30) Quran Study: Sura 28 & Sura 57, 45:33
Study From Parivash 330, Sura 28 & Sura 57, Insurance With God, Sura 45:33 Rashad Was Told To...
Speaker 1 (0:01) الرحیم الرحمن الله بسم الرجیم الشیطان من با أعوذ And to establish them on earth and to give fear of Haman and their troops attest to their suffering they have inflicted upon others. (0:16) This verse has to do with God supporting the oppressed. (0:25) This is the divine law that we see in verse 5, just before that. (0:33) So God helps the oppressed. (0:37) We wish to make it up to those who were oppressed on earth. (0:41) And to turn them into dignified people and make them the inheritors. (0:47) And to establish them on earth and to give fear of Haman and their troops attest to the suffering they have inflicted upon others. (0:55) They were enslaving the children of Israel. (1:00) Now you remember Joseph? (1:04) Joseph was picked up from the well, taken to Egypt. (1:08) Later he became the treasurer. (1:10) And he was the man in charge of all the food for the whole world actually, because the whole world was in the Middle East, excluding China, that area. (1:21) This was the most active area in the world. (1:25) And people were coming to him from everywhere, including his own family. (1:32) And then he played that trick where they put the king's cup and his brother's goods. (1:41) They kept his small brother and then finally he told them who he was and asked them to bring his family to Egypt. (1:51) That was in Joseph's time. (1:52) Now his family was who? (1:54) His father, Israel, and his mother and his 11 brothers. (2:00) And that was the beginning of the children of Israel in Egypt. (2:03) So they came, they were dignified, he raised, he hosted his family in the mansion. (2:14) It was a very important terror in Egypt. (2:17) Now this history, this surah, is 300-400 years after Joseph. (2:27) And the children of Israel had multiplied and they became slaves of the Egyptians. (2:32) They looked different just by virtue of their look and their race. (2:42) The Egyptians became racist and used them as slaves. (2:49) Built the pyramids, do the hard work. (2:53) So God feeds for the oppressed and makes it up to them. (2:59) It's just a quick glance at the history of Israel. (3:06) And it actually reflects the greatness of the Quran because there are many such complicated stories in the Quran and they flow perfectly without a flaw, of course. (3:18) And I really appreciate this because I tried to write the story of the Quran starting with a spaceship that had six astronauts and three robots. (3:33) Just nine figures. (3:35) And they were supposed to fly at the speed of light and fashion the speed of light and witness things. (3:43) And I was putting the story of the Quran this way. (3:48) But I could not keep track of the six people and three robots. (3:56) I had the toughest time keeping track of who is whom and which robot does what. (4:04) Because I just had a control room and everyone had a duty to do. (4:08) Six humans and three robots. (4:10) Did I say nine humans? (4:12) I can't even keep track of numbers. (4:16) Six humans. (4:18) When this officer is in charge of navigation and this one is the captain and this one is that and this robot does this, I could not keep track of my thing. (4:27) Six humans and three robots. (4:30) And the Quran has hundreds of people and God keeps track of every one of them without a single mistake. (4:38) So after all the reviews and everything, if I look back, I see that they mix the robot, who's doing what, thinking. (4:45) So these stories were scattered throughout the Quran but they are perfect. (4:53) Confidence in God, number seven. (4:55) We inspired Moses' mother. (4:57) Nurse him and when you fear for his life, throw him into the river. (5:01) Does this make sense? (5:05) When it comes to God, yes. (5:08) I interrupted in the middle of the verse because this is one of the most incredible stories. (5:13) And it must teach us the subtitle, confidence in God. (5:19) I mean how can you fear for your children when you are with God? (5:23) You don't fear for your children at all. (5:28) It's a piece of cake raising children. (5:32) And again God is teaching all of us through my experience. (5:39) God gave me a boy and a girl so we can have the two kinds. (5:43) And when they are in God's hand, you don't worry one bit, one minute. (5:47) And you see, God will let you know that they are in his hand. (5:51) And will let you know that they are protected. (5:54) If you worry, you are not a strong believer. (5:57) You are not a good enough believer to worry. (6:01) You don't have confidence in God. (6:03) Of course this depends on you. (6:05) I mean you better be solidly with God. (6:07) Then you will have that confidence and you will not worry about your children. (6:11) You can be out in the streets riding a bicycle or something, but God can't. (6:19) So here God is telling Moses' mother, if you worry about him, throw him in the river. (6:23) Who ever heard of this? (6:25) You get a basket, put a baby in there. (6:27) Can you imagine Samarukh throwing Safar in the river? (6:33) Yeah, I mean it's enough to bring it to our mind. (6:46) When he is on his own, yeah, after he grew up, they have to make their own decisions. Speaker 3 (6:51) You are not responsible for them. Speaker 1 (7:01) They make their own decisions. (7:02) I am tempted here to give an example of my own life also. (7:15) When I was in charge of Sammy until he was what, 21? (7:21) Until he got to 21, I took him all the way to the top. (7:24) Maybe I shouldn't say God. (7:28) He made it to the middle of me. (7:30) The peak of his career is hitting the home run in Dodger Stadium. (7:35) And on that day, I had a discussion. (7:40) He is young, of course, and he is entitled to his young ideas. (7:45) So I think he made a fatal statement where I told him to thank God. (7:53) In fact, he was playing with the computer here, and the words that came in front of him, I think he was sitting there, said, the more you thank me, the more I give you. (8:01) That was the subject that I told him. (8:03) I said, thank God. (8:03) Some of them were guided, while many were wicked. (8:09) Deterioration of religion. (8:10) Subsequent to them, we sent our messengers. (8:12) We sent Jesus, the son of Mary, and we gave him the Injil, and we placed in the hearts of his followers kindness and mercy. (8:20) But they invented hermetism, which we never decreed for them. (8:24) All we asked them to do was to uphold the commandments approved by God. (8:29) But they did not uphold the message as they should have. (8:32) Consequently, we gave those who believed among them their recompense, while many of them were wicked. (8:39) All you who believe, you shall reverence God and believe in his messengers. (8:44) He will then grant you double the reward from his mercy. (8:50) Endow you with the light to guide you and forgive you. (8:54) God is forgiver, most merciful. (8:56) Thus the followers of previous scriptures should know that they have no monopoly. (9:02) They have not monopolized God's mercy and grace, and that all grace is in God's hand. (9:07) He bestows it upon whomever he wills. (9:10) God is possessor of infinite grace. (9:16) Yes, the same. (9:18) Yes. (9:23) And it is surah 57. (9:25) And it just repeats over and over, believing in God and his messengers. (9:31) Very relevant to our time. (10:23) He did not know his children. (10:27) Abdulaziz el Saoud. (10:28) And this is in our lifetime, in my lifetime, excuse me. Speaker 3 (10:33) In my lifetime, Abdulaziz el Saoud did not know his children, of course. Speaker 1 (10:47) And everyone was doing the same thing. (10:52) No, no, no. Speaker 3 (10:52) Yes, they were. Speaker 1 (10:57) There was a much higher proportion of women than men. (11:00) Because if you have a society of 200 men and 1 woman, you will still have 1 baby every year. (11:08) But it was the other way around. (11:11) No, no, the proportion of women was much higher and the lifespan was much longer. (11:17) And the neighbors used to go to Noah and ask for allowance, take advantage of the fact. (11:26) That's a joke, isn't it? Speaker 3 (11:28) That's a joke. Speaker 9 (11:30) I'm sure it happened. Speaker 1 (11:33) Here comes a 10-year-old kid. (11:34) Dad, give me my allowance. (11:38) Who are you? (11:39) I'm your son. (11:40) You sure? Speaker 10 (11:41) Yes. Speaker 9 (11:42) OK. Speaker 1 (11:43) And he's the neighbor's kid. (11:48) Anyway, we know about the one who went bad. (11:50) So that's not bad at all. (11:52) This will not happen to us, inshallah. (11:54) Because we have 2 dreams. (11:59) I'm positive that God will assign to our homes only good souls. (12:04) This is a whole new era. (12:06) And we have to keep in perspective what time on earth it was. (12:11) So that was a deep slide. (12:17) Your children are in God's hands. (12:22) OK, back to number 7. (12:24) We inspired Moses' mother, nurse him, and when you fear for his life, throw him into the river without fear or grief. (12:30) We will return him to you, and we will make him one of the messengers. (12:38) This is an example of God letting a human being know the future. (12:45) Throughout the Quran, you know that God picks out whomever he wills to give him future information. (12:51) And Moses' mother was one of them. (12:53) Number 8, Pharaoh's family picked him up. (12:58) I mean, when a basket is flowing in the river, it can land anywhere. (13:02) The possibility of the basket landing at Pharaoh's palace is one in a billion. (13:13) This shows you God's control of the minutest detail in the world. (13:17) Pharaoh's family picked him up only to have him lead the opposition and to be a source of grief for them. (13:25) That is because Pharaoh, Haman, and their troops were transgressors. (13:29) Inside the lion's den, Pharaoh's wife said, This can be a joyous find for me and you. (13:36) Do not kill him. (13:38) He may benefit us, or we may adopt him to be our son. (13:43) They had no idea. (13:44) So you can see that Pharaoh's wife was a plant. (13:47) God planted her in the Pharaoh's palace. (13:52) He assigned that soul to that place at that time just to make this statement. (13:57) Don't kill him. (13:59) It's okay. (14:00) The whole life is complicated. (14:03) It is computerized by God to fit the circumstances. (14:07) Fit in this way. (14:09) Of course, we know that Pharaoh's wife was a fantastic believer. (14:13) Right? (14:14) If you look at the end of surah 66, I think it is 66. (14:27) Is it 65? (14:29) Oh, this is 67. (14:33) Yes, number 11, page 561. (14:37) And God cites as an example of those who believe the wife of Pharaoh. (14:41) She said, My Lord, build a home for me at you in Paradise. (14:46) And save me from Pharaoh and his works. (14:48) Save me from the transgressing people. (14:50) So she is one of the top believers. (14:52) And she was in the home of the worst, just about the worst creature in history, Pharaoh. (15:00) Who said, I am your God. (15:04) That's how bad he was. (15:06) But she was one of the top believers. (15:08) And God blessed her there for this particular, I mean, one of the reasons. (15:14) So she said, Do not kill him. (15:17) He may benefit us or we may adopt him to be our son. (15:21) They had no idea. (15:22) The baby obviously looked Hebrew. (15:23) But God controls the mind and the heart of everyone, including Pharaoh. (15:30) The mind of Moses' mother was growing so anxious that she almost gave away his identity. (15:35) She couldn't stand it anymore. (15:38) But we strengthened her heart to make her a believer. (15:44) She said to his sister, Trace his path. (15:46) She watched him from afar. (15:48) While they did not perceive, the infant returned to his mother. (15:54) Number 12 says, We forbade him from accepting all the nursing mothers. (15:59) His sister then said, I can show you a family that can raise him and take good care of him. (16:05) So his sister was watching from afar. (16:06) And when she saw the commotion, there was a baby screaming. (16:10) I mean, he wasn't very popular. (16:12) But Pharaoh's wife was trying to convince her husband to keep him. (16:19) It was a commotion. (16:21) And his sister volunteered the information. (16:24) Number 13, Thus we restored him to his mother. (16:33) He was a hungry baby. (16:34) He would not nurse from just any woman. (16:42) What a plot. (16:44) A divine plot. (16:48) Thus we restored him to his mother in order to please her, remove her worries, and to let her know that God promises the truth. (16:56) However, most of them do not know. (16:59) God promises the truth. (17:01) God promises you what you read yesterday, that he will make you a king or queen on earth if you are with him. (17:09) God is the one who runs everything, all the minute details. (17:12) He is the one who hires and fires and provides. (17:17) Number 14, When he reached maturity and strength, we endowed him with wisdom and knowledge. (17:22) We thus reward the righteous. (17:26) Moses commits manslaughter. (17:30) Once he entered the city unexpectedly without being recognized by the people. (17:34) He found two men fighting. (17:36) One was a Hebrew from his people and the other was an Egyptian from his enemies. (17:42) The one from his people called on him for help against his enemy. (17:46) Moses punched him, killing him. (17:48) He said, This is the work of the devil. (17:51) He is an enemy and a profound misleader. (17:56) Of course, the man who died did not die without God's permission. (17:59) We have the law in surah 3. (18:02) No one dies without God's personal order. (18:09) The angels do not know when anybody will die. (18:11) Only God knows and decides. (18:15) So, God computerized it so this man will die at this moment. (18:19) As Moses punched him. (18:21) Why? (18:22) So Moses will leave, will go meet Joshua and marry his daughter and be away from Egypt for a while and then go back to, in spite of his crime, to go back to Egypt and ask Pharaoh to believe. (18:37) So you can see God's plan. (18:41) Something that looks bad, but it's really very good. (18:45) And this, similarly, Joshua's prison was like a school. (18:49) He worked in a school and he graduated prime minister. (18:54) It's not bad. Speaker 3 (18:55) Yes. (19:05) This is Moses as a leader among the children of Israel. Speaker 1 (19:25) He left the palace when he was a prince. (19:29) You can imagine him coming out of the palace in a chariot and going to the city. (19:35) He grew up because the king adopted him. (19:40) He sacrificed all this because of a Hebrew who was fighting with an idiot. (19:45) So it's a very good point. (19:46) So this is preparation for his leadership. (19:49) When he goes back and says, Did you come with me? (19:52) They follow him. (19:52) He's a hero. (19:54) The making of a hero. (19:56) MashaAllah. (19:58) 16. (19:58) He said, My Lord, I have wronged my soul. (20:01) Please forgive me. (20:02) And he forgave him. (20:03) He is the forgiver most merciful. (20:05) So this will fall under the law, the Quranic law, that you may dislike something when it is good for you or you may like something which is bad for you. (20:14) The moral is, you must submit to God totally, completely. (20:17) Whatever is happening, you have to know that it is for your own good. (20:22) If you're a believer, then whatever is happening is for your own good. (20:29) 17. (20:31) I think we've got to stop here. (20:39) We're supposed to go have breakfast. (20:46) Why don't you go ahead? (20:49) Lisa, do you want to help her find something? (20:52) Lisa's not working today. (20:58) We'll see you, MashaAllah, at noon? Speaker 8 (20:59) I have a lot. Speaker 1 (21:00) For the noon prayer? (21:02) Great. (21:03) Have a great morning. (21:08) This reads 17. (21:11) He said, My Lord, in return for your blessings upon me, I will never be a supporter of the guilty ones. (21:17) In the morning, he was in the city, afraid and watchful. (21:22) He didn't know if his crime had been exposed or not. (21:25) The one who sought his help the day before is a troublemaker, and he asked him for help again. (21:31) Moses said to him, You're really a troublemaker. (21:34) Then he was fighting again with an Egyptian, and his name was Waqili. (21:40) Moses' crime exposed. (21:44) Number 19. (21:47) We know somebody called Waqili, and he fights with anything that comes in his way. (21:53) God shows us examples of everything. (21:58) Moses' crime exposed. (21:59) Number 19. (22:00) Before he attempted to strike the common enemy, he said, O Moses, do you want to kill me like you killed the other man yesterday? (22:09) Obviously you wish to be a tyrant on earth. (22:11) You do not wish to be righteous. (22:15) So this tells us that now everybody knows that he killed an Egyptian. (22:20) A man came running from the other side of the city, saying, O Moses, the people are plotting to kill you. (22:25) You better leave immediately. (22:27) I'm giving you good advice. (22:29) He fled the city, afraid and watchful. (22:31) He said, My lord, save me from the oppressive people. (22:36) Of course we know the rest of this. (22:37) This led to his marriage. (22:41) He returned to Egypt as a hero with God. Speaker 4 (22:49) Yeah, that was an accident. Speaker 1 (22:56) Actually, he didn't kill him. (22:57) God killed him. (23:00) Everything was timed. (23:05) We know about Moses. (23:07) He was half-tempered, and he was physically very... (23:20) This is a simple history, but there are so many lessons that we learn from it. (23:26) God's power illustrated everything. (23:33) Behrouz, you're here. (23:34) You're home. (23:39) He was shaking his head. (23:40) We will come and visit him now. (23:50) There's one more reason for them to come and visit you, sir. (24:31) But it happened because he was speaking with God. (24:34) And it's a natural curiosity in that situation. (24:38) I thought I would take a few hours invisible. (24:41) Then I would want to see you. (24:43) So it wasn't in the conversation. (24:47) But the children really wanted to see God, but it was a totally different issue. (24:51) It was out of defiance. (24:53) We will not believe unless we see God physically. (24:56) But the situation with Moses was different. Speaker 3 (24:58) He was telling people. Speaker 1 (24:59) Moses was in the conversation. (25:02) He said, My lord, let me see you. (25:06) My lord, let me see you. (25:18) Right. Speaker 3 (25:19) Right. Speaker 1 (25:21) This was the ultimate defiance. (25:24) That's what they did. (25:31) No, no, no, no. (25:35) The Seventy men went to apologize. (25:39) This was back in the camp. (25:41) They were all in Sinai, and they thought they would not believe unless we see God physically. (25:44) So they died. (25:47) Because God showed them a little bit. (25:50) And they died. (25:52) And God revived them. (25:55) One of the incidents in the Quran where God revived the dead. (25:59) But with Moses, this was done actually. (26:01) It was a complete right to teach us that this earth cannot stand the presence of God. (26:05) Because God wiped out the mountains. (26:10) It was a fact. (26:11) God manifested himself to the mountains. (26:13) And the mountains shattered. (26:16) And Moses fell unconscious. (26:18) And when he came to, the first thing he did, Subhanak. (26:23) I apologize. (26:24) Sorry. (26:28) I'm ignorant. Speaker 4 (26:32) His intention was like Ibrahim. (26:34) Exactly. Speaker 1 (26:39) I mean, there's no more belief than that. (26:41) He's actually speaking of God. (26:57) Please stay where you are. (26:58) I'll be back in one minute. (27:12) Those who believed in God and his messengers are the saints and martyrs. (27:19) Wow. (27:20) 540. (27:22) The page number is 540. Speaker 4 (27:33) Yes. (27:35) This is quite a statement. Speaker 1 (27:37) Yes. (27:38) This is quite a statement here. (27:40) It says, those who believe in God and his messengers are the saints and martyrs. (27:46) And all of a sudden it fits with the new information that we got. (27:50) That the righteous go straight to heaven. (27:52) They do not die. (27:54) Remember the verse that says, do not say about the martyrs that they are dead. (27:59) Wow. (28:01) The martyrs are not only the people who die in battle, fighting. (28:05) People who die believing in God and his messengers are the saints and the martyrs. (28:11) Reserve for them their Lord, their reward, and their life. (28:17) And for those who disbelieve and rejected our revelation, they have incurred hell. (28:22) Preoccupation with this life condemns. (28:26) Know that this worthy life is no more than play and games and boating among you and hoarding of money and children. (28:33) It is like abundant rain that produces chance and pleases the disbelievers. (28:38) But then the plants turn into useless hay and are blown away by the wind. (28:45) In the hereafter, there is either severe retribution or forgiveness from God and approval. (28:51) This worldly life is no more than a temporary illusion. (28:57) The intelligent alternative. (28:58) Therefore, you shall raise toward forgiveness from your Lord and a paradise whose width encompasses the heaven and the earth. (29:08) It awaits those who believe in God and his messengers. (29:11) See, this fits with the first line that we read. (29:16) The same paradise where Adam and Eve lived. (29:18) It awaits each and every righteous person when he or she departs from this world. (29:25) To me, this is very exciting news and we were very excited. (29:30) I was so excited that in the same day I printed that tape that you got in the mail and I mailed it. (29:36) Did you get two of them? (29:39) I sent one to your house and one to Batroul. (29:42) You're the only one I sent two copies to. (29:47) I figured that if you get the two of them, you can always pass it on to somebody. (29:54) But I immediately sized it and sent it. (29:57) And of course, this was crucial because I don't know if Princess Amir Ali knows this or not, but my mother passed away a few days after that. (30:05) Right after that, it was fantastic news. (30:08) It's like God was telling me, assuring me, because I knew all along that she was a believer. (30:13) So when she passed away and they were reading, telling me on the other end of the line, I said, wow, alhamdulillah, mashallah. (30:22) What's wrong with him? (30:31) She went to a wonderful location in Hawaii or something and she's waiting for us until we get there. (30:42) And these verses came immediately after that to confirm. (30:50) I'm telling you, it's wonderful because I experienced this. (30:53) I know exactly how it feels. (30:56) Obviously, this is where I went when I met all the prophets. (30:59) This is where I went. (31:11) I just called the peri-verse in my office to listen to some Quran by Sheikh Al-Banna, my favorite disciple. (31:17) And of course, he cried. (31:21) Because it's all beautiful, mainly. (31:23) Not just because he's a good believer. (31:25) But this is what I was doing when I experienced that. (31:31) I let me call it right of sex, which is not zahid. (31:34) I was listening to Sheikh Al-Banna. (31:37) Now, what condition were you in when you were listening to Al-Banna? (31:40) When you were listening to Al-Banna now? (31:43) What condition were you in when you were listening to Sheikh Al-Banna in there? (31:47) When I called you in to listen to the Quran? (31:51) What condition were you in? Speaker 4 (31:52) How did you feel? Speaker 1 (31:56) Right. (31:58) It's a state of ecstasy. (32:01) This is how I felt when all of a sudden I was up there. (32:05) This is exactly equivalent to the death of the righteous. (32:09) And you were not sleeping? (32:11) No, no. (32:12) I will not sleep when Sheikh Al-Banna is reciting. (32:16) You see, God taught me a few things through that experience. (32:22) First of all, I'm a person who does not know what I ate yesterday, or even what day was it yesterday. (32:28) What day is it today? (32:32) What day is it today? (32:34) Tuesday. (32:35) It's very difficult for me to remember what I did last Thursday, or what day it was. (32:40) I'm very bad with remembering days. (32:42) But God did it in such a way that I know the day, the date, the time, and that I was awake. (32:52) Because I will never sleep when Sheikh Al-Banna is reciting. (32:54) He reads only for half an hour, 6 o'clock in the morning, every Tuesday. (32:58) All his life, this is what he did. (33:00) All the other reciters in Egypt, the time slot changed, but not Sheikh Al-Banna. (33:06) He only read 6 o'clock in the morning every Tuesday from Cairo Radio. Speaker 12 (33:10) He was listening to the radio? Speaker 1 (33:14) Yes. Speaker 12 (33:15) I thought you were reciting it. Speaker 1 (33:16) No, no, I was listening, so I... (33:18) After we placed the camera, then I came with my parents. (33:24) And then I flew into Cairo. (33:26) So I know the time, 6 o'clock in the morning. (33:29) So Sheikh Al-Banna, so I never go to sleep. (33:33) And he was reading Surah Al-Rahman. (33:35) So I was in a state of ecstasy. (33:39) And my brother was recording it. (33:41) At that very moment, my brother Atif was recording it in Egypt. (33:46) So I have a record of it. Speaker 9 (33:48) How long did it take? Speaker 1 (33:49) I didn't miss it. (33:51) Because when I came back, I knew that Atif recorded it. Speaker 4 (33:56) You knew the date and the year? Speaker 1 (33:57) I know the date. (33:58) Well, the day was Tuesday. (34:00) I know the date was December 21st, because my parents and my sister spent only one Tuesday in Mecca. (34:05) And it was December 21st. (34:07) And I know Dhul-Hijjah 3. (34:10) So, I mean, I know the lunar date, the solar date, the time. Speaker 12 (34:13) Is it 1971? Speaker 1 (34:15) Yes, December 21st, 1971. (34:26) So, November was Thursday. (34:29) Dhul-Hijjah was in December. (34:38) If it's Ramadan, then it was October, yes. (34:45) Yes, it's December. Speaker 13 (34:47) That's right. Speaker 1 (34:49) Of course, December 21st was Dhul-Hijjah 3. (34:55) So it could have been the beginning of November. Speaker 5 (34:59) How many Earth minutes went by? Speaker 1 (35:00) It was the end of December, but the beginning of Dhul-Hijjah. Speaker 5 (35:04) Pardon? (35:05) How much time went by on Earth when you came back? Speaker 9 (35:08) About one hour. Speaker 5 (35:12) Did you feel you were there for quite a while? (35:16) Did you feel you were there for quite a while? Speaker 1 (35:18) Yes, it was quite an elaborate introduction. (35:23) It was quite a procession of people going this way. Speaker 5 (35:27) And they were all from it. Speaker 4 (35:34) I didn't count. (35:36) Do you remember any scene of it, or was it quite good? Speaker 1 (35:39) It was very sharp. (35:41) The consciousness was sharper than what we're doing now. (35:50) I saw the persons. (35:50) I didn't see surroundings. (35:53) And God showed them to me in their worldly looks, what they're dressed like here in this world. Speaker 12 (35:58) They all look different in their faces. Speaker 1 (36:00) Oh yes, they all look different. (36:01) I was taken aback by Abraham's resemblance to my family. (36:05) Wow, who's this guy? (36:06) He looks like us. (36:08) It was all in my mind, and the answer came in my mind also. (36:11) This is Abraham. Speaker 9 (36:11) Was there nothing for you to see? (36:13) Pardon? (36:15) Was there nothing for you to see? Speaker 1 (36:17) Not much, no. (36:18) It was only long robes and turbans. (36:21) Beards. (36:25) No, they were all around. Speaker 12 (36:25) I think you could say some looked young, and some looked old. Speaker 1 (36:27) They looked about the same age. (36:29) 19. (36:30) About 40. (36:32) About 40, yes. (36:34) I mean if I'm asked how old do you think this guy is, I'll say 40. (36:45) Intriguing subject, but it came up because of this. (36:48) The death of Christ is righteous, and I'm passing on to you that it's a wonderful experience. Speaker 3 (36:53) Azar, you know, said that December is going to be the 19th year of death. (37:01) Yes, the 19th. (37:02) And he thinks something is going to happen. Speaker 1 (37:04) I definitely think so. (37:06) The way this official translation is going, even with the editors, something is... Speaker 13 (37:17) Even Ceaușescu is dead. Speaker 1 (37:20) Something is happening at the world level. (37:27) 21. (37:28) Therefore, you shall race toward forgiveness from your Lord, and a paradise whose width encompasses the heavens and the earth. (37:36) The word race is mild, it's too mild. (37:42) In other words, God is telling us, if you are righteous, heaven awaits you. (37:46) You don't die. (37:47) You just go there with this wonderful experience and fantastic property. (37:51) The width of the heavens and the earth is a huge place. (37:53) And you have mansions and great things. (37:58) So, you shall race, meaning you shall compete very hard. (38:02) You shall insist and work hard toward forgiveness from your Lord and a paradise whose width encompasses the heavens and the earth. (38:11) It awaits those who believe in God and His messengers. (38:15) Such is God's grace that He bestows upon whomever He wills. (38:19) God is possessor of infinite grace. (38:23) Allahu Dhul-Fadlul-Azim. (38:24) It's a very special name. (38:28) Because the grammatical value of Dhul-Fadlul-Azim is the same as the number of the words Allah in the whole surah. (38:34) So, we think there is something special about it. (38:37) Dhul-Fadlul-Azim. (38:42) Profound facts. (38:45) Anything that happens on earth or to you has already been recorded, even before the creation. (38:50) This is easy for God to do. (38:52) And we are taught the reason. (38:55) Why is God telling us this? (38:58) We are taught the reason in 23. (39:00) Thus, you should not grieve over anything you miss, nor be proud of anything He has bestowed upon you. (39:06) God does not love those who are boastful and proud. (39:12) Yes. (39:13) Exactly. (39:16) You have an even key. (39:17) Nothing bothers you. Speaker 3 (39:21) If you become very happy that you gain something, you lose it. (39:30) Yes. Speaker 13 (39:30) Everything. Speaker 3 (39:31) Yes, exactly. (39:34) You become sorry as much as you pay. Speaker 1 (39:39) There is a mechanism for this. (39:41) If you love anything too much, then Satan will say, Aha! (39:44) Let me tell God that if you take this thing from him, or from her, he or she will bless him against you. Speaker 8 (39:51) What is too much? Speaker 1 (39:57) If you are going to do anything, keep that. (40:05) If you do anything, you will do anything to keep it. (40:11) Then Satan feels that if you have given a choice between this thing and God, you will choose the thing. (40:19) So, if you come even close to that, Satan will make that claim. (40:23) And God will grant him his wish. (40:27) God will say, Okay, go ahead and take it. (40:28) And of course, the person passes the test, God makes it up twice as much, many times after that. Speaker 6 (40:38) By coming to God and praying to God. Speaker 1 (40:40) Right. (40:51) Remember the verses in Surah 7 where God says, People pray, Please God give us a good baby. (40:58) Then as soon as God gives them a good baby, they forget the trial. (41:02) The baby becomes preoccupied with the baby. (41:04) And the baby becomes God. (41:08) They don't do the trial, they don't... (41:11) I mean, I know people who actually did that. (41:14) They become so busy with the baby. (41:17) And the baby runs their life. (41:20) If the baby causes people to stop going to the Quranic study, or going to the Fajr prayer, or... (41:26) Then this is too much. (41:28) This has to be quit. (41:33) Ahem. Speaker 13 (41:35) Wow. (41:44) But there have to be criteria. (41:51) Yes. Speaker 1 (41:54) We have a time for adoption here. (42:00) Yes, exactly, yes. (42:16) I have to go to the last line of verse 23, because it continues into 24. (42:20) It says, God does not love those who are boastful, proud. (42:24) They are stingy and enjoy the people to be stingy. (42:27) If one turns away, then God is rich. (42:30) The praiseworthy. (42:34) The footnote for 57.22 says, We are absolutely free to side with God or with Satan. (42:40) God happens to know precisely what kind of decision each of us will make. (42:45) The videotape of your life from birth to death is already recorded. (42:49) So it's a matter of being a submitter or objector. (42:53) Anything that happens in our life, we just submit and say, Okay God, is this what you want? (43:18) It's what we'll make. (43:20) The videotape of your life from birth to death is already recorded. (43:24) So it's a matter of being a submitter or objector. (43:29) Anything that happens in our life, we just submit and say, Okay God, is this what you want? (43:32) I accept it cheerfully. (43:34) I'm the lion, cheerfully. (43:37) No matter what happens. (43:39) Iron, the most useful metal. (43:47) There's an iron isomer that is 57. (43:50) The atomic weight is 57. (43:56) The most useful metal. (43:58) We sent our messengers, supported by clear proof. (44:01) And we sent down to them the scripture and the law, that the people may uphold justice. (44:07) And we sent down the iron, wherein there is strength and many benefits for the people. (44:13) All this in order for God to distinguish those who would support him and his messengers on faith. (44:19) God is powerful, almighty. (44:23) On faith is a very difficult word to translate. (44:27) In Arabic it's bilghay. (44:29) And I'm always torn between translating it as on faith or when in privacy. (44:37) When is there privacy? (44:41) There are people who are in this mosque and they say, We believe your God's messengers. (44:45) But they will not profess that outside. (44:48) They're afraid that the people may ridicule them. (44:51) They will hesitate to say it. (44:55) So bilghay applies here. (44:57) That even outside, even away from here, or in their privacy, they have no qualms or hesitation about saying, We believe Rasab Khalifa is God's messenger. (45:09) And we have the evidence if you want to examine it. (45:18) It's very significant that God did all this in order for God to distinguish those who would support him and his messengers, even in their privacy. (45:27) God is powerful, almighty. (45:32) Because it's easy if we are here in a crowd that all of us believe in a certain way, we can profess that. (45:37) It's easy because everyone around us is doing the same thing. (45:41) But outside, do you really maintain that belief or what? Speaker 9 (45:48) Yes. Speaker 3 (45:58) Yes. Speaker 1 (46:02) Yes. (46:04) Yes, that too. (46:05) Because God can also be absent. (46:07) Right. Speaker 5 (46:08) He's not present. (46:09) He's absent. (46:15) In their absence. Speaker 9 (46:16) In their absence? (46:17) Yes. (46:18) God is not never absent. Speaker 1 (46:22) Like I said, when we're out of here, is this something that we maintain continuously or is it just a fulfillment of being in the same crowd that we believe in? Speaker 5 (46:32) Like, you know, for example, the first thing one should do is accept that it doesn't matter. (46:38) And then even if it doesn't make sense, intellectually. (46:42) So first you accept it on faith, right? Speaker 1 (46:44) Right. Speaker 5 (46:45) So maybe I could go back there too, right? Speaker 1 (46:50) Yes, it's a decision that the person makes. (46:54) We look at the evidence, we decide Rasab Khalifa is a messenger of God, whatever the decision, either way. (47:00) It's one or the other. (47:04) You know, it's both of them. (47:07) It will be one of them for some time and the other one for some other time. Speaker 5 (47:11) So isn't this also in a sense, like when you use on faith, imply that if the messenger said something, you first accept it, and then logically, you know, like the party, you know? Speaker 1 (47:21) Yes. Speaker 5 (47:21) First accept it, on faith, because you know he's the messenger, so on faith you accept it. Speaker 1 (47:25) You accept it, then you believe that it is true. Speaker 5 (47:27) Right. Speaker 1 (47:27) There are only three choices, actually. (47:30) You believe that this is true, this is God's truth, I believe it. (47:34) Or I reject it. (47:35) Or I'm neutral, I have to study the evidence first. Speaker 4 (47:41) OK, well, then show them the evidence. Speaker 1 (47:56) Show them the evidence. (47:57) Here's the evidence. (47:58) Now what's the reason for rejecting? (48:02) You have to accept it or reject it. (48:03) Here's the evidence. (48:06) See, the evidence is not arguable, because it's all physical. (48:12) I didn't, for example, write in the booklet, before I was born, Rashadah 19 times. (48:17) For example, when you add the verses in the surahs, it's a lot of 19, and it goes on and on. (48:26) So they're all physical facts. (48:28) I didn't say, in my opinion, the root word, Rashadah, occurs in the Quran 19 times. Speaker 4 (48:31) Yeah, but it happens, but they, you see that they accept it, but they accept it on faith. Speaker 5 (48:58) On faith. (48:59) Rather than, you know, and then later on, you know, maybe the reason may come later on. (49:05) But just because they don't understand it right away, they don't reject it. Speaker 3 (49:09) What's the reason of faith? (49:14) The reason must be different. (49:16) For example, in church. (49:36) That's on faith. Speaker 1 (49:37) What's the matter? (49:38) You're saying, worship God alone? (49:39) Afford the word of God alone? (49:41) Forget the dead saints and prophets? Speaker 3 (49:42) Oh, because of the believers that are around, and all. (50:02) Around him, and how they say, get together, dead people. Speaker 1 (50:12) The simplest form is given in the Bible, as you can judge the sea by its fruit. Speaker 3 (50:17) Yes, oh good. Speaker 1 (50:18) Yeah. (50:29) Yes, this is a word, Bilghayb, in Arabic. (50:33) I always don't know exactly how to translate it, what is the best word. Speaker 3 (50:49) I went through the military service, and I come home. (50:53) When I think that the test is over, and everything is okay, my father came very heavy on me. (51:01) Very heavy. (51:04) It was so heavy, because I know the commandment says that, you know, you have to respect them. (51:11) It was coming out so heavy, that the phone rang. (51:14) Guess who was calling. (51:15) Rashad was on the phone, I burst into tears. (51:18) This is God. (51:19) You know, when you said, in absence, you know, I was like, I was getting so frustrated. (51:25) He's coming, you know, a chance. (51:27) He's coming on, and on, and all of a sudden the phone rings. (51:30) My mother answers it, and it says, it's for you. (51:33) I said, Alhamdulillah, what a relief. Speaker 1 (51:36) That was the first time. Speaker 3 (51:37) Yes, Alhamdulillah. (51:39) Then I burst into tears. (51:40) You know, this is so special that, you know, that we live in Quran. (51:44) When you said absence, that just brought back to my, you know. Speaker 1 (51:48) That's the slowest point in Turkish. Speaker 9 (51:50) Slowest. Speaker 6 (52:06) And one day, though, I got really frustrated, and they were yelling at me. (52:31) We had a few. (52:33) We had to close the, you know, the whole thing. (53:00) Do your work. (53:01) The one that was giving me the most difficulty, I said, Khalifa, it was your fire. Speaker 9 (53:10) It was like, no, Khalifa, Khalifa. Speaker 1 (53:22) The guy who hit me had it, too. (53:24) I had the trust of God. (53:50) What I want you to do is get the date of that accident. (53:54) Get the date of the accident. (53:56) You're going to find it November 25th, 1985. (54:00) Which is, and the hour, 1230 in the afternoon. (54:04) This is, that was the minute I became eligible for pension from the tip of my tongue. (54:10) And that was the last time I ever worked for this work. (54:16) If you go back to that time, I was told, I'm telling you, I mean, I confess. (54:21) I was told in advance, you must quit. (54:23) You have to quit this work. (54:25) Give all the time to the message. (54:27) I said, come on, how would I eat? (54:30) In fact, I was given six weeks, six weeks without pay. (54:36) About two months before that, just two months before that. (54:40) Yes. (54:41) And during the six weeks without pay, somehow my account in the bank was better than ever. (54:46) I was afraid to ask them, how did this happen? (54:50) And I was telling Ahsan, don't ask, don't ask. (54:55) In other words, yes, God was telling me, you're going to be better off devoting all your time to me alone. (55:04) Okay, so if you check that file and look at the action, it was November 25th. (55:08) Because, I have to tell you what the law is, the state of Arizona. (55:13) The state of Arizona, you're eligible for pension. (55:17) On the seventh day after your 50th birthday. Speaker 8 (55:23) The seventh day after my birthday. Speaker 9 (55:27) Yes, fifty and seven, yes. Speaker 1 (55:30) If you work for the state more than five years. (55:34) Oh my gosh, that was exactly five years. (55:36) Because I started in 1985, 1980. (55:42) And that was exactly five years. (55:44) And that was the minute, not the day, the minute. (55:48) Because I worked half the day of Monday. (55:52) So it was the minute I became eligible and I was making a turn into my work. (55:57) And the accident was right at my work. (56:00) The gate, the gate that says University of Arizona Agricultural Experiment Station. (56:05) And I'm turning into that gate and this guy ran red lights and hit me. (56:09) Put me in the hospital. (56:10) No more work. (56:11) That was the last time I ever saw that train. (56:16) Funny thing how she brought this up. (56:20) God did not stop it at all. (56:24) God didn't wait a week, or two days, or ten minutes. (56:57) No, not unless they're fighting you. (57:00) Who's making the noise? (57:04) If they're not fighting you, you have to go along with them. (57:07) But discuss it with them logically. (57:09) Now, Vicky is saying that they accept the golden translation. (57:12) Do they accept the miracle? Speaker 8 (57:14) Yes, they do. (57:15) They accept the miracle of nineteen. (57:39) Yeah, but you have to discuss it with them logically. Speaker 1 (57:44) Batool has a very simple question for them, which is... (57:49) Yeah, I remember what he told me, but he forgot. (57:53) How do you prove that I'm God's messenger? (57:57) He had a very simple statement that you mentioned when I was in your house last night. (58:03) Why did he find the nineteen, the miracle of nineteen? (58:05) How do you explain that? Speaker 2 (58:18) The evils of their works will become obvious to them, and the very things they mocked will come back to haunt them. (58:26) It will be proclaimed, today we forget you, just as you forgot the meeting of this day. (58:31) Your abode is the hellfire, and you will have no helpers, terrified. (58:38) This is because you mocked and ridiculed God's revelations, and were preoccupied with the first life. (58:46) Consequently, they will never exit therefrom, nor will they be excused. (58:50) To God belongs all praise, Lord of the heavens, Lord of the earth, Lord of the universe. (58:55) To Him belongs all supremacy in the heavens and the earth. (58:59) He is the Almighty, Most Wise. (59:02) In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful, Ha-Amin. (59:05) The revelation of this scripture is from God, the Almighty, the Wise. (59:09) We did not create the heavens and the earth, and everything between them, except for a specific purpose, and for a finite interim. (59:17) Those who disbelieve are totally oblivious to the warnings. (59:21) Say, consider the idols you set up besides God. (59:25) Show me, what on earth did they create? (59:28) Do they own part of the heavens? (59:31) Show me any other scripture or any piece of knowledge that supports your idolatry. (59:38) The idols are totally unaware. (59:41) Who is farther astray than those who idolize, besides God, idols that can never respond to them until the day of resurrection, and are totally unaware of their worship? (59:50) This is what most Sunnis and Shia's do. (59:58) The next page, the idols disown their worshippers. (1:00:02) And when the people are summoned on the day of judgment, their idols will become their enemies, and will denounce their idolatry. (1:00:10) When our revelations were recited to them clearly, those who disbelieved said of the truth that came to them, this is obviously magic. (1:00:19) So we are talking about idol worshippers who idolize people, because we are told in verse 6, when the people are summoned on the day of judgment, their idols will become their enemies, and will denounce their idolatry. (1:00:32) So Ali will have to denounce all the Shia's, and Muhammad denounces all the Muslims. (1:00:47) Yes. (1:00:52) Muhammad and Ali are the same people. Speaker 11 (1:01:00) Then they disowned them. Speaker 2 (1:01:03) They never knew about you. (1:01:06) Now, these people, these particular people, when our revelations were recited to them clearly, that is worship God alone, uphold the word of God alone, the creed is La ilaha illallah, those who disbelieved say to the truth that comes to them, this is obviously magic. (1:01:23) When they say, he fabricated this, say, if I fabricated this, then you cannot protect me from God. (1:01:30) He is fully aware of everything you scheme. (1:01:32) He suffices as a witness between me and you. (1:01:37) He is the forgiver, most merciful. (1:01:41) When you apply this to me personally, I notice always when it says, say, it is already said. (1:01:48) I always tell them, if I am a liar, then this is my problem. (1:01:51) What am I telling you? (1:01:52) I am telling you worship God alone, and uphold the word of God alone. (1:01:56) So if I am lying to you, this is my problem. (1:01:59) But as far as you are concerned, you can benefit from the truth, if it is truthful, and you can benefit from the message. (1:02:07) If I am a liar, it is my problem, not yours. (1:02:10) Say, I am not different from other messengers. (1:02:12) I have no idea what will happen to me or to you. (1:02:15) I only follow what is revealed to me. (1:02:17) I am no more than a profound warner. (1:02:22) Say, what if it is from God and you disbelieved in it? (1:02:27) A witness from the children of Israel has borne witness to a similar phenomenon. (1:02:34) So, look at the footnote here. (1:02:38) Text 10. (1:02:39) This witness is Rabbi Judah the Pious, 11th century AD, who discovered the same 19-based mathematical code and intact fragments of the scriptures in appendix 1. (1:02:49) So obviously, number 9, say here, refers to our generation. (1:02:56) I am not different from other messengers. (1:02:58) I have no idea what will happen to me or to you. (1:03:04) Say, what if it is from God and you disbelieved in it? (1:03:07) A witness from the children of Israel has borne witness to a similar phenomenon. (1:03:11) And he has believed while you have turned arrogant. (1:03:14) Surely, God does not believe the written people. (1:03:17) Rabbi Judah the Pious is undoubtedly a believer when you read his writings. (1:03:20) God alone, in fact, is a strict scripturist, just like we are. (1:03:26) Number 11. (1:03:27) Those who disbelieved said about those who believed, If it were anything good, they would not have preceded us to it. (1:03:35) Because they were not guided thereby, they said, this is an old fabrication. (1:03:43) Number 12. (1:03:44) Before this, the book of Moses provided guidance and mercy. (1:03:47) And this is a confirming Arabic scripture to warn those who transgress and to give good news to the righteous. (1:03:54) Good news. (1:03:55) Surely, those who said, Our Lord is God and led a righteous life will have no fear nor will they grieve. (1:04:01) Sounds familiar? (1:04:03) Number 14. (1:04:05) They have deserved paradise where they abide forever. (1:04:08) Any questions? Speaker 11 (1:04:41) I told them something, but I did not reach you. (1:04:48) You did not reach the proof. Speaker 2 (1:04:51) These people, if they come and see the proof, I give them the proof, I give them the message. (1:04:56) And they say, and they do not believe, they are going to hell. (1:05:00) If there are believers who are included here, they readily accept everything. Speaker 11 (1:05:11) Jesus after Moses. (1:05:21) And they still say, No, we do not believe. Speaker 2 (1:05:25) This is for people who do not know. (1:05:28) They are in the middle of the jungle, they do not know anything about Quran or anything else. (1:05:31) But anytime you show them the Quran, they will believe it. (1:05:34) If you find nothing objectionable, yes. (1:05:35) If you show them any proof from God, they accept it. (1:05:38) See, God will guide them. (1:06:15) It never refers to Jesus. (1:06:25) Jesus is not considered one of the children of Israel in the Quran. (1:06:31) He is considered the vanguard of a new movement, of a whole new religion. (1:06:42) If it was Jesus, God would have said, Jesus is a born witness. (1:06:47) We would not call Jesus one of the children of Israel. Speaker 10 (1:06:50) Is there a particular relevance at the time? (1:07:08) No. Speaker 2 (1:07:09) It is just one of the things that were to become obvious later. (1:07:17) A witness from among the children of Israel born witness to something like it. (1:07:23) But Jesus did not bear witness to something like the Quran. (1:07:25) It is totally different. (1:07:28) There is no question that it is the result of the pious. (1:07:38) OK. Speaker 1 (1:07:39) In the name of God most gracious most merciful. (1:07:43) This was an excellent brief presentation of the perpetual miracles that God sent to us that is to be witnessed by anybody in any place at any time. (1:07:59) Anybody in Tokyo, Japan can open this and witness the miracle. (1:08:04) This mathematically coded book. (1:08:07) This is the original idea. (1:08:10) I have to take you back a few years, a few centuries actually, where the realization came first that God spoke to us in mathematics. (1:08:20) It was about 900 years ago when a Jewish rabbi discovered this number 19 in the intact remnants of the scriptures. (1:08:32) Specifically in the prayer that was given to them through Abraham. (1:08:38) Just like our namaz came through Abraham. (1:08:41) What happened about 900 years ago was that the Jews in France added a short statement to their morning prayer which was, Blessed are those who follow the righteous path. (1:08:56) They just added this seemingly harmless statement. (1:09:00) Rabbi Judah the pious who was living at that time just wrote a barrage of literature in huge volumes as to why this short statement would destroy what he called the divine rhythm or the key that calls contact between us and God. (1:09:23) And he showed that the number 19 is the basis of the scriptures and the language of God is speaking to us that it is the key to the word of God. (1:09:34) And they have it reproduced here in the appendix. (1:09:42) Actually Rabbi Judah the pious, I think some of you know this, he's actually mentioned in the Quran. (1:09:49) Surah 46 verse 10. (1:09:57) He reproduced part of his writing about him on page 636 of this book. (1:10:07) Now I'm quoting from a book entitled Studies in Jewish Mysticism. (1:10:11) It says the people, Jews in France made it a custom to add in the morning prayer the word Ashra'it in the name of the Lord which means the blessed are those who walk the righteous way. (1:10:23) And our Rabbi the pious of blessed memory wrote that they were completely and utterly wrong. (1:10:29) It is all God's fault because there are only 19 times, now notice the number 19. (1:10:35) There are only 19 times that the holy name is mentioned in that portion of the morning prayer. (1:10:40) And similarly you find the word Elohim which means God, 19 times in the very code of the English Emor. (1:10:48) Similarly you find that Israel were called sons 19 times and there are many other examples. (1:10:55) Now listen to this, all these sets of 19 are intricately intertwined and they contain many secrets and esoteric meanings which are contained in more than 8 large volumes. (1:11:07) Furthermore in this section there are 152 words that's 19 times 8 and 46 tenths is it 46 tenths or 42 tenths? (1:11:21) maybe 42 tenths it is not 46 tenths yes yes, 46 tenths I say what if it is from God this Quran, what if it is from God and you disbelieve in it a witness from the children of Israel has borne witness to a similar phenomenon and I believe that this verse refers to Rabbi Judah Repise because if you read his writing he is really a believer. (1:11:52) So (1:11:53) what I would like to say is that the number 19 has been always the key (1:12:01) has always been the key in God's writings (1:12:05) and one of the strange statements of (1:12:08) Galileo was that mathematics is the language with which (1:12:10) God created the universe (1:12:13) that was a statement by Galileo (1:12:18) and we come to realize now (1:12:20) that in nature the number 19 also (1:12:22) maybe God's signature (1:12:26) is evident in God's creation (1:12:28) the sun, the moon and the earth line up in the same position every 19 years (1:12:33) and you can see this in detail again (1:12:35) if you go to the library and look at the Jewish (1:12:36) calendar, in the Jewish encyclopedia (1:12:38) under calendar you will see this because they have to adjust the calendar (1:12:42) once every 19 years (1:12:44) the human body has 209 bones (1:12:47) which is 19 times 11 (1:12:51) the human fetus is now established that (1:12:53) a full term embryo (1:12:57) is in the mother's womb 266 days (1:13:00) 19 times 14 (1:13:02) and this is not 167 (1:13:04) and you see this in the textbooks in medical schools (1:13:09) so obviously (1:13:10) God puts his stamp on everything including the Quran (1:13:13) the Quran is the only scripture that is intact (1:13:16) and this is where we have the system intact (1:13:19) as Behrouz shared (1:13:22) with you some of these phenomena Speaker 3 (1:13:29) maybe you can Speaker 1 (1:13:30) if you sit over there you can see (1:13:46) just these numbers here (1:13:48) will convince anybody that this is not a human made book (1:13:52) this top number (1:13:55) I'm going to repeat because Behrouz went through it a little bit (1:13:58) too fast, this number here (1:14:01) is the number of digits (1:14:03) if you write every verse in the Quran (1:14:06) the number of every verse, for example the first surah (1:14:09) is 7 verses, so you write 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 (1:14:12) the next surah is 286 verses (1:14:15) so you write next to that 1, 2, 3, 4 all the way to 286 (1:14:19) and so on all the way to the end of the Quran (1:14:21) so we'll talk about the physical structure of this book (1:14:26) every verse in the Quran (1:14:27) you just write the number, you end up with a long number (1:14:29) which we have hanging in the wall at Masjid Susan (1:14:32) and the number of digits is 12,692 (1:14:36) this number is a multiple of 19, this is the number of digits (1:14:39) in the long number which takes about 3 pages (1:14:42) printed by the computer (1:14:44) and the long number itself is also a multiple of 19 (1:14:48) so this confirms the physical structure (1:14:51) of the book, how many surahs and how many verses in every surah (1:14:56) this number here is the number of verses in the Quran (1:15:01) you just look at this book (1:15:03) the first surah is 7 verses, second surah is 286 verses (1:15:05) third surah is 200 verses, you add these numbers to come up with this number (1:15:08) 6, 3, 4, 6, which is also a multiple of 19 (1:15:12) the number of surahs of course is 114 (1:15:14) which is 19 times 6 (1:15:17) the first verse which is very famous, Bismillahirrahmanirrahim (1:15:20) is 19 letters (1:15:25) 2698, this is the number of the word God (1:15:28) in the Quran (1:15:29) the word Allah from the beginning to the end (1:15:34) 2698, a multiple of 19 (1:15:39) and (1:15:41) considering how the Quran is revealed to the Prophet Muhammad (1:15:44) separated in time and place (1:15:47) it is really incredible (1:15:48) in fact when we were working on this book (1:15:51) we had about 6 college graduates (1:15:55) including one PhD (1:15:57) and we had so much difficulty just keeping track of the word God (1:16:00) we made so many mistakes in doing this (1:16:04) and (1:16:08) the book of course (1:16:09) confirms itself, because if you notice, if you open this book (1:16:12) any of you who has it, you will see in English (1:16:14) on any page, you will see in English that the word God is written in capital bold letters (1:16:19) so anyone can easily verify this (1:16:21) and the number of these, the word God is written on every page (1:16:26) so you can look at any page (1:16:28) and confirm that it is 6 times (1:16:31) this page here, page 97 (1:16:33) has 6 words Allah in it (1:16:36) and you can do this randomly on any page (1:16:39) and make sure that this count is correct (1:16:42) and you go to the end of the book and you see that the word God is a multiple of 19 (1:16:48) 19 times 142 (1:16:51) this number here (1:16:53) is the sum of all the numbers mentioned in the Quran (1:16:56) without repetition (1:16:58) there are 30 numbers mentioned in the Quran (1:17:02) 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 (1:17:05) 8, 9, 10, 11, 19, 20, 30 (1:17:08) 40, 50, 60, 70, 80 (1:17:11) 99, 100, 200, 300, 400 (1:17:14) 500, 600, 700 (1:17:17) not 700, 500 (1:17:20) 3,000, 5,000, 50,000 and 100 (1:17:23) and you add them up you get this total (1:17:26) 162, 146 which is a multiple of 19 (1:17:29) now you notice these are physical facts (1:17:33) nobody is saying, in my opinion (1:17:35) the total of the numbers in the Quran is 162, 140 (1:17:39) it is a physical fact Speaker 7 (1:17:39) is the Quran different? (1:17:47) no, there is only one version (1:17:49) there hasn't been any contest as to (1:17:55) no denomination (1:17:58) no (1:18:00) just like in Christianity (1:18:02) the Bible has different versions (1:18:06) there has been different versions Speaker 1 (1:18:10) but the Quran is only one version (1:18:12) so this is a physical fact (1:18:18) it is nobody's opinion (1:18:21) all you need to do is find the numbers (1:18:24) in the Quran and add them up (1:18:25) if they don't add up to a multiple of 19 (1:18:27) then the whole thing collapses and the subject is over (1:18:30) but this has been in existence for 20 years now (1:18:33) and it has been scrutinized (1:18:36) this research has been scrutinized more than any research in the history of humanity (1:18:41) because back home they looked at all these numbers (1:18:44) trying to find any errors (1:18:46) it has been confirmed and reconfirmed that these are physical facts (1:18:50) this number here (1:18:52) is the total of the verses wherever the word of God is mentioned (1:18:56) the word of Allah is mentioned (1:18:57) and this is really and truly awesome (1:19:01) because again, if you have a copy of this (1:19:03) just open it at random anywhere and see the word of God (1:19:07) I opened page 259 (1:19:09) if you have this and I can tell you what's in it (1:19:14) in page 259 you see verses 25 to 33 (1:19:18) in surah 14 (1:19:19) and you notice that the word of God, Allah (1:19:22) is mentioned in verse 25 (1:19:24) verse 27 has 3 of them (1:19:27) verse 26 has 0, verse 28 has 1 (1:19:31) verse 29 has 0, verse 30 has 1 (1:19:35) 31 has 0 (1:19:37) and 32 has 1 and 33 has 0 (1:19:40) so in this (1:19:42) there are 3 words of Allah in verse 27 (1:19:45) but we only add 27 (1:19:46) so we add 25 plus 27 plus 28 (1:19:51) plus 30 plus 32 (1:19:54) we add only the verses wherever the word of Allah is mentioned (1:19:57) whether it is 1 time or 10 times (1:20:00) and this is the total in the whole Qur'an (1:20:03) it is 118123 which is also multiple lines (1:20:06) so all these phenomena (1:20:11) defy coincidence (1:20:12) or defy human (1:20:16) manufacture and you immediately (1:20:18) realize that (1:20:20) we have in our hand God's message to you (1:20:24) you have full confidence because this is the age of computers (1:20:28) people have been demanding tangible evidence (1:20:30) now we have tangible evidence that this is God speaking to us (1:20:33) and not any human being trying to fool us (1:20:37) ok now that the book has proven the physical evidence (1:20:41) we have confidence that this is God speaking to us (1:20:44) it is not any human being with (1:20:47) shortcomings of human beings (1:20:50) and in the book we have answers to these questions (1:20:53) and we know that God is speaking to us (1:20:55) God is telling us, He created us and He is telling us where we came from (1:20:58) He is telling us why we are here on this earth (1:21:01) and He is telling us where we go from here (1:21:04) and (1:21:07) like the Qur'an says, none can tell you this like (1:21:11) the expert, one of the names of God (1:21:13) Khabir (1:21:16) none can tell you these things like the expert (1:21:19) God is the supreme expert (1:21:23) so now I will try to share with you (1:21:26) what God tells us about these questions (1:21:30) where did we come from (1:21:37) do you have some markers Speaker 7 (1:21:40) oh yes, thank you Speaker 1 (1:22:01) why are we searching for these questions (1:22:03) where did we come from (1:22:08) we learned from Qur'an that we are here, we have no recollection of our previous (1:22:13) past (1:22:14) but we were all in God's kingdom (1:22:16) you can think of us as angels, we used to be angels (1:22:19) in God's kingdom (1:22:21) so if I draw a line representing all the creatures in God's kingdom (1:22:25) billions of years ago (1:22:27) and this includes you and me, billions of years ago (1:22:30) it is very clear in the Qur'an that we existed in the past (1:22:34) for example in surah 7 verse 143 (1:22:36) God says I gathered all of you, all the descendants of Adam (1:22:39) and I had you bear witness that I alone am your Lord (1:22:43) God tells us that (1:22:44) but we don't have any recollection of this, we don't remember standing before God and saying (1:22:48) you bear witness you are our Lord (1:22:52) so the Qur'an teaches us we don't have any (1:22:55) remembrance of that, and this is one of the (1:22:57) purposes of us being here (1:22:59) is to come into an existence where we do not remember the past (1:23:02) and start, have a fresh start (1:23:06) then we are given two messages (1:23:08) one message from God and one message from Satan (1:23:12) and we are supposed to freely (1:23:14) make a choice, God gave us the freedom to choose (1:23:17) you can choose either one of them, either God's message or Satan's message (1:23:24) as you know (1:23:25) I'm going to interrupt to get to what God is telling us (1:23:29) in the middle of the subject (1:23:31) in the middle of the subject Adam and Eve were in heaven (1:23:34) and God gave them a message (1:23:36) this is because all of us I'm sure know this (1:23:39) but God gave Adam and Eve a message, He said you are in paradise (1:23:42) you can enjoy anything you want but not this tree (1:23:45) don't come close to this tree, that was God's message to Adam and Eve (1:23:49) and they stayed in heaven God knows how long (1:23:51) maybe thousands, maybe millions of years (1:23:55) but the point is for as long as (1:23:57) they respected God's commandment (1:24:00) God's law they stayed there (1:24:03) and then most of you know (1:24:05) Satan went to them and said leave from this tree (1:24:11) so now they have two messages (1:24:14) hi Rashi how are you (1:24:23) Adam and Eve were in heaven (1:24:25) in paradise or heaven (1:24:27) and they had a message from God telling them (1:24:31) do not eat from this tree and they had a message from Satan (1:24:33) saying eat from this tree (1:24:35) for as long as they obeyed God's message they stayed in heaven (1:24:40) once they listened to Satan they were kicked out of heaven (1:24:44) and this is what brought us here (1:24:46) I mean (1:24:48) as a second coming to this world (1:24:52) not the initial, this is not the original sin (1:24:54) eating from the tree is not the original sin as believed in the previous scriptures (1:24:59) so this slide (1:25:01) is representing all of God's creatures including you and me (1:25:05) and these creatures of God (1:25:07) have different responsibilities, different assignments of work (1:25:12) and depending on (1:25:13) their duties they have different powers (1:25:17) for example if somebody assigns (1:25:19) to you something to do in New York (1:25:22) your company says you must go to New York and do something and come back (1:25:25) they will give you a ticket to get on a plane, fly to New York (1:25:28) do the job and come back (1:25:29) this is some power given to you (1:25:32) so God's creatures have different powers (1:25:36) one of the most powerful creatures (1:25:38) not the most powerful creature, one of the most powerful creatures (1:25:41) now we got to know as Satan (1:25:45) his God given powers went to his head (1:25:47) he had an egotistic problem (1:25:51) and he thought he can be a God besides God (1:25:53) he thought he can run a dominion besides God (1:25:56) and this immediately created (1:26:00) various degrees of (1:26:04) agreement or disagreement with Satan (1:26:06) so let's, just to get (1:26:08) put the matter in perspective (1:26:10) don't put the representation of how many creatures agreed with Satan (1:26:15) the vast majority of God's creatures did not agree with Satan (1:26:18) only a few, I'm going to present them by this red bar (1:26:21) I hope you can see it right there (1:26:24) so the vast majority of creatures (1:26:27) they said no way, Satan cannot be a God besides God (1:26:29) only God can be a God (1:26:35) I mean this is from a practical point of view (1:26:37) it's simply more to God than Satan thought (1:26:40) and this is reflected in this world now, Satan cannot run the world (1:26:43) there are many starving children, many diseases (1:26:47) earthquakes, cancer (1:26:49) all this is Satan's incompetence (1:26:51) Satan's incompetence in this world (1:26:54) these creatures that did not agree with Satan are the angels (1:26:58) the creatures became classified (1:27:01) the creatures who upheld God's absolute authority (1:27:05) were classified as angels (1:27:08) the creatures that rebelled and agreed with Satan (1:27:10) were classified as (1:27:14) and then further classified (1:27:15) let's not classify them as rebels (1:27:17) they did not believe in God's absolute authority (1:27:20) now I'm going to take this little dot here (1:27:22) by the way this little dot represents something like a trillion creatures (1:27:27) the number of God's angels is not one to anybody (1:27:30) except God, you see this in the Quran (1:27:32) in surah 74 verse 31 (1:27:34) where God says only God knows the number of his angels (1:27:38) even the angels don't know how many of them there are (1:27:41) as you see this red dot representing a trillion creatures (1:27:45) and the blue line is much larger (1:27:47) so there's countless numbers of angels (1:27:51) I'm going to extend this dot here into a long line (1:27:56) we're still dealing with the question (1:27:58) where did we come from (1:28:01) this line represents about a trillion creatures (1:28:05) they are the creatures that agreed with Satan (1:28:08) and this includes you and me (1:28:10) and this line to different degrees (1:28:15) let's say here are the least agreeable with Satan (1:28:17) and these are the most response agreeable with Satan (1:28:21) God gave these creatures a second chance (1:28:23) first of all the angels said since these creatures here rebelled (1:28:26) put them all in hell, throw them all in hell (1:28:29) banish them from your kingdom (1:28:31) as in surah 2 verse 30 God says no (1:28:35) one of the names of God is the most merciful (1:28:38) God wanted to give us another chance (1:28:40) to reconsider our decision to side with Satan (1:28:46) in surah 2 verse 30 God says I know what you do not know (1:28:49) the angels said throw them all in hell (1:28:51) and God said I know what you do not know (1:28:53) what did God know that the angels didn't know (1:28:57) God knew that some of us deep in our hearts really believe in God's absolute authority (1:29:01) but for some reason we were swept in the crowd (1:29:03) and we agreed with Satan to different degrees (1:29:07) so pardon (1:29:10) so this line here representing the rebels (1:29:13) God gave them a second chance (1:29:15) said how would you like to reconsider your agreement with
