(0:01) And we're familiar with the big verses in the middle, but the one at the bottom says, (0:06) they insist upon following conjecture when the guidance is given to them herein from their Lord. (0:14) If you remember the definition of Qur'an at the beginning of surah number two, (0:18) it's defined as Huda, guidance. And this is exactly the word used here. (0:26) We have physical proof that Qur'an is from God, but they don't have any shred of evidence (0:32) that the hadith was even authored by Muhammad. Obeying the Messenger's condition, (0:41) this is the one where it's told that they do not disobey you when you are right. (0:54) This is the verse that says, if anything good happens to you, it is from God, (0:59) and if anything bad happens to you, oh Muhammad, this is specifically to Muhammad. (1:04) If anything bad happens to you, it is from you. (1:25) So the personal opinion of Muhammad may be bad, and may cause bad things to happen. (1:30) On the other hand, Muhammad, the Messenger, utters the word of God, that is the Qur'an, (1:36) and must be obeyed absolutely. For whoever obeys the Messenger is obeying God. (1:41) And we are to obey the commandments of God, not the commandments of men. (1:47) This is the verse where Muhammad's adopted son divorced his wife. (1:53) And Muhammad was ordered to marry the divorced wife of his adopted son in order to establish a precedent. (2:03) It is perfectly all right for a man to marry the divorced wife of his adopted son, not his genetic son. (2:09) But the Prophet Muhammad didn't want to do it because it was contrary to the traditions of Arabia at the time. (2:15) He was afraid of the people instead of fearing God. (2:22) And this is the famous surah entitled, ... . (2:26) I don't think God would want us to neglect the poor person because he is poor, (2:30) or give our attention to the rich person because he is rich. (2:33) That is not a behavior to be imitated. (2:37) And I don't think the Prophet would want us to do that either. (2:40) So this is Quranic proof that we are not to follow the sunnah. (2:45) Sunnah means imitation of the Prophet. (2:58) This surah simply rules out the business of hadith and sunnah as sources of religious instruction. (3:09) Idolization of Muhammad. (3:14) This is the verse where Muhammad is described as a human being like you. (3:21) And like you is repeated in the other verse. (3:24) Like you, a human being like you. (3:27) You can be right and you can be wrong. (3:29) Muhammad can be right, you can be wrong. (3:33) You are not really a complete, devoted believer unless you realize that you can be equal to or better than Muhammad. (3:41) Or Jesus or Moses or anybody. (3:43) They are all human beings like you. (3:47) And you are capable of being like them or better than them. (3:50) Now a statement like this would make their hair stand up. (3:54) This is how it is idol worship. (3:58) It is not that they can be equal to or better than Muhammad or Moses or Jesus. (4:03) But any human being can be equal to them or better than them. (4:08) Surah 4, there is a verse in surah 4 that says, (4:11) if you simply follow what God says, you are going to be with all the prophets. (4:19) You are equal to them. (4:21) This is the other verse that says, Muhammad is a human being like you. (4:25) And both verses end by saying, do not fall in idol worship. (4:58) Tomorrow Inshallah I will give you a copy of the book that was being doubted today. (5:04) It was just copies. (5:08) Okay, abuse of Quran. (5:13) This verse says, God and his angels make salat on the prophet. (5:17) Now I put the translation right there, encourage the prophet. (5:21) All you who believe, you too shall encourage him and support him completely. (5:30) This is about the most abused verse in Quran. (5:33) Because they have at least a hundred hadiths that say, (5:39) if you say Allahumma salli ala Muhammad a thousand times a day for I don't know how long, (5:44) you are guaranteed heaven. (5:47) You will never go to hell. (5:48) So you can do anything you want after that. (5:51) You can quit your prayer. (5:54) You don't have to fast or nothing. (5:56) If you do it proudly, you don't have time for anything. (6:00) Yeah, really. (6:03) And they do it. People do it. (6:04) Who doesn't want to guarantee him? (6:11) At the bottom of the page is the verse that says, (6:14) God and his angels do exactly the same thing to every single believer, not just the prophet. (6:19) So they take that one out of context. (6:24) And it is used all over the Muslim world to praise the glory of Muhammad day and night. (6:30) Literally. (6:32) Right after the morning prayer and after the night prayer. (6:35) Every day. (6:36) They do a few hundred of those. (6:39) And we keep getting books called Durood Sharif. (6:42) They give you all different forms of salat on the prophet. (6:46) And at the end of the book they say, (6:47) if you make a hundred copies of this book and distribute it to a hundred friends, (6:50) then you are like a chain letter. (6:53) That's why we keep getting them in the mail. (6:56) They go straight to the government files. (7:02) This verse is also abused. In the prophet, (7:05) The message of God is a good example for you. (7:08) And we say, of course it is a good example for us. (7:10) His example is to follow the Quran. (7:16) And nothing but Quran, that's his example. (7:18) Now the same words are applied to Ibrahim. (7:22) Word for word. What about Musa? (7:23) Not word for word. (7:24) No, but not word for word. (7:28) But this is a good example. (7:31) Right. (7:34) I take that verse at the bottom of the page because as far as Ibrahim is concerned, (7:39) the very same words are used for Ibrahim, but they don't mention Ibrahim. (7:45) They apply it only to Muhammad. (7:52) Does God hate Muhammad? (7:54) Of course not. (7:56) But when you repeat the same things that God says about Muhammad in Quran, (8:01) they accuse you of hating Muhammad. (8:03) I remember a standoff that I had with a friend of mine in Libya, (8:09) where I told him, did the prophet frown and turn away from the poor man and give his attention to the rich man or not? (8:15) And he wouldn't answer me. (8:17) They just refused to acknowledge that source. (8:21) And we stood there for a half hour waiting for him to answer us. (8:27) Did he frown or not? (8:36) So when you say the same things that God says about Muhammad, (8:39) they tell you, you hate Muhammad. (8:40) You are a hater of the Prophet. (8:43) Muhammad cannot guide anyone. (8:45) This verse in surah 28 says, (8:48) You, Muhammad, cannot guide even the ones you love. (8:53) God is the one who guides whomever he wills. (8:55) And this makes sense because God knows the deep conviction of everyone, (9:01) and he knows who is worthy of guidance and who is not. (9:08) The true love of Muhammad. (9:10) The true love of Jesus is to recognize him as a human being and the messenger of God. (9:16) The Christians love Jesus so much, yet he will disown them on the Day of Judgment. (9:21) The true love of Muhammad is to recognize him as a human and to follow his teachings. (9:27) That is, of all Quran, there is nothing but Quran. (9:30) Those who follow Hadith and Sunnah are named as Muhammad's enemies. (9:34) And Muhammad will disown them on the Day of Judgment. (9:37) So, the Muslims are not any smarter than the Christians. (9:42) Why should they be? (9:43) They are all human beings. (9:45) This verse refers to the Day of Judgment. (9:49) On the Day of Judgment, the messenger of Muhammad will say, (9:52) My Lord, my people have deserted this Quran. (9:55) We thus set up against every Prophet's enemy. (9:58) From among the guilty, your Lord suffices as a guide and supporter. (10:04) Please note the word-for-word similarity between verse 31 above and verse 112 of Surah 6, (10:10) where it says, We set off against every Prophet to subjugate fancy words. (10:15) to mislead the people. (10:19) God is the one who created you. (10:20) God is the one who provides for you. (10:22) God is the one who terminates your life. (10:24) God is the one who resurrects you. (10:26) God is the one who causes your death. (10:28) Muhammad does none of these things. (10:30) That is Surah 30. (10:49) Say, O Muhammad, I do not bring anything new that is different from any other messenger. (10:54) I have no idea what will happen to me or to you. (10:57) I simply follow what is revealed to me. (10:59) I am no more than a manifest warning. (11:02) The next verse says, (11:03) Say, O Muhammad, I possess no power to benefit or harm even myself, except in accordance with God's will. (11:11) Nor do I know the future. (11:12) Had I known the future, I would have increased my wealth, and no harm would have afflicted me. (11:18) I am no more than a warner, as well as bearer of good news for those who believe. (11:23) Yet, you are going to see the hadith in the next page. (11:31) Muhammad does not know the future. (11:32) Yet, hundreds of hadith narrate future events that have nothing to do with Quran (11:37) and represent personal predictions. (11:41) One of the most prominent hadith is shown below. (11:43) This is the hadith of established Sunnah. (11:45) It says, Hold on to my Sunnah and the Sunnah of the guided Khalifas after me. (11:54) Yeah, that doesn't count me. (12:01) I oppose that, as you can tell. (12:08) Now, the expression, the guided Khalifas, was not used until a hundred years after the Prophet had died. (12:14) It doesn't take much intelligence to realize that this hadith is false (12:19) and could not have been said by the Prophet. (12:22) First of all, how did he know he would have successors after him? (12:26) And how did he know that they would become Khulifa-Rashadin, the guided Khalifas?
