17) Surah 82, 83, 90, 91 (7/21/89)
Study From Behrouz 717, Sura 90 & Sura 91 By Rashad, Sura 82 & Sura 83 By Edip,
(0:06) In the name of God, most gracious, most merciful. Speaker 1 (0:17) This morning about 9 o'clock, Lisa asked me, Do you know that you're giving the futba? (0:23) It was quite a surprise as you realize. (0:26) Then after the futba, Lydia came to me and said, Do you know you're giving the Quranic study? (0:33) And she took the beating on behalf of Lisa. (0:35) Actually, Lisa sent her to tell me that. (0:40) So here I am. (0:42) First of all, we welcome a new member to our masjid. (0:46) This person here. Speaker 4 (0:48) Forgot his name. Speaker 1 (0:54) This is the former, and still is, Muftash American. (0:58) Welcome back. (1:04) Before I start, there's also one more point that I wanted to mention. (1:09) Thanks to our Iranian brothers and sisters. (1:12) There's a little bit of confusion now about your arms. (1:15) What to do with your arms when you pray. (1:17) You give them like this or put them straight down? (1:20) I would like to establish first, once and for all, that it doesn't make any difference. (1:25) Whether you go like this or put your hands down. (1:29) But generally, what I do is I follow what the imam is doing. (1:34) The person in the front, whatever the person in front is doing, I do what he's doing. (1:38) And I recommend that for you. (1:48) Inshallah, we'll be doing surah 90, the town, and whatever we can afterwards. (1:55) At 8.30, the children will practice on us. (1:59) You know, they'll be singing at the conference. (2:02) So we'll give them maybe 20 minutes. (2:05) 20 minutes for mine. (2:07) 20 minutes enough? (2:08) 20 minutes to practice a new song on us. (2:12) It should be enjoyable, inshallah. (2:18) Surah 90, the town. (2:20) In the name of God, most gracious, most merciful. (2:24) I solemnly swear by this town. (2:27) The town where you live. (2:32) The begetting and the begotten. (2:34) We created a human being to work hard. (2:37) To redeem himself. (2:40) Does he think that no one will ever call him to account? (2:43) He boasts, I spent so much money. (2:47) Does he think that no one sees him? (2:50) Did you not give him two eyes? (2:54) A tongue and two lips? (2:56) Did you not show him the two paths? (3:00) He should choose the difficult path. (3:03) Which one is the difficult path? (3:06) The freeing of slaves. (3:09) Feeding during the time of hardship. (3:12) Orphans who are related. (3:14) Or the poor who is in need. (3:16) And being one of those who believe. (3:19) And exhorting one another to be steadfast. (3:22) And exhorting one another to be kind. (3:24) These have deserved happiness. (3:27) As for those who disbelieved in our revelation. (3:29) They have incurred misery. (3:31) They will be confined in the hell fire. (3:35) So that's the whole surah. (3:38) I go back to the beginning. (3:41) God usually starts many of these short surahs with a profound statement. (3:49) And this town, meaning Mecca, is profound. (3:52) Because God made it sacred by putting his shrine there. (3:56) To serve as the focal point. (3:59) Or a point of organization for all believers around the world. (4:03) When we stand in prayer, we don't fight as to which direction we should face. (4:09) God already decided for us that we are going to face the direction of Mecca. (4:14) So every believer, every Muslim around the world is praying and facing that point. (4:23) So the first verse is simply a profound statement as many other surahs. (4:28) And it is the town where the Prophet Muhammad lived. (4:32) Through whom this Quran was revealed. (4:36) The begetting and the begotten is a profound statement again. (4:39) All these profound statements precede an important proclamation. (4:46) The begetting and the begotten. (4:48) This is a profound fact of life. (4:55) Take for example a bird. (4:57) A bird laying an egg. (4:59) The egg has been fertilized by two parents. (5:03) Through two parents. (5:06) A reproductive cell is half a normal cell. (5:09) One reproductive cell from the male and the other half comes from the female. (5:15) They combine to form an embryo. (5:18) In birds, the egg is laid, it is fertilized. (5:22) And then the fact that the bird sits on the egg. (5:30) You know they take turns, the male and female in most species. (5:33) Taking turns sitting on the egg. (5:35) Why do they do that? (5:37) Who taught them to do that? (5:39) And what is happening inside that shell, the egg? (5:45) After a period of time, it is becoming obvious more and more that it is a multiple of 7. (5:53) 21 days in some birds. (5:57) 21, 7 times 3. (5:59) A human fetus now is in the mother's womb for 266 days. (6:04) It is now established scientifically. (6:07) 266, not 265. (6:10) 266, and that is 19 times 2 times 7. (6:13) That is still a multiple of 7. (6:18) The gestation period, is it called the gestation period? (6:22) Is that the period inside the womb? (6:26) In many other species I know it is a multiple of 7. (6:29) But I am being distracted now. (6:30) However, the begetting and the begotten is a profound statement. (6:36) After 21 days, the bird inside breaks through the shell and comes out. (6:43) Then they are walking around. (6:44) They are ducks. (6:45) They go in the water and swim as if they have been here forever. (6:49) As if they know everything. (6:50) Walking around, following the mother in the water. (6:54) You can go to random spots and see them. (6:57) They just came out of the egg. (6:59) And they are full of wisdom. (7:01) Following the mother wherever she goes. (7:02) Sometimes they go independently and pick at something in the water. (7:07) And they are identical to their parents. (7:11) With beaks and eyes. (7:13) Where did this come from? (7:16) You can do this with any kind of species. (7:18) Any begetting and begotten. (7:22) Now here comes the proclamation. (7:24) Number 4. (7:26) We created the human being to work hard to redeem himself. (7:31) The result of that crime that we committed millions of years ago. (7:36) Where we did not make a bird stand with God's absolute authority. (7:40) We are here. (7:44) And God desired our plan to work hard. (7:49) To redeem ourselves. (7:50) To denounce that crime. (7:51) To prove that we are on the side of God's absolute authority. (7:59) What do you call getting up in the morning before sunrise? (8:03) It's not easy is it? (8:05) At the beginning. (8:05) Especially when our soul is still small and weak. (8:09) The soul cannot wake up the body. (8:11) Initially. (8:13) Because the soul is weak. (8:15) It does hard work. (8:19) And you are rewarded by growth, nutrition and strength of the soul. (8:29) We created the human being to work hard. (8:33) The lazy person who does not work hard and does not get up before sunrise. (8:37) What is the result? (8:39) He or she ends up with a shrunken, weak soul. (8:43) That will not amount to anything in the real life. (8:47) In eternity. (8:50) They will be born into eternity deformed. (8:56) And we see this in surah 68. (8:59) Where they cannot fall prostrate. (9:02) On that big day when God comes physically to our universe. (9:06) They will not be able to. (9:07) They have no legs. (9:09) I mean this is symbolically. (9:10) They are deformed. (9:12) A stump cannot fall prostrate. (9:16) They are deformed. (9:18) There is lack of growth. (9:21) To get up in the morning before sunrise and do the morning prayer is a gift from God. (9:26) If we deserve it, God will guide us into waking up before sunrise to do the morning prayer. (9:35) For the young people, I don't want you to be alarmed because it may be difficult for you. (9:39) But eventually, you will be able to train your body to get up in the morning before sunrise. (9:46) If you are unable to do it now, don't be too disturbed. (9:51) It is normal, let me tell you this because I don't want to be too hard on you. (9:54) It is normal to start out by doing one prayer a day. (9:59) Let us say the morning prayer as soon as you get up at 10 or 11 in the morning. (10:05) Then it will be two prayers a day. (10:08) Then it will be three prayers a day. (10:11) Then you will do the morning prayer before sunrise and you will enjoy it. (10:17) The ideal situation is to do the five prayers with the morning prayer done before sunrise. (10:25) Also, God tells us in the Quran that we cannot do it every day. (10:28) You are going to miss once in a while. (10:31) So always think of the positive and be glad, be happy with the achievements that you do. (10:37) If you miss one time a week or something, don't feel too guilty. (10:43) Be glad that you did six out of the seven days, morning prayers before sunrise. (10:49) Ideally, you will not miss anything. (10:50) You will do the morning before sunrise and you will do the other four prayers as well. (10:54) We created the human being to work hard, to redeem himself. (10:59) There is a footnote here that says, see the introduction in appendix 7 for the purpose behind our creation. (11:06) Redeem ourselves. (11:08) Go back to God's kingdom where we were. (11:11) We got ourselves out by being interested in certain theories that others besides God can have power. (11:22) And the people are doing the same mistake now. (11:24) They think Jesus can have power, or Mary, or Saint Jude, or Muhammad, or Ali, or Hussain, or Mahdi, or whatever. (11:34) People are repeating the same mistake. (11:37) We did, and God saved us. (11:40) This is how we get redeemed. (11:43) By upholding the words of God alone and worshipping God alone. (11:50) Number five talks about those who fail to redeem themselves. (11:54) Does he think that no one will ever call him to account? (11:58) See, everything we do here is credited to us or held against us. (12:06) Whatever we do here. (12:10) And anything is forgivable except idol worship. (12:16) If maintained until death. (12:21) That's the unforgivable crime, because this is why we are here. (12:24) We are here for just one reason. (12:26) To establish the fact that we know that only God possesses all power. (12:32) So number five is telling us that every one of us will be called to account. (12:39) With the majority of people they will be asked, why didn't you develop your soul? (12:43) How come you fed your body three meals a day, but you failed to feed yourself, your soul? (12:52) Most people go through their whole life without feeding the real person a single meal. (13:00) And this is repeated in the Quran. (13:03) Most people, no matter what you do, will not believe. (13:06) And most of those who believe will fall into idol worship. (13:12) And we see this everywhere, don't we? (13:16) Just think of any mosque in the world that says the adhan, for example, the call to prayer, devoted to God alone. (13:22) Without the name of Muhammad or Ali or somebody besides God. (13:28) In all of Iran or Pakistan or Egypt or Saudi Arabia, there isn't a single one mosque that is devoted to God alone. (13:35) And which goes against the commandments of the Quran. (13:40) What happened to their brains? (13:43) They are just repeating what they did in the high society. (13:52) Does he think that no one will ever call him to account? (13:56) He boasts, I spent so much money. (13:59) Isn't this what most people do? (14:03) They are preoccupied with the almighty dollar. (14:11) In the meeting with our brothers and sisters in New York, I was asking them, when you get up in the morning, what is your list of priorities? (14:20) Are you going to have three meals today? (14:25) Just when you open your eyes in the morning, ask yourself these questions. (14:28) What am I going to do today? (14:29) Am I going to have three meals today? (14:32) That's about 30 minutes, at least. (14:35) Am I going to the bathroom today? (14:37) Two or three times. (14:40) Am I going to work today? (14:43) Four to eight hours. (14:46) Am I going to exercise today? (14:48) 30 to 60 minutes. (14:51) What else will I do? (14:52) Will I watch the TV today for one or two hours? (14:56) Will I give God 25 minutes? (14:59) Will I do my five prayers today? (15:03) Even with some Muslims, the five prayers take a back seat to everything else. (15:09) You ask them, why don't you come to the Friday prayer? (15:13) Why don't you do the five prayers? (15:16) You say, I had an appointment here and there, and I did this and that, and there was no time for the prayer. (15:20) We thank God because all of us here, we work our schedules around the prayers, the five prayers. (15:32) That's the proper thing to do. (15:35) It should be that when we get up in the morning, on top of the list will be the five prayers, at least. (15:42) On top of the list. (15:44) Then if there's time for anything else, we will do that. (15:49) This is why the verse that says, most of those who believe fall in idol worship. (15:54) But when you give priority to anything else, that's your idol. (15:59) Now don't get me wrong, there are situations where you are forced by circumstances to miss a prayer or two, or a Friday, an occasional Friday. (16:09) And I don't want you to feel guilty about that either, because God himself in the Quran gives you, knows what's in your heart, and gives you excuses. (16:17) But generally in your life, you're giving priority to God and your duties towards God, which are actually a gift from God to you. (16:25) So when you get up in the morning, you think, I'm going to have three meals a day. (16:30) I'm going to give my body at least a half hour. (16:35) Eating, drinking, snacking. (16:37) Whoa. (16:38) You're really taking care of your body. (16:41) How about your soul? (16:44) The believers have their priorities in the right order. (16:49) When I open up my eyes in the morning, the five prayers, this will take precedence over everything else. (16:59) Number six, he boasts, I spent so much money. (17:04) Because they're devoted to that. (17:06) Money is the God of most people, unfortunately. (17:11) If the boss says, you're going to come tomorrow at three o'clock in the morning, they will set the alarm at two o'clock, and they will get up at two o'clock, very energetic, put on their clothes and go to that field trip at three o'clock in the morning. (17:28) Yet, their job or their boss does not give them that money. (17:32) It is God who is giving them the money. (17:40) I want to share with you an important verse, so I go get my index. (17:44) Speaking of money, in verse six, there's a very important verse that we should all be very familiar with. (17:55) I think it is in surah 29, I'm not sure, but I will give you the correct surah and verse right now. (18:21) Yeah, it is surah 29, verse 17. (18:23) Does anyone have the whole Quran? (18:25) Lydia, are you going to read it for us? (18:28) 29, 17. (18:45) The very important verse we must all remember, 29, 17. (18:48) It says, the idol is set up besides God, and it appears here that specifically the money idol, the almighty dollar, do not possess the power to provide for you. (18:59) Therefore, seek provisions from God. (19:02) Because God is the only provider. (19:04) And as believers, we know that. (19:06) We must believe that. (19:07) No one else is the provider. (19:11) Many of you have gone through this experience and they know that the people who interview you and give you jobs and so on, they have no power whatsoever. (19:20) God is the one who is running them. (19:25) This is why verse seven, verse six, illustrates the stupidity of most humans. (19:32) He boasts, I spent so much money, or I made so much money, you know, the same thing. (19:39) The dollars assigned to you have been already assigned to you by God before you were born. (19:46) And I know the argument. (19:48) You say, you mean I'm going to sit down and money will come to me? (19:50) Yes, you'll sit down and money will come to you. (20:00) I mean, God will see to it. (20:01) As a believer, you will work and you will make money. (20:04) God will provide for you through the right and proper way. (20:09) Because if you sit and do nothing, after four or five hours you're going to be hungry. (20:12) You have to eat. (20:13) So how will you eat? (20:15) You'll go look for, dig a ditch or something to make some money to eat. (20:19) So you will work. (20:20) And God will provide you through that. (20:21) So there is a system, a divine system that we know. (20:27) Number seven, another question. (20:29) Does he think that no one sees him? (20:35) In other words, everything is recorded. (20:37) Just think that there is a video camera going with you wherever you go. (20:42) And you're going to find that video tape hanging in your neck on the day of judgment. Speaker 5 (20:52) That will keep you on your toes. Speaker 1 (20:58) Ironically, the believers do this automatically. (21:00) They know God is with them the whole time. (21:05) They know there are video specialists with the most sophisticated video cameras. (21:12) The cameras themselves are invisible. (21:15) But they take three-dimensional pictures. (21:20) It's the most sophisticated video tape. (21:22) And you're going to have it hanging in your neck on the day of judgment. (21:27) As a believer, you have the privilege of editing it. (21:31) You're going to have a perfect tape. (21:37) Does he think that no one sees him? (21:40) What is the implication here? (21:41) The believers are aware of the invisible forces and God's invisible soldiers. (21:51) So the believers, when God tells them they're guaranteed perfect life, perfect protection, they know they're perfectly protected by God. (22:03) No virus can attack you. (22:09) You're protected. (22:11) You may go through some tests. (22:13) You may be allowed to be invaded by viruses or bacteria or edicts or whatever at a test. (22:21) But you'll be restored. (22:24) You know you'll be restored. (22:27) We're all aware of the tests. (22:31) And all the tests for the believers are restorable. (22:33) Not the tests themselves. (22:34) The believers is restorable. (22:37) Whatever happens, the things that can be erased completely. (22:41) But you are fully protected. (22:45) Number eight tells us, did we not give him two eyes? (22:52) I'm looking for somebody who recorded that discovery program about the eyes. (22:59) That would make a believer of anybody, that program. (23:06) If you know of anybody who recorded it. (23:07) I think I asked Phil Travers to record it for me, and chances are he did when I was away. (23:17) In that case, we'll share it together on one of those Fridays. (23:21) But I don't need to tell you how incredible the eye is. (23:27) Just the muscles that focus the lens of your eye immediately. (23:33) I mean how fast does your eye move from this to this? (23:38) It focuses immediately. (23:40) I look at the paper and I'm focused. (23:42) Excuse me, I have to put my glasses on. (23:47) My eyes are focused with the glasses and I can see the reading here. (23:50) You look at Edip and the focus is on Edip. (23:52) He's not out of focus. (23:54) In a fraction of a second. (23:56) The muscles, if you look in the mirror you can see the muscles working. (24:00) Does anybody do that? (24:01) Everybody do that? (24:02) You look in the mirror, you turn the light on. (24:07) You catch your pupil as it goes like this. (24:10) How many people, I did that. (24:13) Those who laughed, you know, they know it. (24:18) They must have been ten years old or something and they went to the mirror with a flashlight. (24:21) You look in there. (24:27) And then I surprised my eye and turned the light on and I could see the pupil goes like this. (24:32) These are muscles that work. (24:36) They do not give him two eyes, a tongue and two lips. (24:41) That was Mahmoud's last khutbah. (24:45) That tongue is an incredible thing. (24:48) We cannot eat without it actually. (24:50) Because it keeps the food under the grinders, those things. (24:53) Your teeth. (24:56) The tongue pushes it. (24:57) You confuse the tongue sometimes if you eat on both sides. (25:00) Then you bite your tongue. (25:05) If you're greedy and you don't follow the Quran and the food is too good. (25:11) God said eat and drink but not extravagantly. (25:16) You can confuse your own tongue if you eat on both sides at the same time. (25:20) And the tongue doesn't know which way to push and you end up biting your tongue. (25:24) But it's an incredible... (25:26) That tongue is an incredible thing. (25:29) You cannot talk without it either. (25:33) Just try to say anything and be conscious of the movement of your tongue. (25:39) Up and down and to the side as you talk. Speaker 4 (25:46) Everybody wants to say something, right? Speaker 1 (25:49) Just say the word talk. (25:51) And you can see where your tongue moves from up. (25:54) Because the T, when you say T your tongue is up to there. (25:59) Talk. (26:00) Your tongue goes down. (26:01) You cannot talk without your tongue. (26:03) Even the language is called tongue. (26:07) What a design. (26:11) So God is telling us about his greatness which is incomprehensible. (26:16) God's greatness is immense. (26:18) It's not just controlling your tongue but also the mosquito that's flying in the air. (26:23) The heart of that mosquito is being controlled by God. (26:27) The amount of nutrition that is assigned to that mosquito which includes some of your blood. (26:35) It's also recorded. (26:39) And it is computerized to coincide with something wrong you did. (26:47) Then you get a bite. (26:49) Or to give you some entertainment like on our way to San Francisco for example. (26:54) And we went to pray in a rest area. (26:57) Boy, did we beat ourselves. (27:00) That was the fastest prayer we ever made. (27:05) There were five billion hungry mosquitoes waiting for us. (27:08) And they were so sly. (27:10) They waited until we said Allahu Akbar. (27:21) That was really something. (27:25) I think God wanted to give us more rewards. (27:27) Because that was struggling, striving in the cause of God. (27:34) We wondered why the rest area was so empty. (27:41) We said, wow, this is great for us. (27:44) Now we know. (27:50) God controls the provisions for not just you. (27:53) He controls not just your heart but the hearts of billions of people. (27:58) The hearts of every creature on earth. (28:04) Number ten is a great blessing. (28:06) A great blessing. (28:07) Did we not show him the two paths. (28:12) Right and wrong. (28:14) We come to this world perfectly unaware of the incidents in the high society. (28:21) We start out clean in this world. (28:24) And then we receive two messages. (28:25) A message of God alone. (28:27) A message from God. (28:29) And a message of God and somebody else from Satan. (28:32) That's it. (28:33) There is no other path. (28:35) The path of worshiping God alone. (28:38) And remember the statement in the Bible. (28:39) That path is very narrow and straitened and difficult. (28:45) Just look how much persecution we are subjected to. (28:51) Which is a blessing because you get rewarded for it. (28:54) The other path is wide. (28:56) Look at all the cathedrals in the world. (28:59) The Crystal Cathedral in Anaheim. (29:02) They all belong to Satan. (29:04) All the big mosques and the big cathedrals. (29:10) The wrong path is wide and conforming with the crowd. (29:14) Look how many people meet the Pope. (29:24) One of you, one of the most important people on earth, would go to Los Angeles. (29:28) Nobody would even know. (29:31) When the Pope goes to Los Angeles, there is security and arrangements. (29:36) A Pope for Bill and all kinds of things. (29:40) But when you go to Los Angeles, nobody hears about it. (29:45) Yet you are a very, very important person. (29:50) Such is this world, Satan's kingdom. (29:57) Did we not show him the two paths. (29:58) And here is God's recommendation, number 11. (30:02) You should choose the difficult path. (30:05) This is how you train your wild horse. (30:08) Your body. (30:11) God is recommending that we choose the difficult path. (30:14) Again, we talk about getting up in the morning before sunrise. (30:20) It's not really so difficult, I don't know. Speaker 5 (30:22) But, yes, surah 65. Speaker 1 (30:53) God makes it easy and enjoyable. (30:56) But you see, you have to break that initial barrier. (30:58) It is enjoyable. (31:06) I'm theorizing that our companion enjoys it, too. (31:13) Because I don't set the alarm anymore. (31:15) And I suspect this is true with most of you. (31:18) I just don't set the alarm. (31:19) In the last few weeks I've traveled to different time zones. (31:23) Central and eastern and all this. (31:25) And it doesn't matter where I am. (31:27) Before sunrise, something wakes me up. (31:30) And I suspect it is the companion. (31:32) So he must enjoy it. (31:35) Thank God. (31:37) Maybe an angel. (31:40) I don't know. (31:40) But there comes a time when you don't need an alarm. (31:46) You don't need anything to make you get up and enjoy it. (31:51) So God does make it easy. (31:54) Surah 65, God says, those who observe God's commandments, God makes things easy for them. (31:59) This applies to everything, though. (32:01) Everything in life. (32:04) And this will include the gift from God of doing the five prayers. (32:10) The zakat. (32:12) The zakat charity. (32:16) It's not a popular thing. (32:18) Taking money from your pocket to give it away. (32:24) I came back from a two-week absence and they opened this drawer. (32:28) And there was a zakat envelope from anonymous people. (32:31) You. (32:34) These are people who really believe in God. (32:35) Because where do they get the credit? (32:38) Because they believe in God. (32:43) They say to Lisa, whose handwriting is this? (32:49) I haven't cracked that yet. (32:51) But I know that they are people that God loves. (33:00) He should choose the difficult path. (33:08) God's commandments. (33:09) Saving the wild rose. (33:12) Might, you know. (33:14) Discipline. (33:16) When we are praying, this is discipline. (33:19) Did you see Amir praying? (33:21) Actually standing still for about five minutes. (33:23) I mean, that's a miracle. (33:28) And he is rewarded generously for that. (33:30) This is discipline. (33:32) I mean, at his age, I'd be running around all over the place. (33:34) Jumping up and down. (33:36) But to be standing still like this, bowing and prostrating before God. (33:40) It's a tremendous blessing. (33:42) And a lot of discipline. (33:44) This is what God means here. (33:46) Why he should choose the difficult path. (33:52) Number twelve. (33:54) The definition of the difficult path. (33:56) Which one is the difficult path? (33:57) And we have examples of it. (33:59) The freeing of slaves in the past. (34:03) What was the Civil War all about? (34:06) Anybody enlighten me? (34:07) Historians? (34:08) Lydia? (34:10) Put down the tab and tell me. (34:12) What is the Civil War all about? (34:14) Lincoln? (34:15) Was it Lincoln's time? (34:17) Does it have anything to do with freeing the slaves? (34:19) What was it all about? (34:21) The North was fighting the South? (34:33) Why was it an issue? (34:35) The North was fighting the South, right? (34:37) Yeah? Speaker 9 (34:43) Oh, okay. Speaker 1 (34:46) The South resisted. (35:33) So part of it was that the South was resisting the law to free the slaves. (35:39) They did not want to free the slaves. (35:43) Whatever the reason. (35:43) They did not want to do it. (35:45) Therefore, it is given here as an example of something that the human being does not want to do. (35:52) Yes. (35:53) Number thirteenth is the freeing of slaves. (35:55) It is a difficult job that must be done by believers. (36:11) Slavery. (36:14) But it is not the same as the slavery that existed at the time of the revelation of the Quran until a hundred years ago in this country. (36:26) I mean, you can actually see traces of it until now. (36:29) I think the racism that we still see in this country is the tail end of consequences of slavery and so on. Speaker 4 (36:49) It deploys as labor. Speaker 1 (36:54) But you can certainly define slavery as exploitation of other humans. Speaker 4 (36:59) And it is indicated by the Quran as a vicious, terrible crime. Speaker 1 (37:16) This is why one of the laws of the Quran is that oppression is worse than murder. (37:24) The freeing of slaves, number fourteen, feeding the hungry. (37:29) Feeding or charity. (37:31) Feeding symbolizes being charitable during the time of hardship. (37:36) Orphans who are related or the poor who are in need. (37:40) Number seventeen, and being one of those who believe. (37:43) It is not easy to believe. (37:48) Mohsen can tell you a few things about his encounter with disbelievers in Turkey. (37:53) Tell us something. (37:54) What is the majority reaction in Turkey to your ideas of the Quran and worshipping God alone? (38:03) Take a hundred people. (38:04) Out of a hundred, how many people agreed with you? Speaker 3 (38:09) Zero. (38:09) Alright. (38:13) Were they violently opposed to you? Speaker 1 (38:15) Were there degrees of violent reaction? (38:23) They insulted him because he says follow the Quran alone. (38:28) Looking down on him. (38:30) Because this is all in the Quran. (38:35) Yep. (38:36) We know that, Adib, don't we? (38:37) And it seems to be that the Muslims, quote unquote, are the ones who are doing this. (38:48) The Christians are not. (38:49) The atheists are not. (38:52) Insulting the believers. (38:56) So, number seventeen, being one of those who believe, is not easy. (39:05) And exalting one another to be steadfast. (39:09) And exalting one another to be kind. (39:11) At the same time. (39:17) These have deserved happiness. (39:19) We're not talking about happiness in the hereafter only. (39:22) We're talking about happiness now and forever. (39:26) Happiness now and forever. (39:29) More and more, God is strengthening these ideas in our minds through real life examples. (39:36) Our own life right here in this mosque. (39:42) Number eighteen says these have deserved happiness. (39:45) Period. (39:46) See the period there? (39:50) Means now and forever. (39:52) Number nineteen, as for those who disbelieve in our revelations, they have incurred misery. (40:01) Period. (40:03) Now and forever. (40:05) They will be confined in the hellfire. (40:11) So these short surahs are loaded, as you see. (40:16) Just one short surah. (40:18) Twenty verses, and it's loaded with information. (40:21) Any questions? (40:24) Dr. Sabah? (40:25) Yes. (40:55) Not necessarily. (40:57) But takabbada is effort, work. (41:00) Takabbada, the verb takabbada in Arabic means exert himself, effort. (41:06) What does the Parsi say there? (41:08) Is that a Parsi translation? (41:14) English? Speaker 9 (41:15) No, Parsi. Speaker 1 (41:17) So what does it say there? (42:02) That's a typical interpretation of non-believers, actually. (42:10) Satan is trying to justify the pain and misery that his clients go through. (42:17) It is not a correct translation. (42:18) Because you understand from that that it means the human being must be in pain and suffering, right? (42:26) What do you understand when you read it? (42:29) You can convey it to us in English. (43:10) No, that would be an incorrect interpretation. (43:13) And therefore, this is the correct translation here. (43:18) To work hard. (43:20) Because there is no pain or suffering for the believer. (43:29) Not necessarily. (43:31) Not necessarily. (43:33) Because of the word takabbada, it would be to work hard. (43:42) There are other fee words that do not mean in. (43:50) For example, when we say, fee shak means they have doubts. (43:56) So it is not exactly in. (43:59) Sometimes it is in. (44:00) So takabbada is a very clear word. (44:07) I think even the old translation says that. (44:09) What does the old translation say, Kevin? (44:11) Verse 4? (44:21) It is exertion. (44:23) Takabbada. (44:24) It is to exert himself. (44:26) Thank you for this point anyway. (44:28) Because it reflects what... (44:30) They are always thinking of pain and suffering. (44:33) Because they try to justify their life, which is full of pain and suffering. (44:39) The believer's life has no pain and suffering. (44:40) Even in the periods of tests, they realize that this is the test that they will be restored. (44:48) And the pain and suffering will be gone. (44:50) Do you remember the pain and suffering you went through when you were one year old? (44:54) The shocks that went through, do you remember those? (44:57) Nope. (44:59) They are gone. (45:03) The pain and suffering in tests will be something that is simple and will go fast. (45:08) It will be forgotten. (45:11) Other questions? (45:15) David? (45:20) You look like you want to ask a question. (45:22) Surah 91 is entitled The Son. (45:28) Go ahead. (45:29) We missed you for a few weeks. (45:31) How was Italy anyway? (46:04) You see the statue of Jesus where the foot is all worn down from touching it? (46:08) You see that one? (46:10) The main building of the Vatican. (46:12) And you walk about 50 yards to the right, they have a statue of Jesus, and people touch the foot of it, and it's worn down. (46:19) It's rock, it's granite. (46:21) Just from touching it, it's worn down. (46:24) And they're proud of that. (46:25) They show it often. (46:27) Have you seen this clip? (46:30) Give it to the Vatican. (46:33) That's an amazing demonstration of idol worship. (46:36) And then they have the tombs of some saints in the basement. (46:40) Did you go to those, Mahmoud? (46:42) In the basement of the Vatican, they have some tomb of Peter and some other saint. (46:49) You ran away fast. (46:55) I investigated the whole thing. (46:57) It was repulsive. (46:58) Just as repulsive as the Prophet's mosque in Medina. (47:02) Go ahead. Speaker 6 (47:26) It's beautiful, yes. (47:33) Very good point. (47:36) Don't be a slave of your job, your spouse, or children. Speaker 3 (47:41) Be a slave of God alone. Speaker 1 (47:49) Okay, we're ready for Surah number 91. (47:52) In the name of God, most gracious, most merciful. (47:56) By the sun and its brightness, the moon that follows it, the day that reveals the night that covers, the sky and him who built it, the earth and him who sustains it, the soul and him who created it, then showed it what is evil and what is good. (48:14) Successful is one who redeems it. (48:17) Failing is one who neglects it. (48:20) Thamud's disbelief caused them to transgress. (48:23) They followed the worst among them. (48:26) God's messenger said to them, This is God's camel. (48:30) Let her drink. (48:32) They disbelieved him and slaughtered her. (48:35) The Lord then requited them for their sin and annihilated them. (48:40) Yet those who came after them remained heedless. (48:43) Again we see in the first verses some of God's profound signs that remind us of God's greatness and why we should be worshipping God alone. (48:53) The sun and its brightness. (48:55) Do you have any idea how hot the sun is? (48:57) How bright it is? (49:05) 93 million miles away. (49:08) And you go out at noon there and with a lens you can actually burn anything. (49:15) You can put a piece of paper in the lens in the focal point and burn the paper. (49:21) Very bright and very hot. (49:23) And Muhammad or Jesus had nothing to do with creating that sun. (49:32) Saint Jude had nothing to do with creating that sun. (49:36) He was adding a single atom to it. (49:38) Yet the people thank him for their successful operation. (49:44) By the sun and its brightness, the moon that follows it. (49:52) What is the moon? (49:54) It's something hanging in space. (49:56) We flew to the moon and we went around it. (50:01) Something that's hanging in space. (50:04) And synchronized the movement with the earth. (50:07) So you see only one side of the moon. (50:09) These are the profound signs that God gives us to remind us of his greatness. (50:14) The moon that follows it. (50:17) The day that reveals. (50:19) You can see everything during the daylight. (50:22) The night that covers. (50:26) The night and the day are other profound signs of God. (50:32) Back last night I saw that phenomenon of the night rolling over the day and the day rolling over the night. (50:40) I left St. Louis about 8 o'clock at night. (50:45) And I watched the part of the... (50:48) If you travel after sunset, you can see it. (50:53) You can look in the window in this area and there is light and in that area it's pitch black. (50:57) Very dark. (50:58) And you can see the night rolling over the day. (51:01) And you can imagine the earth turning. (51:03) The sun set and the night overtaking the day. (51:13) These are profound signs of God. (51:16) And the miraculous things in the Quran and the infallibility of the Quran is manifested in the fact that God says when the world ends, half will be at night and half will be in the day. (51:27) God says our command will come to it during the day or the night. (51:31) Because half the earth will be at daylight and half the earth will be at night. (51:36) If it was a human written book, they would have made a stupid mistake. (51:40) Our command will come at 12 noon. (51:42) You know? (51:46) Well, 12 noon New York time or Tucson time. (51:51) It's an infallible book. (51:55) Another profound sign, number 5, the sky and him who built it. (52:02) Trillions, decillions of heavenly bodies in precise orbits, never crashing with one another. (52:10) By the way, we opened at Ramadan, I was in our house the day before yesterday and we got the newspaper to see what time is sunrise, what time is sunset. (52:21) The Washington Post. (52:22) You can get the Washington Post here, even the library. (52:25) And as it turns out, they give you the rise and set of every member of the solar system. (52:30) Venus and Mars and Jupiter. (52:33) The moon, the sun. (52:35) They give you the sunrise and moon and sunset. (52:37) The moonrise and moonset. (52:38) Every day, the Mars rise and the Mars set. (52:42) The Venus rise and the Venus set. (52:44) We know it by fractions of minutes. (52:46) And the dummies in Saudi Arabia still want to watch the moon to fast Ramadan. (52:53) You have to see the moon to fast Ramadan. (52:55) Every morning, the Washington Post. (52:57) You can check it in the library. (53:00) They give you the sunrise, the moonrise, the Venus rise, the Mars rise, the Jupiter, Saturn. (53:06) It's under the list called the solar system. (53:08) Rise and set. (53:12) That's how precise God's system is. (53:14) And we're just talking about the solar system, which is a minute mode in our universe. (53:21) Within the Milky Way galaxy. (53:24) There are billions of suns in our Milky Way galaxy. (53:27) Ours is one of the tiny ones. (53:33) The sky and him who built it. (53:35) Muhammad or Jesus or Mary had nothing to do with the Mars rise and Mars set. (53:42) Every day. (53:44) Number six, the earth and him who sustains it. (53:53) Have you seen the big trees? (53:54) In the Redwood National Park in North California. (54:02) Fantastic creatures that God sustains. (54:07) Was it 1500 years? (54:09) What was it? (54:11) You didn't set the camera right so we don't have the picture. (54:16) Of the big tree. (54:18) Was it 1500 years? (54:20) A little older than your grandfather. Speaker 9 (54:24) 1500 years. (54:26) Yes, that's another one. (54:34) Yes. Speaker 1 (54:44) That's older than America. (54:51) That big tree in the Redwood National Park. (54:53) 1500 years. (54:54) That's 1300 years before America was born. (54:59) When that tree started. (55:01) It's huge. (55:06) We tried to make Lisa surround the tree with her arms. (55:19) Even if we put Frank next to the tree he would look like a tiny person. (55:24) It's an amazing creature that God sustains. (55:26) The earth and him who sustains it. (55:29) Number seven, the soul and him who created it. (55:33) God created the soul and made it invisible. (55:39) Number eight, again, the message. (55:42) What is evil and what is good. (55:45) What is evil is idol worship and what is good is worshiping God alone. (55:48) The simple is that. (55:51) Successful is one who redeems it. (55:53) That's the objective of our life. (55:54) Right there. (55:56) Number nine, redeem your soul by feeding it every day. (56:00) Five prayers. (56:02) Being charitable, being righteous. (56:05) Never lie, cheat. (56:06) Be a person of your word. (56:09) Must be an ideal, exemplary person of moral behavior. (56:20) In every respect. (56:25) Successful is one who redeems it. (56:28) Failing is one who neglects it. (56:30) It's mostly neglect. (56:32) Most people out there in the street are neglecting their soul. (56:35) They can be the nicest people in the world but they're neglecting to feed their soul. (56:40) They have to worship God alone to grow and develop. (56:46) And then we're given examples from 11, 12, 13, 14, and 15 of the mood and how they didn't listen to God's messenger and they ended up incurring retribution. (56:57) And number 15 tells us to learn from those examples. (57:00) And thank you very much. (57:02) God bless you. (57:02) We're going to have the children sing for us. (57:05) Unless you have any questions about surah 91. (57:08) And let's see who's going to give the Quranic study list and the Jumu'ah. (57:14) We're going to be stuck with it. (57:15) Catherine, you're going to give the Quranic study next week. (57:18) And the Jumu'ah prayer. (57:19) Douglas, you're going to give the Jumu'ah futba, okay. (57:22) This is all set. (57:25) Where is Sarah? (57:26) Sarah here? (57:32) And where is Alia? (57:33) Where is Alia? (57:34) Is she here? (57:35) Come here. (57:36) Come here. (57:37) Come here, you birthday girl. (57:38) You want to sit here? (57:39) Sarah, you want to sit there? (57:40) Because we're going to give you a big prayer. (57:44) These two girls are having birthdays this week. (57:46) When was your birthday? (57:48) Yesterday? (57:49) Yesterday was your birthday. (57:50) Yours is Monday? (57:51) Masha'Allah. (57:52) You're growing so fast. (57:54) Slow down. (57:56) Masha'Allah. (57:57) We're going to read al-Fatiha for these two beautiful girls because of their birthday. (58:01) That God gives them a very happy year coming up. (58:04) And every year will be happier than the previous year. (58:06) Insha'Allah. (58:07) Al-Fatiha. (58:23) Congratulations. (58:27) You're going to eat the first cupcakes, okay. (58:29) Okay, you want to call the kids? Speaker 2 (58:33) When the heaven is shattered, the planets are scattered, the oceans are exploded, the graves are opened, every soul will find out what caused it to advance and what caused it to regret. (59:21) O you human being, what diverted you from your Lord most honorable, the one who created you, designed you, and perfected you. (59:33) In whatever design you chose, He constructed it. (59:37) Indeed, you disbelieve in the religion, oblivious to the fact that there are invisible keepers around you. (59:47) They are honest recorders. (59:49) They record everything you do. (59:52) Surely the pious have deserved bliss, while the weakest have deserved hell. (59:59) We incur it on the Day of Judgment. (1:00:03) They never leave it. (1:00:05) Awesome is the Day of Judgment. (1:00:09) What a day, the Day of Judgment. (1:00:12) That is the day when no soul can help another soul, and all decisions on that day will belong to God. (1:00:26) Also, this chapter (1:00:28) starts with a (1:00:30) description of the ending of the world (1:00:32) and the resurrection (1:00:34) and then (1:00:39) asks (1:00:40) a question (1:00:41) in the first take (1:00:44) asks a question (1:00:48) about diversion (1:00:49) and then informs us (1:00:54) the recorders (1:00:56) that record our every action (1:01:07) Here (1:01:07) was (1:01:17) the deed in Arabic (1:01:19) in the verse 9 (1:01:21) at the Day of Judgment (1:01:41) excludes (1:01:42) all (1:01:45) intercession (1:01:48) that day (1:01:50) the dominion (1:01:57) nobody (1:01:58) ends with the word God (1:02:03) the word God only here (1:02:07) in the past world (1:02:26) Here, this chapter is the only chapter (1:02:29) that ends with Allah (1:02:31) with the word Allah (1:02:33) you can find the word Allah (1:02:37) and this is the 19th verse (1:02:39) the verse number is 19 (1:02:40) and if you count from the end of the Quran (1:02:43) the word Allah (1:02:57) do you have any question? Speaker 1 (1:03:23) It's a piece of information, this is the only surah that ends with the word God at the top of the last line if you count from here to the end of the Quran the word God, and this is also verse 19 Yes, this is Is this a human design? (1:03:55) Is it possible that a human being designed this way? (1:03:59) So the significance is Speaker 7 (1:04:00) that this is a super human design (1:04:02) in other words, you know that God is speaking to you (1:04:04) not Muhammad (1:04:05) or somebody trying to put your name Speaker 1 (1:04:10) so it just (1:04:12) meshes in with (1:04:15) the interlocking of this mathematical system (1:04:17) if you look at the bottom of the page (1:04:19) you see the number 1 on the left (1:04:21) and 2680 on the right (1:04:23) there is only one word God (1:04:25) on this page, and this is recorded on the left side (1:04:27) the total up to this page is 2680 Speaker 7 (1:04:31) and you know (1:04:31) at the end the total is 2698 (1:04:35) so if you (1:04:36) count this word Speaker 1 (1:04:37) God as one, the last one will be 19 (1:04:40) and this is verse 19 (1:04:42) so who made this design? Speaker 2 (1:04:46) It is a super human design, could not possibly be Muhammad and I want to point out about Yawm al-Din we say Malik Yawm al-Din Day of Judgment How about Dayn? Speaker 6 (1:06:01) What does Dayn mean? (1:06:07) What is Dayn? (1:06:21) What is death? Speaker 3 (1:06:28) You get paid the day you get paid Yawm al-Din where you pay your debts where you open your P.R.A. but Dayn is death it is a hybrid Day of Judgment there are other specific Day of Judgment in the Bible, it is not a day of punishment or paying for your sins it is a day of religion you use the do you like tea? Speaker 1 (1:09:18) you play golf a lot? (1:09:21) so why do you like it then? (1:09:23) I am talking about golf you tee off in golf? (1:09:33) I am asking you you never play golf let me think of something else multiple meanings but I want to find English expressions but the Quran is the Arabic language the Day of Reckoning the Day of Reckoning no, what does the Day of Religion mean? Speaker 4 (1:10:48) right therefore, if you say I drink I tee off at the golf meaning you put a cup of tea on the thing and you hit it with a club that would be the wrong usage so if you say the Day of Religion, it would be like that so why not use the Day of Judgment? Speaker 7 (1:11:34) so why not use the Day of Judgment? Speaker 1 (1:11:41) I can say the Day of Religion (1:12:19) yes, this is true in some other places (1:12:21) but this happens to be the literal translation (1:12:22) of the Day of Judgment (1:12:26) I am still thinking of Speaker 6 (1:12:34) let's find simpler words (1:12:42) think of multiple meaning English words (1:12:46) that is a good one Speaker 4 (1:12:47) this is a good one (1:12:49) come on lady Speaker 1 (1:12:51) give us multiple meaning English words (1:12:55) like tea Speaker 6 (1:13:00) yes, red (1:13:01) very good Speaker 4 (1:13:02) I want words that spell exactly the same way (1:13:26) how about meat? Speaker 5 (1:13:47) is there a word that meat has? Speaker 2 (1:14:21) chapter 83 woe to the cheaters who demand full measure by receiving and giving them the measures or weight do they not know that they will be resurrected on a tremendous day that is the day when all people will stand before the Lord of the Universe indeed, the book of the wicked in the Sijin do you know what Sijin is? (1:15:01) a numerically structured book (1:15:04) woe on that day to the rejecters (1:15:06) they do not believe (1:15:08) in the Day of Judgment (1:15:10) none disbelieve (1:15:11) wherein except the transgressor (1:15:14) the sinful (1:15:15) when all revelations are recited to him (1:15:18) he says (1:15:19) tales from the past (1:15:21) indeed, their hearts (1:15:24) have become shielded by their sins (1:15:28) they will be isolated (1:15:30) on that day from their Lord (1:15:32) then they will be thrown (1:15:34) into Hell (1:15:36) they will be told (1:15:37) this is what you used to deny (1:15:53) here (1:15:56) God (1:15:57) blames those people who cheat (1:16:01) people (1:16:06) an example of cheating (1:16:08) but you can (1:16:16) derive many other examples (1:16:20) and God reminds them (1:16:22) the Day of Resurrection (1:16:23) because they will act (1:16:28) every minus act (1:16:33) that day the Lord of the Universe (1:16:39) the Judge (1:16:42) in verse 9 (1:16:45) we see a description (1:16:47) of a numerically (1:16:57) structured book (1:17:01) and God says (1:17:02) whenever they hear (1:17:05) the revelations (1:17:07) or the signs or the miracles (1:17:09) recited to them (1:17:11) they say tales from the past (1:17:13) it is noteworthy that (1:17:24) for the (1:17:25) miracle 19 (1:17:28) in Turkey (1:17:29) they published a book (1:17:30) they criticized (1:17:32) the object (1:17:33) miracle (1:17:35) the name of the book was (1:17:37) tales from the past (1:17:39) the name of the book (1:17:43) 19 (1:17:47) semicolons (1:17:47) tales from the past (1:17:50) efsane (1:17:51) and they just use the same (1:17:56) I think we have many (1:18:02) words to condemn (1:18:05) the expression that (1:18:15) prophesized in Quran (1:18:21) I think in (1:18:22) verse 13 (1:18:24) when our revelations (1:18:26) instead of revelations (1:18:28) if a word (1:18:30) that has double meaning (1:18:32) used would be better because in Quran (1:18:36) in original text (1:18:38) the word ayat has been used (1:18:42) either miracle and revelation (1:18:45) both of them (1:18:46) include miracle and also (1:18:49) revelation (1:18:50) but in English it becomes narrow (1:18:57) and let's go (1:18:58) there is (1:19:00) an interesting difference between (1:19:03) righteous people (1:19:04) and wicked people in their own judgment (1:19:06) in connection with the book (1:19:13) let's go on (1:19:14) verse 18 (1:19:16) indeed the book of the (1:19:18) righteous will be in (1:19:19) do you know what (1:19:21) is a numerically (1:19:23) structured book (1:19:25) it is the same book (1:19:26) the description is the same (1:19:29) what is different (1:19:33) for the wicked (1:19:34) people a book called (1:19:35) but God says (1:19:37) a numerically structured (1:19:40) book and for the (1:19:42) righteous people also (1:19:43) there is a book called (1:19:45) but the description (1:19:47) is the same (1:19:49) a numerically structured book (1:19:54) let's go on (1:19:56) to find (1:19:57) the answer (1:19:58) you witness by those close to me (1:20:02) the righteous have deserved bliss (1:20:04) a luxurious permission (1:20:06) they watch (1:20:08) you recognize in their faces (1:20:10) the joy of bliss (1:20:11) their drinks will be spiced with (1:20:14) nectar (1:20:16) its spice is like musk (1:20:18) this is what the (1:20:20) competitors should compete for (1:20:26) from a spring (1:20:27) that is reserved for those (1:20:29) close to me (1:20:30) the witch used to laugh at those (1:20:33) when they passed by them (1:20:38) when they got together with their people (1:20:41) they used to joke (1:20:42) whenever they saw them they said (1:20:44) these people are far astray (1:20:46) they have no such thing (1:20:48) as invisible guards (1:20:50) today those who believe (1:20:52) are laughing at these disbelievers (1:20:54) a luxurious permission (1:20:57) permission to watch (1:20:58) most assuredly (1:21:01) the disbelievers are (1:21:02) requited for what they do (1:21:07) now I'm (1:21:08) going back on verse 19 (1:21:11) and 20 (1:21:13) and (1:21:14) I repeat my question to you (1:21:16) can you notice (1:21:18) the difference between (1:21:46) why do we add three of them (1:21:48) you can add (1:21:56) the description is the same (1:22:54) thank you (1:22:55) I have a comment on this (1:22:57) or understanding (1:22:59) in verse 20 (1:23:02) to 21 (1:23:03) Allah, God (1:23:05) describes the difference (1:23:06) the difference is (1:23:08) righteous people could read (1:23:11) and lean their book (1:23:12) their numerically structured book (1:23:14) they can read (1:23:16) to be witnessed by those close to me (1:23:18) but wicked people (1:23:19) they cannot understand (1:23:21) they cannot read numerically structured book (1:23:24) they work with the written (1:23:25) in numerical code (1:23:28) they were (1:23:29) recorded in numerical code (1:23:32) they are not familiar with this (1:23:34) in this world (1:23:35) they always used to deny (1:23:37) to object this numerical code (1:23:40) but believers (1:23:41) they are familiar, they can read (1:23:43) I thought you would say something else Speaker 7 (1:23:48) I thought you were going to say something else Speaker 1 (1:23:50) I think the numerically (1:23:52) structured book is the Quran (1:23:55) but the wicked (1:23:56) will call it tells from the past (1:23:59) and the righteous will be able (1:24:00) to see it (1:24:01) because God uses the same word (1:24:03) as the elite of the elite (1:24:06) those who are close to me (1:24:08) so only those, only the elite of the elite (1:24:10) will be permitted to see the miracle of the Quran (1:24:13) right here (1:24:16) only the elite of the elite (1:24:18) will be able to see it (1:24:19) it's a physical miracle (1:24:21) but the definition (1:24:24) in 9 and (1:24:27) in 20 (1:24:30) same (1:24:30) same description, a numerically structured book (1:24:34) the wicked (1:24:34) will call it tells from the past (1:24:36) and the righteous will witness it (1:24:41) just Speaker 2 (1:24:42) wonderful (1:24:45) it's the same book Speaker 1 (1:24:49) but also this ties in with (1:24:51) verses that you know (1:24:54) where it says that the Quran increases (1:24:55) their wickedness (1:24:58) or in other places the Quran (1:24:59) causes them to plunge deeper in disbelief Speaker 2 (1:25:03) their book, they record (1:25:05) also in Quran Rashad (1:25:06) Quran describes all offenses (1:25:08) and their punishment (1:25:09) yes, their book, our book also Speaker 1 (1:25:17) no, it necessarily refers (1:25:23) to the Quran Speaker 2 (1:25:23) yes, because there is difference (1:25:31) only difference, righteous people (1:25:33) can understand it (1:25:34) the other will say it's from the past Speaker 1 (1:25:38) you know how the disbelievers (1:25:39) say the Quran is full of hell and fire and brimstone (1:25:41) well (1:25:43) that's what they see Speaker 5 (1:25:47) but it is as you know half and half (1:25:49) so it depends on which half you see Speaker 2 (1:26:04) no, no, no (1:26:05) in this surah (1:26:08) verse (1:26:10) 29 (1:26:13) they used to laugh (1:26:15) at believers (1:26:16) but now (1:26:17) do they laugh at us Rashad? Speaker 1 (1:26:20) it must be more crazy they do not laugh too much yes, it is interesting yes, they do laugh at the believers but we will laugh at them for eternity thank you very much God bless you, good job
