (1:08:51) So you can travel in time to 1998, and you see yourself, here is my favorite example, you see yourself in Moscow buying a diamond ring from a magician. (1:09:02) In Moscow. (1:09:03) And you wake up in the morning, it feels like a dream to you. (1:09:07) Moscow, a magician, diamond ring, crazy dream. (1:09:11) But time goes by in 1988, there you are in Moscow buying a diamond ring from a magician. (1:09:16) And you remember immediately. (1:09:18) Yeah. (1:09:21) This happens almost to every one of us, actually. (1:09:23) You find yourself in a situation, and you remember that you've seen this before. (1:09:29) And you swear, you know, you saw it yourself. (1:09:36) It's simply a glimpse of your videotape. (1:09:39) You have fast forward, you've got fast forward, then you pause to play for a second, and then came back. (1:09:46) My mother, that I have, finds herself in this dream always comes true. Speaker 4 (1:09:52) So one day, she bought me a red shirt. (1:09:56) I said, what? (1:09:57) She's very strange. (1:10:01) Where did you meet her? (1:10:01) No, in London. (1:10:02) Oh, in London, OK. (1:10:03) So she said, well, I dreamt that I bought you a red shirt, so I went out to watch football. Speaker 5 (1:10:10) A self-proclaimed pro. Speaker 2 (1:10:12) A self-proclaimed pro. (1:10:21) Not that I know of. Speaker 1 (1:10:25) ESP and things like that? (1:10:26) Maybe, yes. Speaker 3 (1:10:28) OK. Speaker 1 (1:10:29) Tell us about it. (1:10:33) No, really, because we share this experience. (1:10:36) I know that to think about it is possible. (1:10:40) It happens to me. (1:10:41) The premonition? (1:10:54) Poor Carol. Speaker 3 (1:10:55) She said, well, give me a call, maybe I'll pick you up from the bus. (1:11:49) I was sitting at this friend's house in Seattle, and I got this strange feeling that I could go and talk him, because I was just American. (1:12:04) It was just incredible. (1:12:06) I knew it. (1:12:07) It was just like a flash in front of me. (1:12:10) I went to the phone. (1:12:11) I called him up. (1:12:12) I told him to meet me at the bus. (1:12:13) And from that minute on, I knew I was an American. (1:12:16) I have no idea why. (1:12:18) I was not particularly interested. Speaker 1 (1:12:21) Obviously, you had a glimpse of your visit here, but you were fully awake. Speaker 3 (1:12:25) I was fully awake. Speaker 1 (1:12:26) So it is possible. Speaker 3 (1:12:28) I'd like to share my experience with you, because I had a dream before I married him that I was going to get married to him. Speaker 2 (1:12:36) Really? Speaker 3 (1:12:37) And he was married before. (1:12:39) There was absolutely no way. (1:12:40) He wasn't even divorced at that time. (1:12:42) There was absolutely nothing. (1:12:44) I used to call him, like, I used to call him, I had a dream. Speaker 5 (1:12:55) You know what? (1:12:56) It left him a complimentary. (1:12:58) That's one I've never heard of. (1:13:00) I mean, it's already 200 years. (1:13:02) Go ahead. Speaker 3 (1:13:02) And I had a dream that his ex-wife was waking me up and telling me all about him. (1:13:09) And I just kind of overlooked it, because I was too young. (1:13:12) I was hardly 17, 18. Speaker 1 (1:13:19) How much later did you marry him? Speaker 2 (1:13:21) Sorry? Speaker 1 (1:13:21) How old were you when you got married? Speaker 2 (1:13:24) Oh, about 19. Speaker 1 (1:13:25) So three years later. (1:13:27) So you had this vision three years in advance. (1:13:30) This is definitely a property of the human being. (1:13:34) It has nothing to do with belief or disbelief. (1:13:36) It has to do with the nature of things. (1:13:38) We have a body and a soul. (1:13:41) And the soul has the quality of dreams happening into the future. (1:13:49) And it comes to pass. Speaker 3 (1:13:50) And it's time? Speaker 1 (1:13:50) Well, of course, the correlation with dreams, some dreams are significant. (1:13:54) Like we have Joseph's dream. (1:13:56) We have the king's dream. (1:13:57) The seven fat cows and seven skinny cows. (1:14:00) Now, these need interpretation. (1:14:04) The seven fat cows and seven skinny cows meant seven good years, followed by seven bad years. (1:14:10) There's no connection between cow and year. (1:14:12) So this is another type of dream. (1:14:14) And God keeps them, that they have significance. (1:14:17) And many dreams are just nonsense. (1:14:20) And some have to do with your physical condition. (1:14:22) Do you have a headache or a stomachache or you ate too much? (1:14:25) It wasn't a random dream, I guess. Speaker 3 (1:14:28) So how do you know what a nonsense dream is? Speaker 1 (1:14:34) You just forget about them. (1:14:35) Don't worry about them. (1:14:37) And I'm telling you, if God wants you to know something, like in the case of Carol, he will let you know. (1:14:43) God will find a way, will teach you that you know certain things that he wants you to know. (1:14:51) So don't worry about dreams. (1:14:52) But don't try to interpret them either, because you can see there's no connection between cows and years. (1:15:01) And dwarfs and not-dwarfs. (1:15:03) Yes, dwarfs and not-dwarfs. (1:15:05) Also, the two people with Joseph in the prison, one of them had a dream about a bird eating a fish. (1:15:14) And they told him it was going to be crucified, and he was crucified. (1:15:18) So there is a basis for these things. (1:15:21) What is the connection between bread on his head and the bird eating the fish, and being crucified? (1:15:26) But this is a gift that God gave Joseph. (1:15:28) Yes, God gave it to Joseph. (1:15:31) No, no, the man. Speaker 4 (1:15:33) The prisoner. Speaker 1 (1:15:37) And the other guy was by himself, serving wine. (1:15:41) And he became the king. Speaker 5 (1:15:52) But it's significant that it's the bartender who brought Joseph to the attention of the girls. Speaker 1 (1:15:57) That was the idea. (1:15:59) This is how God arranged the event. (1:16:02) So the bartender... (1:16:03) How do the Sunnis speak this epistle? (1:16:07) This epistle on the bartender, the server of drinks. (1:16:12) This is very... (1:16:14) The story is so benign that no distortion happens. (1:16:16) In the Bible, it's word for word than in the Quran. (1:16:19) Because it has no doctrines, it doesn't affect infinity or monotheism. (1:16:23) And the same with the Sunnis. (1:16:25) No, it's parallel to the Anheuser-Busch thing. (1:16:30) No, it's not parallel. (1:16:32) No, it is a parallel. (1:16:33) You know, this guy serving liquor. (1:16:35) Yes, but that's a story of the Quran. (1:16:37) Yes, yes. (1:16:39) Allah. (1:16:39) Allah. (1:16:40) Allah. (1:16:41) Allah. (1:16:43) Allah. (1:16:44) So... (1:16:46) Which verse are we in now? (1:16:48) Chapter 3, the disbelievers. (1:16:51) Are they waiting for the angels to come to them? (1:16:53) Or until your Lord's judgment comes to pass? (1:16:56) Those before them did the same thing. (1:16:58) God is not the one who wronged them. (1:17:00) They are the ones who wronged themselves. (1:17:02) What are they waiting for? (1:17:05) But in our case, there's that fantastic miracle from the Quran. (1:17:09) What are they waiting for? (1:17:11) And God keeps threatening it. (1:17:13) Are they waiting for angels to come to them? (1:17:17) So at the end of the verse, we see that God is not the one who wronged them. (1:17:20) They are the ones who wronged themselves. (1:17:23) Therefore, they incurred the consequences of their evil works, and the very thing they ridiculed came back to haunt them. (1:17:31) Yes. (1:17:34) The people who witnessed the miracle of the Quran, boy, you're going to be in bad shape at the hereafter. (1:17:39) You're going to come back and haunt you. (1:17:43) The term of execution, verse 35. (1:17:46) The idol worshippers say, Had God willed, we would not have worshipped any idols besides Him. (1:17:51) Nor would our parents. (1:17:52) Nor would we have prohibited anything besides what was prohibited by Him. (1:17:58) Those before them have done the same. (1:18:01) Can the messengers do anything but deliver the message? (1:18:04) Now this is a very important verse. (1:18:05) I'm going to stop here and share with you some real life experiences. (1:18:12) This statement is said by many idol worshippers, but I want to specifically, something that we all know, the prohibition, the dietary prohibition, as far as the Muhammadans are concerned, they have a list of prohibitions, that is very funny, to say the least. (1:18:32) We are taught throughout the Quran, when you have prohibited something, God will not prohibit it. (1:18:36) When you have another God who prohibited that for you, it is idol worship. (1:18:40) Prohibition of items that are not prohibited by God, is idol worship. (1:18:46) Surah 6. (1:18:48) So simply, you have some other God who prohibited that for you. (1:18:53) And just like the addition of other things, that God did not thank Him. (1:18:59) For example, in wudu, God gave us four states. (1:19:01) If you have nine states, some other God gave you five states. (1:19:06) Which means you go to any ma'at, go to any ma'at in the world and ask them how do they do their wudu, they give you nine states. (1:19:13) God gave us four states. (1:19:14) Read forward, very clear, in surah 5, verse 6, in the Quran. (1:19:19) So who gave them the other five states? (1:19:21) Some other God. (1:19:24) Who is, by their definition, the Prophet Muhammad, against his will. (1:19:28) They think, they say, this is how the Prophet did the wudu. (1:19:31) Well, this came out of the Prophet's mouth. (1:19:34) The Prophet taught you four states. (1:19:37) So in effect, they are accusing the Prophet of disobeying God. (1:19:42) God said, here is how you do your wudu. (1:19:44) Wash your face, arms to the elbows, wash your hair, wash your teeth. (1:19:48) Four states. (1:19:50) So they added five. (1:19:52) That's another God. (1:19:53) God said there are four needs prohibited. (1:19:57) Fourth, animals revive themselves without human interference, running blood, animals dedicated to others than God. (1:20:05) These are the four. (1:20:07) So, but they have a list of other foods. (1:20:13) You cannot buy milk with vitamin D3 added in. (1:20:16) How did they get this D3 thing? (1:20:20) I think they are threatened to imply I'm a big pig or something. (1:20:23) Idiot. (1:20:24) This is what they say. (1:20:25) You know, I'll tell you something. (1:20:26) But you have to read the ingredients of the milk, how much rice, vitamin D4, D5. (1:20:30) If it is D4, you can drink it. (1:20:32) If it's D3, you cannot drink it. Speaker 4 (1:20:33) In the mosque, they have a list of items, of products that you cannot use, including certain toothpastes. (1:20:43) Hushpuppies. (1:20:43) And hushpuppies. (1:20:44) And this and that. (1:20:45) A whole bunch of things that they get directly from the Jews. (1:20:50) Hushpuppies. (1:20:51) Directly from the Jews, from the rabbis in New York. (1:20:54) In fact, it says so, but they cut things. Speaker 1 (1:20:56) You cannot use ivory soap. (1:20:59) It doesn't taste good. Speaker 2 (1:21:04) Yes, sir. (1:21:08) Yes. (1:21:14) Yes. (1:21:26) Uh-uh, uh-uh. Speaker 1 (1:21:27) No. (1:21:28) Do not eat meat that's dedicated to others than God. (1:21:33) You're going to add things to it without even knowing. (1:21:38) You said we cannot eat meat that's not dedicated to God. (1:21:42) No, that's not the truth. (1:21:43) That's not true. (1:21:44) No, God is not dedicated to meat. (1:21:48) Right. (1:21:48) But it must not be dedicated to others than God. (1:21:51) You have to hear what God is saying in the Quran. (1:21:53) So you do not eat meat that is dedicated to Jesus, or Muhammad, or Ali, or Imam Reza. (1:22:00) Or anybody else. (1:22:02) Yeah, I know. (1:22:02) I'm just naming names so you can know what it is. Speaker 5 (1:22:17) 2237. Speaker 1 (1:22:22) No, it's not. (1:22:25) Oh, this is... (1:22:30) The animal offerings were included in God's ritual for your own good. (1:22:34) We shall mention God's name on them while they are standing in line. (1:22:38) We shall eat therefrom and feed the poor and the needy. (1:22:42) This is why we have subdued them for you, that you may show your appreciation. (1:22:46) This has to do specifically with the Hajj sacrifices. (1:22:49) However, you are required, and I am required, to mention the name of God if we are sacrificing animals. (1:22:55) But what you're doing is you're getting permission from the creator of this animal. (1:22:59) Imam Reza is not the creator of this animal, or Jesus. (1:23:03) You cannot mention, dedicate this animal, or sacrifice it in the name of other than God. (1:23:09) Because God is the only creator of this animal. (1:23:12) So this is true, this is a commandment. (1:23:14) You cannot sacrifice an animal without mentioning the name of God. (1:23:18) But eating is something else. (1:23:22) Eating, specifically, are four, and repeated in the Quran three or four times. (1:23:30) Perfectly alright. (1:23:31) Well, let us go to the safeway market, okay? (1:23:33) We go to the safeway market, we stand at the meat counters. (1:23:37) Here is some meat in front of us. (1:23:39) You ask the pork, the pork question. (1:23:41) Is it pork? (1:23:43) You answer me. (1:23:44) Is it, did they buy it without human interference? (1:23:49) Is it running blood? (1:23:51) Was it dedicated to Jesus, or anybody else? (1:23:56) Then it is okay. (1:23:59) But before you eat it, you mention the name of God. Speaker 5 (1:24:02) Before you eat it. (1:24:03) But it is not just the meat. (1:24:05) Before you eat anything, even an apple. Speaker 1 (1:24:10) Yes, an apple or egg. (1:24:12) God says, do not eat from that upon which the name of God is not mentioned. (1:24:17) And this means eggs and apples, bread, as it seems. (1:24:22) Is that okay? (1:24:28) Okay, we are standing now in the safeway market in front of the meat counters. (1:24:35) Oh, there is something that says, Do you know Arabic well? (1:24:42) Do not eat from that upon which the name of God was not mentioned. (1:24:48) Now, I like to generalize this to everything, like eggs and apples and bread, anything, right? (1:24:57) In other words, God gives us another excuse to commemorate him and meditate on his name. (1:25:02) You say Bismillah and you eat. (1:25:04) Before you eat. Speaker 2 (1:25:13) Yes, they do not say the name of Allah. Speaker 1 (1:25:16) Yes. (1:25:18) Yes, you say the name of Allah. (1:25:20) You say it. Speaker 4 (1:25:22) Before you eat it. Speaker 1 (1:25:27) The four categories. (1:25:30) It is not one of the four categories. (1:25:32) If it is dedicated to Jesus, you cannot eat it. (1:25:35) Or to anybody else. (1:25:37) But the fact is, in Canada, they never dedicate it to anybody. (1:25:41) So it is not one of the four prohibitions. (1:25:43) So when you eat, you say Bismillah and you eat. (1:25:51) But if you are sacrificing the animal yourself, a sheep or a cow or a chicken, you have to say Bismillah Allahu akbar. (1:26:02) Do you ever sacrifice an animal, a chicken, yourself? (1:26:06) Pardon? (1:26:10) Okay, when you do, then you are required, commanded by God to say the name of God. (1:26:14) Right. (1:26:16) But you go to the market and you ask these four questions. (1:26:22) So the prohibition of ivory soap or Colgate toothpaste or any of those things, or some other God, it is a confession of idol worship. (1:26:32) In the Sari mosque. (1:26:33) Or any other mosque. (1:26:42) Okay, like what? (1:26:42) Eating pork? Speaker 2 (1:26:43) No, no, no. (1:26:48) See, but the sin of that person will be on the whoever taught it, those mindsets. Speaker 1 (1:27:10) However, as soon as they find out that God has forced it, they are supposed to stop everything else. (1:27:15) Because God emphasizes here, in Surah 2 and Surah 31, that when they are told, follow these revelations of God, they say, we are going to follow what our parents taught us. (1:27:27) And they are going to hell. (1:27:28) And that is precisely what happens. (1:27:30) Yes, yes. (1:27:30) So, but a person who is heading for heaven instead of hell will say, is this what God says? (1:27:36) You say, yes, okay, then I am going to do four steps. (1:27:38) This is what we did. Speaker 3 (1:27:39) Correct. Speaker 1 (1:27:40) And this applies to anything else. (1:27:42) As soon as you find out what God is saying, you drop whatever your parents taught you. (1:27:47) For example, our parents taught us to say Muhammad Ali Muhammad Ibrahim Ali Ibrahim in the prayer. (1:27:52) We find out in the prayer, God says, don't mention anybody's name except the name of God. (1:27:57) Then you immediately drop that without hesitation, if you are fortunate. (1:28:01) But if you insist on following your parents' footsteps, let us see what happens in Surah 37. (1:28:07) I will come back to you, Shahnaz, just a second. (1:28:10) Surah 37, I will give you the verse number right now. (1:28:32) They found our parents astray. (1:28:34) Where is that verse? (1:28:36) 69, thank you. (1:28:40) Yes, they followed their parents blindly. (1:28:42) Verse 69 says, they found their parents astray and blindly followed their footsteps. (1:28:49) So this is what the majority of Muhammadans do, unfortunately. Speaker 5 (1:28:55) This is what we did for a long time. (1:28:57) You tell them this is what the Quran says, and they start arguing to rationalize why they do the nine steps. Speaker 1 (1:29:03) Yes, this is what God says. (1:29:05) When they are told, follow these revelations of God, they say, we follow what our parents did. Speaker 4 (1:29:10) Yes, I will tell you the reason why you have halal meat. (1:29:19) It's a lot of money. (1:29:21) It's more expensive than the four of wands. (1:29:24) Yes, very expensive. Speaker 1 (1:29:26) By the way, this is a true story. (1:29:27) There was a butcher in London. (1:29:29) And every day, every day, somebody would walk in and say, do you have halal meat? (1:29:33) He says no, so they leave.
