18) Quran Study: Surah 61, 81, 87, 94
Study From Behrouz 818, Sura 61 & Sura 87 & Sura 94 By Rashad, Sura 81 By Edip,
Speaker 1 (0:00) You see, this word, the Holy Prophet, this is a clue that it's just a lesson to learn from it as a history, as a historical event, things that happened during the Prophet's time. (0:11) But they needed those rules also in those days, for a few hundred years. (0:17) These rules apply applicable to war, specifically. (0:20) In our case, we derive... (0:38) No, oh, it's okay, I understand now what you're saying. (0:41) See, first, do you pledge you'll never set up idols beside God? (5:35) There are many mathematical lists. (6:54) You have a perfect life now, guaranteed, here. (8:52) And 11 is... Speaker 2 (12:01) Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim. (12:09) We are tonight entitled The Most High. (12:21) Glorify the name of your Lord, The Most High. (12:26) He creates and shapes, He designs and guides. (12:33) He produces the pasture, then turns it into light hay. (12:40) The title of this surah is the most high, and we see in verse 1 that we are commanded to glorify the name of God, the name of our Lord. (12:57) And this is a reminder also, which I think is never enough. (13:05) We have to keep reminding ourselves that we have to remember God every chance we got. (13:13) There was a very good explanation, and when I watched that program, I said, I wish I could explain this thing, because there was one moment where one professor of biology from the University of California talked in front of this group, and this group of infusion of creation research was represented by one Ph.D. also in biochemistry, graduated from the same school Rashad graduated from. (13:41) So it was very interesting, but he brought the argument up to the point, and then he couldn't further it. (13:46) But if he had heard that, what Rashad gave in the book, it would have been very interesting. (13:51) Because at one point that professor of biology from UC Berkeley said, we are 99% similar to the apes. (14:02) That's what Rashad mentioned also. (14:04) 99%, and that's very close. (14:08) But we know that based on what we learned here, 99% similar means there's 1% difference. (14:19) And 1% difference represents 1% of 300 billion nucleotides that form the genes, which they say, the evolution says the same. (14:29) And that is 3 billion, and you have 3 billion combinations, and we know that 84 combinations is zero. (14:36) The probability is zero that you have a certain combination having 84 items. (14:42) And we are talking here about 3 billion nucleotides. (14:48) And so based on theory of probability, that's zero. (14:52) But unfortunately in that program, this Ph.D. from UC Riverside didn't say that. (15:00) He just said, well, there's still a chance. (15:02) So basically, I would say that this discussion would be furthered in the future. (15:09) Most people will grab the idea and they will see that even though the evolution is also a fact, because God says, and we learn from the Quran, that God creates. (15:20) And in terms of our scale, then the creation undergoes evolution. (15:24) And this will merge the two theories and will bring the Quranic light into the earth. (15:37) He creates and shapes. (15:39) He shapes because God knows the need of every individual, every living being that he creates. (15:50) One example that was shown in that program was, there was a species of bird who lived in a remote island and eventually evolved into many different, you know, within the same species, they look different. (16:03) One of them is longer, one of them is shorter. (16:06) The longer beak, because they need to get the nectar from the flower and all that. (16:09) So they say they evolved according to the need, but we know that God knows the need of each individual and that he creates over time the changes in that shape of the beak. (16:21) And so when we see that example, we wonder about that example and we say, well, immediately we remember God and we go back to the first, before that, first number one, we glorify God, we say Alhamdulillah. (16:36) When we see that program, but most people who believe in evolution who do not believe in God, they say, well, it evolves, the brain or the bone in the back becomes smaller and smaller and smaller and over 1,000 years or 10,000 years it becomes, you know, smaller and the jaw becomes larger and all that. (16:52) But we know that all that is designed by God and we say Alhamdulillah. (17:00) Edip, say something. (17:04) It's facing you now, so you have to say something. (17:09) Overwhelming. (17:11) This is the title of Surah 88. (17:13) In the name of God, most gracious, most merciful. (17:16) Are you aware of the overwhelming? (17:20) Faces on that day will be shamed, laboring and exhausted, suffering in a blazing hellfire, drinking from a flaming spring, they will have no food except the useless variety. (17:35) It never nourishes nor satisfies hunger. (17:41) Other faces on that day will be full of joy, satisfied with their work in an exalted paradise. (17:48) In it no nonsense is heard, in it a spring flows. (17:52) In it luxurious furnishings and drinks made available and pictures in rows and carpets throughout. (18:02) Are you aware of the overwhelming? (18:05) This is another word or term that is used in the Qur'an to describe the Day of Judgment. (18:12) We've seen in the previous Surahs. (18:14) I think we can go back, even though we have done it probably two weeks ago. (18:18) I can quickly go back to Surah 82, 81. (18:22) I think 81 and 82 started with the description of the Day of Judgment. (18:28) 82 says, when the heavens are shattered, the planets are scattered, the oceans are exploded, the graves are opened. (18:36) Every soul will find out what caused it to advance and what caused it to regress. (18:41) Similar expression in Surah 81. (18:43) When the sun is rolled, the stars are crashed into each other, the mountains are wiped out, the reproduction is halted, the beasts are summoned, the oceans are set aflame. (18:52) These are all overwhelming. (18:54) These are heavy events. (19:01) And this will happen in front of everybody. (19:04) In other words, there will be a real terror on that day. (19:11) A real terror for most people. (19:12) It's a real terror, except for the believers. (19:14) Because God said that he will send the angels to protect the believers from the event of that day. (19:19) But this is the beginning of the Day of Eternity. (19:22) So this is the day that will have no end. (19:24) This is the day that will have... (19:29) How would I say it? (19:31) It's an eternal day, so there is no end to it. (19:33) It started with all this destruction of the universe. (19:36) As we know from all these verses I read from 81 and 82, what happened would be the implosion of the universe. (19:43) Now we know the universe started with a big bang, and we are now still, quote-unquote, exploding. (19:50) We are moving away from each other. (19:54) We are in the same solar system, and the solar system is part of the galaxy, but the galaxies are actually moving away from each other. (20:04) Because we are now still... (20:06) If we think of a bubble, of a balloon, we are riding in the skin of a balloon, and as the balloon is being... (20:13) We blow into the balloon, the balloon is getting bigger and bigger, and every point in that surface is getting farther apart. (20:18) On the Day of Judgment, the opposite will occur. (20:21) Everything will come back as if somebody is pulling it, and we will crash into each other. (20:27) And that's why the stars crash, and the sun is rolled, and the planets disperse. (20:36) Ocean explodes, or the ocean is set aflame. (20:40) I remember something that I read from a geology book recently, that in 1883... (20:53) Most of you probably have heard of Mount Rakataua. (20:57) It is actually a small mountain in the middle of the sea, really. (21:03) But when it exploded in 1883, the whole caldera collapsed, and we know what a volcano is. (21:09) A volcano is actually a plug to the hot magma chamber. (21:13) So when a volcano forms, it really actually separates the magma chamber from the surface. (21:21) So when that mountain exploded, the whole thing collapsed, and billions of tons of seawater comes straight into the magma chamber, and the result is a tremendous explosion that was heard 5,000, 6,000 miles, and caused three years of winter in the northern hemisphere. (21:41) It's a very tremendous occasion. (21:43) The Day of Judgment will be like, God says, the mountains are all wiped out, so it will be Mount Rakataua on the grand scale, and the whole universe... (21:53) We thought it would just be Earth, but actually this is the whole universe. Speaker 5 (21:56) Verse 17. (21:57) I was watching a program on television entitled, Ship of the Desert. (22:01) Some of you all may have seen it. (22:08) One of the reasons why people suffer or die in the sand or desert is because they can't step in the sand. (22:27) They actually lay on top of the sand a few seconds. (22:39) During a sandstorm, a camel can close its notched nostrils, so no sand will bleed in its nose. (22:47) It has an alternative air source. (22:51) Here we are out here, we've got these devil storms and sand storms, and we're rolling up windows on cars, and all a camel does is this. (22:59) It just keeps going. (23:00) Without the fingers. (23:04) Without fingers. (23:06) Sitting up, you can't help but say, I'm hungry, and I'm watching this program, and it's just incredible. (23:11) So it closes its nostrils. (23:13) Everybody else is taking blankets and everything, covering themselves. (23:17) Another one is that the hair on the body is primarily just a little hair over the top, right over the sacks, to reflect some of the heat, to prevent the water from evaporating. (23:30) So these are some of the characteristics, and now people have these land rovers. (23:35) I mean, can you think of all the mechanical engineers who were trying to design vehicles to go long distance over the deserts? (23:42) No one can design like a lot. (23:45) A camel closes its nostrils, able to put its feet. (23:51) I thought I'd share it, it was fantastic. Speaker 4 (25:01) I can take 400 gallons of water, and the third one comes at night. Speaker 2 (27:40) Dawn. (27:42) In the name of God, most gracious, most merciful, by the dawn and the ten nights, by the even and the odd, by the night as it passes. (27:52) A profound oath for one who possesses intelligence. (27:56) Again, we see here that the dawn, the ten nights, the even and the odd, by the night as it passes, these are all, this is a profound oath. (28:06) God is making an oath by all these things that he created. (28:12) But we know that the dawn is sure to come. (28:15) I mean, every morning, it will never fail. (28:18) It will come, and sun will rise, and then will set and come again. (28:24) There's one day that we can take for granted that five o'clock in the morning, the sun will rise. (28:32) During the winter months, it's probably seven o'clock. (28:36) People have means to calculate that by now. (28:41) The ten nights, these are the last ten nights of Ramadan, as we see, wherein many believers retreat to the mosque. (28:52) Surah 2, verse 187. (29:00) These are, you know, in Surah Al-Baqarah, these are the first that talks about the fasting that is instituted by God since Abraham, but then we find in the Quran to allow intercourse between the spouse during the night of Ramadan, except when one decides to retreat to the mosque during the last ten days of Ramadan. (29:24) So we know that the ten nights is the last ten nights of Ramadan. (29:29) Even in the art, we are talking here about mathematics, as we know, the proof that God has chosen to use to prove his word is through mathematics. (29:40) Even and odd are numbers, we are talking about the numbers, and number 19 is the number that proves that the Quran is the word of God. (29:50) And therefore the odd by this, even and odd, these are all numbers that constitute mathematical structure and composition of the Quran. (30:04) Indeed, this is an awesome odd. (30:06) By the night as it passes, so we know why this is a profound odd. (30:12) God says that for people who possess intelligence, who dare to use their thinking to think about the Creator and find that there is a profound proof behind it, then these are people who possess it. (30:29) Have you noted what your Lord did to add? (30:32) Iran, the town with tall buildings, there was nothing like it anywhere. (30:37) Also Thamud, who carved the rocks in their valley, and Pharaoh, who possessed might. (30:44) They all transgressed in the land and spread evil throughout. (30:48) Consequently, your Lord poured upon them a whipping retribution. (30:53) Your Lord is ever watchful. (30:56) When a human being is tested by his Lord through blessings and joy, he says, My Lord is generous towards me. (31:03) But if he tests him through reduction in provisions, he says, My Lord is humiliating me. (31:09) Wrong. (31:10) It is you who brought it on yourself by not regarding the orphans and not advocating charity towards the poor. (31:16) 19. (31:17) And consuming the inheritance of help and loving the money too much. (31:25) So, we've seen here the history of the previous generations, what they did and what the consequences that they received from God. (31:39) One thing that is interesting to me is Pharaoh is mentioned in the Qur'an many times. (31:45) But I think, I haven't done serious research on this, but I think Aad and Thamud is mentioned very often. (31:51) Almost every time there is a mention of the previous generation, there is Aad and Thamud. (31:56) And we also know, for instance, Sodom and Gomorrah, the people of Lot. (32:02) They are also mentioned in the Qur'an, but not as often. (32:04) And I used to wonder about that. (32:07) And I see that probably what we see around us happening, you know, tornado, flood, these are all that happens to the people of Aad and Thamud, earthquakes, something that happens very often that most people don't think anymore as God's retribution. (32:27) They think this is a natural phenomenon. (32:30) People don't see the parting of the Red Sea anymore or the city turned upside down. (32:36) But people see tornadoes, people see floods, earthquakes, and I wonder whether that is probably connected to why Aad and Thamud is mentioned. (32:46) Because these are something that to us it is the action of God and things that happen not without any cause. (32:54) There is something behind it. (32:56) Because these are something that to us it is the action of God and things that happen not without any cause. (33:07) There is something behind it. (33:09) Why the earthquake happened in the place where majority of the people are idol worshippers. (33:14) I mean, people who are killed in the earthquakes, if we record the number of earthquakes, I have a book. (33:20) How many people killed in this earthquake, in that place. (33:24) Either they don't believe in God or they are idol worshippers. (33:27) So, that seems to me a reminder that, you know, don't take it for granted. (33:32) This is a punishment from God. (33:34) Most people don't believe it, but it is. (33:38) Also tornadoes and, you know, these are things that happen to other people. (33:51) Number 15, and 16, and 17, and on up to number 20. Speaker 1 (34:06) However, there is nothing wrong with giving that, if you don't use it as hope. (43:49) Okay, I'm glad you brought this up. (46:52) You were excited and worried, but when you believe, then you... (47:37) We seek refuge in God from Satan, the rejected. (47:46) In the name of God, most gracious, most merciful. (47:49) Tonight we start at surah 81, and our teacher is Adib. Speaker 3 (47:58) When the sun is rolled, the stars are crashed into each other. (48:07) The mountains are wiped out. (48:10) The reproduction is halted. (48:13) The beasts are summoned. (48:16) The oceans are set aflame. (48:18) The souls are restored to their bodies. (48:22) The girl who was buried alive is asked, for what crime would she kill? (48:28) The records are made known. (48:32) The heaven is removed. (48:34) Hell is ignited. (48:36) Paradise is presented. (48:39) Every soul will know everything it wrote. (48:48) Here, there is a general description of end of the world and resurrection, but I think there is no sequence in this event. (49:00) Only description, both events. (49:17) God messenger of the covenant. Speaker 1 (49:21) I solemnly... (49:23) Stars crashing... (49:31) We can read it. Speaker 7 (49:33) Yes, I know, but it is so obvious. Speaker 1 (49:38) The mountains are wiped out. Speaker 3 (49:40) Yes, because the harmony, the system will be collapsed, and there will be no gravitation, there will be no any system, and everything will collapse, will catch each other, and this is a description of end of the world. Speaker 1 (50:06) So there will be an implosion? Speaker 7 (50:09) What? Speaker 1 (50:11) There will be an implosion, that sounds like. (50:15) The stars will crash into each other. (50:19) I don't want to give you a rough time. Speaker 3 (50:22) No, no, no, I don't worry about it. Speaker 1 (50:25) In surah 309 it says when a fall, the heavens like falling of a book. (50:31) This is it. (50:33) So it's an implosion, they actually are expecting an implosion. Speaker 3 (50:36) There are two theories about end of this universe, scientific theories. (50:42) According to them, one option, when the universe is expanding, if the expand speed is more than a critical point, the universe cannot come together. (51:02) Forever it will expand. (51:07) But another theory is, the maximum speed is below the critical point, and then after a while, many years later, they say thousands of years or billions of years later, they will come together. (51:27) For example, if you threw a stone from the earth, more than 11 kilometers per second, if the speed is more than 11 kilometers per second, this stone will not come back to the earth. (51:51) But if the speed of the stone is less than 11 kilometers per second, it will come back many kilometers later, it will stop and then will fall on the earth. (52:03) This is gravity law. (52:08) And now from Quran, we understand, we know, that the second theory will occur. (52:16) This theory is called as, what is the opposite of open? Speaker 1 (52:24) Implode. (52:25) Yes, universal theory. Speaker 3 (52:31) Quran's theory is implosion. (52:34) They will come together like the paper of the moon. (52:40) Yes, this is the theory. (52:43) Why will it happen? Speaker 1 (52:44) Creation with explosion. (52:47) What? (52:47) Why will the implosion happen? Speaker 3 (52:50) Because God will say... Speaker 1 (52:57) Not just that. (52:58) Anybody? (53:00) Kitchen? (53:01) Yeah, Emily. (53:02) God will come. (53:04) Yes, there you go. (53:04) Thank you. (53:10) You have to speak fast, yeah? (53:13) Okay, so now we're talking. (53:15) So this implosion will happen because... Speaker 3 (53:20) God's physical existence, when God comes, this universe cannot stand for God's physical existence, and then they will implode. (53:32) Do you have any question about this part? (53:42) If you ask, we can explain. (53:46) Why? Speaker 1 (53:46) It's like pulling teeth, you know? (53:47) It's got the information there, but you have to pull it out. Speaker 3 (53:49) Yes. Speaker 1 (53:51) So do ask him questions. Speaker 3 (53:58) The girl who was buried alive is asked, for what crime was she killed? (54:04) From Quran, we learn that Arabs, they were humiliating women, and they were not glad with the girls when they see girls as a baby. (54:19) They didn't want girls, and they were killing them. (54:24) And this was a very great crime. (54:29) And also now, we can see the extension of this understanding in many places in the world, girls are also the second class. (54:52) And I think killing of girls was because of economy. (55:00) Boys, when they become adults, they could gain money, or they could work, but girls at that time, they couldn't. Speaker 7 (55:44) What's your question, brother? (55:47) Why? Speaker 3 (55:59) There are two ways to interpret, to understand this. (56:04) One way, the beast, when a big event, explosion, or a great shock happens, from here they come together. (56:15) They come together. (56:16) This may be expression of this event, or in hereafter, God also will resurrect all animals. Speaker 1 (56:27) The second interpretation is correct. (56:29) In surah 6, verse 38, you can see that. (56:36) Yes. (56:36) So it's the same word being used, that all the animals will be resurrected, and will be gathered on the day of. (56:45) So if you had a pet or anything, you will meet them all on the day of judgement. (57:18) Yes, the black hole phenomenon is a minute representation of this. (57:22) This is a universal black hole. (57:29) But I want to go back to the 8 and 9 that Beth was asking about. (57:33) I don't like to depress you, but this is actually still happening in Saudi Arabia today. (57:46) I call it a cultural disaster. (57:48) This is why when they walk into this mosque, they are shocked to see a woman's hair. (57:54) They run away. (57:56) They cover up the woman, and they regard them in such a disastrous way that they used to kill the baby girls in the past. (58:08) I had a Saudi friend 10 years ago, who went back to Saudi Arabia, and he came back. (58:14) He was almost crying. (58:16) He said, you can find baby girls in garbage bins now. (58:22) He was from Medina. (58:23) He said, this is in the Prophet's city. (58:27) It's very depressing. (58:31) How will you change a cultural behavior like that? (58:36) If the Quran didn't do it, what is going to do it? (58:41) This will make you understand why they are shocked when they walk in here. (58:46) They make up stories like in Masjid Husan, the men and the women pray side by side, which is not true. (58:53) They make up things like the women lead the prayer in Masjid Husan. (58:57) It's just they have this severe complex that even today these things happen. (59:06) They don't have accurate records of pregnancies or even births. (59:17) This is why it is significant that it is mentioned in this surah and mentioned in other places in the Quran. (59:23) The girl who was buried alive was asked, for what crime was she? (59:31) And of course the hint is for those who commit this horrendous crime. (59:37) It's a demonstration of stupidity. (59:44) So believers don't have that. (59:49) I come across believers once in a while. (59:52) They prefer to have a son over a daughter, and they really suck it to them. (1:00:02) There's no preference whatsoever, as far as God is concerned. (1:00:09) It may even be the other way around. (1:00:11) In fact, there are sayings, I think here in the States, maybe in other countries also, that say the girl brings a son, but the son is taken away by his wife, something to that effect. (1:00:34) Right, something like that. (1:00:36) I've heard it said in different ways. (1:00:53) He should be brought out. (1:00:58) It's such a horrendous crime that the Quran gives it a lot of attention. (1:01:01) It also reflects the kind of mentality that exists there, even now. (1:01:10) Any comments, please? (1:01:17) Exactly, yes, exactly. (1:01:19) I'm glad you mentioned it. (1:01:22) Even the women who survive, they're actually buried alive, the way they demand that they're covered up this way. (1:01:31) Ismail just came from Iran, and how does the street take the ladies? (1:01:38) They have to be covered up. (1:01:42) How is the society in general accepting this? (1:02:03) Did you hear? (1:02:20) Ismail says that there is rebellion against this forced dress in Iran, but they can do nothing about it if they speak. (1:02:30) So it is a terrible oppression. (1:02:32) This is a form of burial, of being buried alive. (1:02:39) What's her name? (1:02:41) 60 Minutes, what's her name? (1:02:42) Diane Sawyer? (1:02:43) Diane Sawyer went to Iran, and she had to, before the plane landed in Iran, she had to cover up her head, and she made a big deal out of it. (1:02:56) It's a double standard. (1:02:57) Go ahead. Speaker 6 (1:02:57) Oh yeah, her daughters. Speaker 1 (1:03:46) Oh, I have on my desk a piece of news from the Arizona newspaper, where in Iran they ordered, no, no, excuse me, in Pakistan, a judge ordered the execution of six people because of sex crimes. (1:04:01) This is the headline. (1:04:03) And when you read the article, you find out that this lady didn't like her husband, so she left him. (1:04:10) According to the Quran, marriage is a contract between two people, and once out, the contract is invalid anymore. (1:04:18) But they don't give this right to the woman, according to the so-called Islamic Sharia. (1:04:25) So I don't know how many months or years later she married somebody else. (1:04:32) Now her former husband complained, and they ruled that she and her new husband have committed adultery, so the judge ordered them stoned to death. (1:04:48) And four of their friends, also stoned to death, because they knew about it. (1:04:55) I have this on my desk. (1:04:57) If you don't believe it, you can read it later. (1:05:00) This is the kind of mentality that is, where the women are oppressed. (1:05:18) May the God feeds for the years. (1:05:22) According to Hadith and Sunnah, the majority of inhabitants of hell, but I'm convinced that the opposite is true. (1:05:30) Because of the oppression that they undergo. (1:05:35) When I served in the Saudi Arabia for the United Nations, I came across a daily program where people send messages, and most of these messages were from women. (1:05:48) I'm telling you, I cried. (1:05:50) I actually cried listening to that program. (1:05:53) Because a typical story would be a woman whose husband disappeared for six months or a year. (1:05:59) She doesn't know where he is. (1:06:01) She's grounded in the apartment or the house or the place that's assigned for her. (1:06:05) And her in-laws bring whatever food or whatever that keeps her alive. (1:06:09) She never leaves the place. (1:06:11) It's just like a prison. (1:06:14) And this is a typical story. (1:06:16) And she's asking for help. (1:06:19) Obviously she snuck out a letter to that radio program. (1:06:26) So it is a tragic situation. (1:06:30) I guess abandoning the Quran is one of the reasons. (1:06:37) Any other comments or questions? (1:06:40) I just want you to know what is happening over there. (1:06:42) So we can thank God for the freedom we have here and the ability to practice the Quran. (1:06:49) Hadith, back to Hadith. Speaker 3 (1:06:53) Yes, verse 15. (1:06:55) God's messenger of the covenant. (1:06:57) I solemnly swear by the galaxies precisely running in their orbits by the night as it falls and the morning as it breathes. (1:07:08) This is the utterance of an honorable messenger authorized by the possessor of the throne fully supported. (1:07:16) He shall be obeyed and trusted. (1:07:19) Your friend Rashad is not crazy. (1:07:22) He saw him at the high horizon. (1:07:24) He's not holding back any news. (1:07:26) It is not the talk of a rejected devil. (1:07:29) Now then, where will you go? (1:07:32) This is a message to all the people. (1:07:35) For those who wish to go straight. (1:07:37) Whatever you will is in accordance with the will of God. (1:07:41) Lord of the universe. (1:07:53) Look at the footnotes. (1:07:56) If you add the number of the chapters plus the geometrical view of Rashad and Khalifa you'll find that this refers to the message because in verse 27 God says in huwa illa zikroondil alameen this is a message to all the people. (1:08:32) And it describes Rashad's experience 20 years ago in 1971 when he was in Mecca. (1:08:48) He had an experience. (1:08:59) In appendix 2 there's a reference you have now. (1:09:10) Now in chapter 3 verse 81 you'll see the prophecy about God's messenger of the covenant. (1:09:23) If you add them to the geometrical view of Rashad and Khalifa you'll find 1311. (1:09:34) This surah is defined in verse 19 God describes the messenger and also if you add them up This is of course very embarrassing to me but I can't afford to hold back any of this. Speaker 1 (1:10:05) It's mainly for the future generation. (1:10:08) Our generation may not be able to stand this kind of news. (1:10:15) As for our people God snuck it on us gradually, very slowly. (1:10:20) So we are able to stand it. (1:10:22) But it really is an awesome responsibility. (1:10:29) I want to read with you page 643. (1:10:32) Why 81? (1:10:36) I want to spare a bit of shyness. (1:10:42) Verse 81 and surah 81. (1:10:43) Number 16 here says God's message of the covenant is prophesied in verse 81 of surah 3. (1:10:49) The addition of the geometrical value of Rashad which is 5 over 5 plus the geometrical value of Khalifa which is 725 plus the verse number 81 produces a total of 1311. (1:11:00) 19 times 69. (1:11:01) Number 17, if you look at surah 81 which is what we're studying tonight we read about a messenger of God who is powerfully supported and authorized by the Almighty. (1:11:11) As we see in verse 19. (1:11:13) Thus verse 81 of surah 3 and surah 81 verse 19 are strongly connected with the name Rashad Khalifa. (1:11:24) As you know when the first hint came out in the first translation authorized English version, a lot of people were up in arms, you know. (1:11:31) Why authorized? (1:11:32) Who authorized this? (1:11:34) But the verse in Arabic here, verse 20 is very clear. (1:11:39) Authorized by the possessor of the throne. (1:11:41) Fully supported. (1:11:43) And now we have these mathematical mathematical proofs. (1:11:47) Quranic and mathematical. (1:11:50) Number 18 on page 643 say if we add the surah numbers plus the number of verses from the beginning of the Quran to verse 381 where the message of the covenant is prophesied the total comes to 380. (1:12:03) 19 times 20. (1:12:05) And this is shown in table 6. (1:12:08) You understand this number 18? (1:12:11) You take the surah numbers and the number of verses from the beginning of the Quran to the place where the message of the covenant is prophesied. (1:12:21) And this gives us 380 a multiple of 19 and as you know 19 is our generation's sign. (1:12:30) Number 19 says the geometrical value of verse 381 is 13148 which is a multiple of 19. (1:12:37) This value is obtained by adding the geometrical values of every letter in the verse. (1:12:42) Number 20 if you look at that portion of verse 381 which refers specifically to the message of the covenant I have it here in Arabic it says a messenger will come to you confirming what you have. (1:12:54) We find that the geometrical value of this key phrase is 836. (1:12:58) 19 times 44. (1:13:01) So this is the connection with surah 81. (1:13:07) This is why I couldn't afford to avoid writing in verse 22 put the name Rashad in parenthesis there and some of you who are familiar with the initial announcement will excuse me for doing this because I just can't afford to hold back. (1:13:33) Those of you who are not familiar with that momentous night I'd be glad to go over it with you again and if you find that this is not acceptable I don't blame you. (1:13:45) It is very difficult to accept but I will be very happy to discuss it with you if you have any questions. (1:13:56) And like I said this is for the future generations it will be easier for them. (1:14:02) I have to share with you a story that will please the believers. (1:14:10) We were staying at Karima and Amir Kulani in San Francisco and they have two children, Shalise she is 8 years old and Paris. (1:14:24) After two days of staying there the neighbor's kids came to the house and asked, where is God's messenger? (1:14:30) Apparently that the Karima and Amir's children were going to the neighbor's house, guess who is sleeping in our house? (1:14:40) And it just reflected how it will be a lot easier for the new generation because they don't have the holdbacks or the hang-ups that we have. (1:14:51) They will grow up and they will look at the whole story objectively they will look at the proofs objectively without anything holding them back. (1:15:02) It pleases us to see the people, the new generation so this here, if you will excuse me for putting it in it is for the new generations. (1:15:14) Most of you will understand anyway. (1:15:18) Back to Adib. Speaker 3 (1:15:19) Do you have any questions about this part? Speaker 1 (1:15:24) If you have any questions don't be shy because you have to bring out all the doubts. (1:15:33) It's interesting that I find (1:15:35) some of these things (1:15:38) happening without me paying attention (1:15:40) like he's not holding back any news (1:15:42) he's not holding back any news (1:15:45) because (1:15:46) I'm not holding back anything (1:15:48) I want everything to be clear and open (1:15:50) and then I (1:15:51) read the verse and I say yeah this is what is happening (1:15:55) and the point (1:15:56) that Lisa raised (1:15:57) of (1:15:59) obey and trust (1:16:01) we should be obeyed and trust (1:16:03) it is not the person (1:16:07) it's (1:16:07) obey and trust because we are receiving information (1:16:09) from God (1:16:11) this is why God (1:16:13) placed the commandment of obeying God and obeying the messenger (1:16:15) together throughout the Quran (1:16:17) because I'm just as excited as you (1:16:19) when we receive (1:16:21) new information that straightened (1:16:25) everything that we were doing (1:16:27) we were doing lots of things wrong (1:16:28) and God's mercy (1:16:31) sees to it that we changed (1:16:33) our ways to the correct way (1:16:35) so this is where (1:16:37) obeying and trusting comes (1:16:40) your friend (1:16:41) is not crazy (1:16:43) this ties in with the (1:16:47) other statement the Quran says (1:16:49) I've lived with you many years (1:16:51) in other words this is a quotation (1:16:53) in the Quran do you remember it? (1:16:54) I forget what it is exactly (1:16:57) but what it (1:16:58) says is that here is a person who has been with you (1:17:00) for many years (1:17:01) and you know he is not crazy (1:17:04) because a person who (1:17:05) is not a messenger of God who claims to be a messenger (1:17:08) of God will have to be crazy (1:17:10) if he is not a messenger (1:17:12) he will be a person who has (1:17:13) no belief that he will meet God (1:17:16) someday and will be asked by (1:17:17) God about everything he is doing (1:17:21) or he is a (1:17:22) person who doesn't have any mental capacity (1:17:24) whatsoever (1:17:25) and the statement that (1:17:27) I've lived with you many years is because (1:17:30) I got to know you, we know each other (1:17:33) and obviously (1:17:34) I'm not crazy (1:17:35) or mentally retarded (1:17:38) so this statement (1:17:40) your friend is not crazy (1:17:43) ties in (1:17:44) with that I stayed with you for a number of years (1:17:46) it is God's design (1:17:49) to (1:17:50) appoint messengers after the (1:17:52) age of 40 (1:17:52) this has been consistent except with the prophet Jesus (1:17:57) for special reasons (1:17:59) but every messenger was appointed (1:18:00) after the age of 40 so he lived among his people (1:18:02) for 40 years (1:18:03) they knew him as a normal person who was a merchant or a shepherd (1:18:07) going about his business (1:18:08) you know he is a normal person (1:18:09) all of a sudden he says I'm God's messenger (1:18:12) and invariably they accuse him of being crazy (1:18:15) so he says I lived with you (1:18:16) so many years and (1:18:18) you didn't know that I was crazy (1:18:19) so why do you call me crazy now? (1:18:22) going to examine what I'm saying 10-10? (1:18:28) 10-3 yes (1:18:31) 10-16 (1:18:32) yes (1:18:34) so this is the idea (1:18:36) because if you (1:18:37) if a person lives with you for so many years (1:18:39) you know him closely (1:18:41) and you know very well he's not crazy (1:18:45) then (1:18:46) then he's either (1:18:47) he's really a God's messenger (1:18:49) or he's a very very bad person (1:18:51) who is trying to trick God (1:18:53) it's one of the extremes (1:18:56) nothing in between (1:18:57) I saw him at the high horizon (1:19:05) you saw him at the high horizon (1:19:09) the footnote 8123 (1:19:11) says Rashad Tarifa was summoned to the high horizon (1:19:13) as detailed in appendix 2 (1:19:15) and this has to do with (1:19:17) the fact that I was summoned (1:19:19) and I was (1:19:20) I was passive at the time (1:19:22) but all the prophets (1:19:25) fulfilled their covenant (1:19:27) which is (1:19:28) recognizing, acknowledging, supporting (1:19:30) and believing in the message of the covenant Speaker 6 (1:19:32) yes, it was on the high horizon Speaker 1 (1:19:39) exactly where I (1:19:40) I don't know, but it was out of this (1:19:42) it was in the place where the souls are (1:19:47) where the chances are (1:19:49) it's in the seventh (1:19:51) or the first universe, if you consider ours (1:19:52) the seventh universe (1:19:55) that fulfillment of the covenant (1:19:56) occurred in the first universe (1:19:59) and (1:20:00) in the last conference, as you know (1:20:01) I shared it with you in detail (1:20:03) and I'm glad to share it with anybody in detail (1:20:06) at any time (1:20:08) but most of you know (1:20:10) those of you who don't know it (1:20:11) I'd be glad to share it with you again (1:20:12) but briefly I was summoned to the first universe (1:20:16) I sat in a place (1:20:17) and all the prophets one by one (1:20:21) acknowledged me (1:20:22) as God's messenger of the covenant (1:20:24) I was told they were all the prophets (1:20:27) I was not given the identity (1:20:28) of any of them except Ibrahim (1:20:30) because of his resemblance to my (1:20:32) own family (1:20:33) I was taken aback by this man who looks like (1:20:36) us, you know, my uncles, my father (1:20:39) and I was (1:20:40) told, there was no speaking at all (1:20:42) mentally, I was told this is Ibrahim (1:20:45) other than that (1:20:46) I was told that these are all the prophets (1:20:48) that included Noah, Jesus, Moses (1:20:50) David, Solomon (1:20:51) all of them (1:20:53) so this is what 23 of 23 refers to (1:20:56) if you read appendix 2 (1:20:58) it will give you (1:21:10) where are the prophets now? (1:21:14) let's see what happens (1:21:21) in other words, those who are (1:21:35) known to be (1:21:37) to deserve guidance (1:21:39) would accept this information (1:21:42) people who are (1:21:43) willed by God to be guided (1:21:53) should be clear, so this is a message (1:21:55) to all the people, for those who wish to go (1:21:57) straight (1:21:58) you know when you pray everyday, you say (1:22:00) guide us on the straight path (1:22:03) the right path (1:22:05) so those who wish to go straight (1:22:07) would accept this heavy information (1:22:08) this is very heavy information (1:22:16) ok, when you look at any (1:22:18) person, there is an invisible (1:22:20) stamp on their forehead that says (1:22:22) heaven or hell (1:22:24) the person who stamped hell (1:22:25) on the forehead (1:22:27) there is nothing you can do to guide them (1:22:30) and the people who are stamped heaven (1:22:31) God knows, only God knows who is (1:22:33) going to heaven and who is going to hell (1:22:36) so (1:22:37) the person who is stamped hell (1:22:40) or misguided (1:22:41) there is no way you can make them understand (1:22:44) the person who is (1:22:45) stamped heaven (1:22:47) would see this and would accept it right away (1:22:50) they would see that (1:22:51) there is nothing wrong with it (1:22:52) it is in accordance with the Quran (1:22:54) there is sufficient proof (1:22:57) they may hold (1:22:59) their judgment for a while (1:23:00) until they examine the evidence and so on (1:23:09) no, it refers to you and me and anybody (1:23:13) whatever you people will (1:23:14) is in accordance with the will of God (1:23:16) Lord of the Universe (1:23:30) we always talked about it (1:23:34) when we are born (1:23:35) God knows already (1:23:37) the people who (1:23:40) did not side with Satan (1:23:41) during that great feud (1:23:43) they didn't really side with Satan (1:23:44) remember the football, my last football (1:23:46) some people went along with the crowd (1:23:51) but in their heart they did not side with Satan (1:23:54) so these people deserve to be guided (1:23:57) they deserve to be redeemed (1:23:59) and they are put in circumstances (1:24:02) that (1:24:02) bring them in touch with this message (1:24:04) for example (1:24:06) when they are both assigned (1:24:08) to a certain house, certain parents (1:24:11) to grow up under (1:24:12) certain circumstances (1:24:13) and then the result would be that they are guided (1:24:16) because they deserve to be guided Speaker 6 (1:25:35) it is an obstacle (1:25:38) say it again Speaker 1 (1:25:52) yeah, table 5 must be (1:25:57) from the previous page (1:26:02) this copy (1:26:03) is just dealing with the number 81 (1:26:05) because this is surah 81 (1:26:13) the locust playing havoc with the grocer Speaker 3 (1:26:15) now Douglas said Speaker 1 (1:26:25) that this is (1:26:27) lucky for us because (1:26:29) actually (1:26:31) we have no idea (1:26:32) how lucky our generation is (1:26:35) because this (1:26:36) puts us in a place where (1:26:38) we can belong with the elite (1:26:40) of the elite (1:26:42) the elite of the elite (1:26:44) in the Quran (1:26:44) those who are especially close to God (1:26:48) are the people (1:26:50) of the first generation whenever a messenger comes (1:26:52) Abraham or Ishmael (1:26:54) or (1:26:56) Jesus (1:26:57) or Moses (1:27:13) the elite of the elite are the people who (1:27:27) exist at the same time (1:27:29) when the message is new (1:27:31) and the people are rejecting it (1:27:33) and (1:27:35) are being persecuted for accepting this message (1:27:37) which is worshiping God alone (1:27:39) accepting the word of God alone, it is a very heavy (1:27:41) responsibility and the people (1:27:43) who accept it are very very very (1:27:46) fortunate (1:27:48) because they are (1:27:49) the elite of the elite (1:27:51) for eternity (1:27:53) and you are not born at this time (1:27:55) by coincidence, there is a reason for it (1:27:57) obviously you deserve it (1:28:00) but (1:28:01) to say that we are lucky or fortunate (1:28:03) is the understatement of the century Speaker 6 (1:28:08) it is really Speaker 1 (1:28:09) a very very exciting part (1:28:11) of history (1:28:11) I am just talking as a person (1:28:16) God happens to (1:28:17) want us to know certain information (1:28:19) to correct our path (1:28:21) and God's system as we learn from the Quran (1:28:23) is that he selects one of us to (1:28:25) distribute the information through one of us (1:28:28) and doesn't (1:28:29) make this one of us any (1:28:31) better or worse or special (1:28:33) there is no (1:28:34) and we have many lessons of the Quran (1:28:37) indicating this, Moses one of the great messengers (1:28:39) God sent a teacher (1:28:42) in human form (1:28:43) he could have been a human (1:28:44) probably he was an angel (1:28:46) but God didn't tell us if he was a human or an angel (1:28:49) the fact is that Moses existed (1:28:51) and there was another (1:28:52) servant of God who taught him a few things (1:28:56) so it's just (1:28:57) a system whereby God distributes (1:29:00) disseminates information (1:29:01) to all of us, we are a very (1:29:05) fortunate generation indeed (1:29:47) I think we lived these very exciting (1:29:50) times and we've seen how (1:29:52) the information comes (1:29:54) as we needed it (1:29:55) at the right time (1:29:57) before printing the Quran we were working on the appendix (1:30:00) about the two false verses (1:30:01) Mahmoud Habib and Abdullah Harik (1:30:04) and Ismail Barakat and Firooz Karmali (1:30:05) and Ghatoud were coming (1:30:07) with information, there was just pouring information (1:30:10) coming, the evidence (1:30:11) very powerful and amazing (1:30:13) we just couldn't catch our breath (1:30:15) and now that the book is in the press (1:30:18) they are very quiet aren't they (1:30:20) do you hear anything (1:30:22) from Mahmoud or Abdullah (1:30:23) no? (1:30:24) but the information came at the right time it was just amazing I mean I will be I will start the computer and I will be working on this subject and they will walk in with the information as I'm just about to put my fingers on the keyboard to type this is what Abdullah is talking about information comes as we need it and this is why we are so positive about God's signs we don't have doubts
