42) Quran Study:

Interview with Rashad by Ray Catton, Insurance-Interest ... - Rashad Khalifa

Speaker 5 (0:01) ...anybody or anything that the gentleman mentioned. Speaker 1 (0:05) So, if I... (0:28) ...that the people who hate me this morning will love me at night, will break God's law. (0:41) We are all Muslims. (0:43) And I love you for it. (0:44) You are very enthusiastic. (0:46) And I love you for it. (0:47) And I hope at the end we will still have hope. (0:49) I may have a different opinion than you, you may have a different opinion than mine. (0:54) But I'm convinced, and I really mean it, that you are sincere people. (0:58) And I know that you are here not in a nice club, or working as dancers, or breaking God's law in any way. (1:05) You are in the same positions as you. (1:12) And I find you in the same circumstances that you are having to do it. (1:16) And we change. (1:17) People change, because we learn. (1:19) Otherwise there is no use of it. (1:32) Guide me to the truth, and guide you to the truth. (1:35) And we'll be sincere, insha'Allah, in such a way. Speaker 4 (1:55) In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Speaker 1 (2:12) Praise be to God. (2:13) And I bear witness that there is no god but Allah, And I bear witness that there is no god except the One God. (2:23) Our topic this morning is why... (2:29) This is Canada, not America. (2:30) They are going to say anything they want. (2:34) This is not Egypt or Iraq. (2:43) The topic this morning is why are we here? (2:48) What is our objective? (2:50) Are we here to go to school and get a degree? (2:52) And make a lot of money? (2:53) And build a big house? (2:55) And have a beautiful wife? (2:57) And a lot of children? (3:00) Are we here for this? (3:01) To make a lot of money? (3:02) And have a nice home? (3:03) What are we here for? (3:25) I did not create. (4:00) The only people who can escape the grip of Iblis, are the people who are totally devoted to Allah. (4:16) Iblis swore that he will come from in front of us. (4:44) Unfortunately, he succeeded. (4:46) To a great extent. (4:48) And this is recorded in the Quran. (4:50) And we see it in light. (4:52) Of all the followers of Jesus Christ, how many billions follow him? (4:56) And he really wants to be followed. (4:59) How many Christians believe that Jesus is the messenger of God? (5:02) And how many believe that he is not a part of God but a part of the Trinity? (5:11) This is what Iblis said to them. (5:15) Iblis convinced them that they love him so much, that he must be greater than a human being. (5:25) Satan came to them from their right, from their left, from their front, from their back. (5:30) And you see the result. (5:45) They have no respect for any of the prophets. (5:47) And historically, as recorded in the Quran, the Jews killed their prophets. (5:51) They have absolutely no respect for them. (5:53) But Satan, Iblis, turned around. (5:55) And he made them reverent and worship their scholars. (6:01) They set up their rabbis and their priests as gods besides God. (6:08) How? (6:10) The Ahbar and the Rabbis and the priests wrote for them the Talmud. (6:42) They set up them and they read the words of God, the Quran. (6:53) With the Christians, Satan beset them by the millions. (6:59) You can stand here and say, are those millions upon millions? (7:03) You can say that. (7:05) And of course they are wrong. (7:06) And it's because of Iblis. (7:08) And because idol worship is very subtle. (7:17) You will not see it. (7:18) And if you hold on to idol worship, if I hold on to idol worship, we will see it. (7:35) Idol worship is so hidden that you and I swear, my God, that we are not idol worshipers. (7:42) And until the Day of Judgment, some people will swear by God. (7:58) Then we say to the idol worshipers, where are your idols now to help you? (8:13) The only answer would be, we swear by God, our Lord, we were not idol worshipers. (8:21) I mean, I can lie to somebody. (8:23) I can lie to others. (8:30) I am not an idol worshiper. (8:32) I swear by God, my Lord, that I am not an idol worshiper. (8:37) And by God, our Lord, we are not idol worshipers. (8:47) We learn in Surah An-Naml, Surah 16, verse 22, that what we say with our mouths does not mean a thing. (8:55) I can say I believe in God. (8:56) I believe in the Hereafter. (8:58) But my heart inside may deny that. (9:01) Ilaahukum ilaahun wahad. (9:03) Your God is one God. (9:04) Those who do not believe in the Hereafter, their hearts inside are denying what they say with their mouths. (9:18) How do we know this? (10:02) The other way is to find out now. (10:18) God is the one who provides for you. (10:20) God is the one who will separate your life. (10:23) God is the one who will resurrect you. (10:25) So, you and I must find the message of the Quran. (10:35) This does not mean a thing. (10:52) What are the characteristics? (10:53) How do we find out? (10:56) I will put myself on trial. (10:58) I will say, Rasul Kareemah, you are an idol worshiper, but you don't know. (11:03) And I want to prove very hard. (11:11) And you come to me and say, Rasul Kareemah, you are an idol worshiper. (11:14) If I am smart, I will say, wait a minute, maybe I am. (11:26) I must actually set out to prove that I am an idol worshiper. (11:30) And to not be convinced until I fail to prove that I am an idol worshiper. (11:34) I have to put myself on trial. (11:53) We provide criteria to tell us. (11:56) Am I an idol worshiper or not? (12:00) I have to assert that I am. (12:03) Because we are free in this world to say anything. (12:06) We are free to believe in anything. (12:08) And this is our chance to correct any error or any mistake that you may call it. (12:15) The first criteria we find in Surah Az-Zumar. (12:22) Surah 39, verse 45. (12:25) And here is the criteria. (12:26) It says, When God alone is mentioned. (12:37) The hearts of those who do not believe in the Hereafter. (12:40) Remember the verse, The hearts of those who do not believe in the Hereafter become upset. (12:47) They become upset. (12:49) When God alone is mentioned, they become upset. (12:53) So I have to ask myself, Rasul Kareemah, you are an idol worshiper. (12:56) And I want to apply this criteria to you. (12:58) If God alone is mentioned, do you become upset? (13:02) I am asking myself. (13:04) If I am upset, according to this Qur'anic criteria, because I say I am not alone, then I must accuse myself of being an idol worshiper. (13:14) I must be convinced that I am an idol worshiper. (13:17) Because the Qur'an says so. (13:32) Am I to get upset? (13:33) Am I going to kill this person? (13:35) Or what am I going to do? (13:37) This will show you if you are an idol worshiper or not. (13:41) You conform to this criteria or not. (13:44) This is half the criteria. (13:46) The second half says, When someone else is mentioned with Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala, they become happy. (14:08) The one must be devoted to Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala alone, without anything else with Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala. (14:19) So I have to put myself on trial and apply this criteria. (14:21) There is another criteria that conforms to this. (14:25) In Surah Fatir, Verses 10 through 12 says, Those who disbelieve are called to their judgment, your abhorrence of your own self, excuse me, the abhorrence of God towards you is a lot worse than your abhorrence of your own self. (14:53) Because you are invited to Iman, faith, but you refuse. (14:59) Zalu, they said, They said, Our Lord, you gave us two deaths and two lives. (15:14) Is there any way out? (15:15) And now we confess our sins. (15:17) Is there any way out? (15:19) Is there any way out of Hell? (15:21) And listen to the answer, please. (15:23) Listen to the answer. (15:25) Because this is what I would ask myself to find out if I am one of those or not. (15:29) The answer is, That is because when God alone is advocated, you disbelieve. (15:43) And when you add some other names to Him, you believe. (15:49) So this is the number one criterion. (15:59) The second criterion found ironically in the 10th number verse, verse 45. (16:20) When God alone is mentioned, the person is upset. (16:26) This is in verse 45 of surah 39. (16:29) And verse 45 of surah 17 is the second criterion. (16:34) It says, The same word. (16:43) We put between you and those who do not believe in the Hereafter an invisible wall. (16:51) When you read the Quran, we put between you and those who do not believe in the Hereafter an invisible wall. (17:04) And we put on their hearts, on their minds, shields to prevent them from understanding the Quran. (17:14) They cannot get one word of Quran because Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala set out to put a veil on their minds to prevent them, to actively prevent them from seeing the Quran. (17:28) They can be professors of Arabic linguistics in the College of Sharia, the College of Arabic Languages, from the Quran because of what is in their hearts. (17:43) That they in their hearts deny what their mouth says that they are believers. (17:47) If you read the Quran, when you read the Quran, we place between you and those who do not believe in the Hereafter an invisible wall. (18:03) And we place shields on their hearts or minds to prevent them from understanding. (18:11) And deafness in their ears. (18:13) Doesn't matter what you say, they cannot hear what you say. (18:21) And here is a very important part of the Quran. (18:28) على وصلوا وحده القرآن في ربك ذكرت وإذا أجباره and the Lord. (18:34) When you praise your Lord, you read the Quran alone. (18:50) I'm only reading the Quran. (19:00) ربك ذكرت وإذا I'm trying to find out if I am an idol or not. (19:05) And here is the question. your praise you when And) 19:11 (.Lord the and إذا ذكرت ربك في القرآن وحده وصلوا على أجباره (19:07) Lord you read the Quran alone. (19:15) أجباره على وصلوا وحده القرآن and the Lord. ربك. (19:23) وإذا ذكرت ربك وحده في القرآن وحده to refers وحده word the that believe people Some) 19:19( أجباره على وصلوا and the Lord. (19:28) If you praise your Lord alone in the Quran alone, without anything else besides the Quran, they turn away their person. (19:35) They don't like it. (19:35) This is my story. (19:36) If they don't like it, they don't suffer. (19:37) If you praise your Lord, you read the Quran. (19:56) على وصلوا وحده القرآن في ربك ذكرت وإذا .وحده وصلوا على أجباره means This) 20:02 (.Lord the and أجباره (20:04) But we see in surah number 60 We see in surah 60 verse 3 and 4 telling his people that we will be with enemies. (20:49) وحده which is 20:52) .المنصوب (It's the same. وإذا ذكرت ربك في القرآن وحده وصلوا على (20:58) 4. verse in Quran the to is وحده of reference The) 20:52( أجباره I've described the Quran as loving Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala most of all. (21:23) And this to put myself on trial and find out if I am an idol worshipper or not. (21:28) That I may be an idol worshipper who is unaware I have to check my heart and see how I respond to Allah and somebody else. (21:39) And unfortunately in many Muslim gatherings you say the word Allah and dead silence. (21:46) But then you say the word Muhammad and you hear that and you hear that Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala Therefore Therefore I have to put myself on trial and see how I respond to Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala more or to another entity more. (22:06) There are various criteria. (22:23) The source of the Quran And you see no way to go to heaven unless you follow the message. (24:47) Anyone who is a messenger of God, the Messenger of God, anyone who is obeys God and His Messenger, the Prophet Muhammad, cannot go to heaven without Muhammad. Speaker 4 (25:10) And we leave the less wanted into a positive place. Speaker 1 (25:16) Just listen to one speaker and then we have a chance to come back. (25:19) The wicked person who was headed for Caliph, he has led me away from the message, which is opposite of the Qur'an. (25:46) After I heard this, as I said at the beginning of the lecture, it is because of Satan, because of the belief. (26:01) Obviously, there was no Qur'an before the Prophet. (26:04) Obviously, the Qur'an was directed by people who received the Qur'an. (26:11) People who follow the message received the Qur'an and deserved it. (26:19) Against the Prophet, from among the criminals. (26:28) And this exactly is the verse that is found in the first criterion to find out if I am an idol-multiple or not. (26:36) We find that in Surah Al-An'am, number 6, verses 112-116. (26:43) It says exactly the same words. (26:46) We set up against every prophet, and this includes the final prophet, enemy, Satan. (26:54) Satan and jinns. (26:56) Humans and jinns themselves. (27:01) Who tell each other some fancy words to be seen. (27:09) And they are taking those words to the Prophet. (27:15) Had your Lord willed, they would not have done that. (27:19) Why does God will that these enemies of the Prophet fabricate lies? (27:24) Why did He will that? (27:30) In fact, I can say the same words. (27:34) In order for the minds of those who do not really believe to listen to those fabrications, and to be happy with them, to accept these fabrications. (27:48) And to really commit what they are supposed to commit. (27:51) Because there are people who say, we are Muslims, we believe. (27:55) I believe in God, I believe in the Hereafter. (27:57) I believe in the final prophet. (27:58) I believe in all the messengers. (28:00) But, in the heart of denying what the Lord has said, they are not even aware. (28:06) They don't know. (28:09) So, these fabrications, Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala wills that they exist in the world, in order to tell us whether I am a real believer or a false believer. (28:25) So, how do we know that this has to do with utterances different than the Quran? (28:35) The next verse tells us that. (28:37) The next ayah says, Do I speak other than Allah, as a source of wisdom for an adult? (28:51) When He sends down to you this book, fully detailed. (28:58) Why do you go to another source? (29:01) This is what the verse is saying. (29:02) And this is the criterion that tells me whether I am an idol worshipper or not. (29:06) The second criterion tells us, This criterion says, Do I speak other than Allah, subhanahu wa ta'ala, as a source of wisdom? (29:20) When He sends down to us this book, fully detailed. (29:23) There is no other translation for the word Mufassan. (29:28) And the verse goes on to say that even Christians and Jews recognize that this book is from Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala. (29:38) The verse before that, by the way, ends by saying, That the commandment to you and to me is to abandon these fabrications, that are done by the enemies of the Prophet, and they are fancying the Prophet himself, and they are calling the Quran as fabrications. (30:00) The next verse confirms the verse that says that the Quran is Mufassan, fully detailed. (30:09) The words of your Lord is complete in truth and substance. (30:13) So it makes sense that if I believe God when He says that the book is detailed, if I believe God when He says that the book is complete, There is one more verse that I would like to read to you. (30:38) That if you go to any other soul besides the Quran, you are setting up another God besides Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala. (30:47) This is what the Quran says, this is what Allah says. (30:50) It says, what are you saying in akhbaru shahada? (30:53) Whose testimony is best? (30:55) Who is that? (30:56) The God whose testimony is the best. (31:02) Let me read the verse so I don't make any mistakes. (31:05) Look, my name. (31:17) What is given to me to preach to you and to whomever I preach it. (31:26) You set up another God besides Allah. (31:42) There is Allah's God whose testimony is the best. (31:46) He is the witness between me and you. (31:52) And I was given this Quran to preach to you with it and whomever I preach it. (32:07) The Prophet himself said, I was given the Quran to preach to you and all the generations after that until the end of the world. (32:15) What is the connection between I was given this Quran to preach to you and you are setting up another God besides Allah. (32:37) One God. (32:39) He is only one God. (32:40) I never make any mistake before and I withdraw anything you say. (32:46) Where is the strongest oath in the Quran? (32:50) The strongest swearing in the Quran. (33:10) There are many kinds of swearing in the Quran. (33:13) But the absolute, the most powerful, the strongest swearing in the Quran we find in Surah Al-Haqqah, Surah 69. (33:21) It says, I swear by what you see. (33:29) And what you do not see. (33:31) Now there is nothing stronger than that. (33:33) God, Allah Subh'anaHu Wa Ta-A'la is swearing by what you see. (33:37) Everything you see and everything you do not see. (33:40) Which means what? (33:41) I swear by everything. (33:42) This is absolutely the most powerful oath in the Quran. (33:50) This Quran is the utterance of an honorable messenger. (33:56) It is not the utterance of a poet. (34:00) Rarely do you believe. (34:04) It is not the utterance of a true saint. (34:10) Rarely do you take heed. (34:14) A revelation from the Lord of the worlds. (34:52) This word came out of the final prophet's mouth. (34:56) He said, I swear by what you see and what you do not see. (35:01) This is the utterance of an honorable messenger. (35:05) Obviously the Quran says, This is the utterance of an honorable messenger. (35:11) It is not the utterance of a poet. (35:14) Rarely do you believe this. (35:16) Nor the utterance of a true saint. (35:19) Rarely do you take heed. (35:21) This is Allah's announcement. (35:24) The majority of human beings will not take heed. (35:33) That is the honor of a messenger. (35:35) If the honor of a messenger is other than any other word, he will be fired as a prophet, and none of you can protect him from me. Speaker 2 (38:20) So what did Ibrahim contribute, being the father of Islam? (38:24) We find out by studying the Quran carefully that he contributed all religious practices of Islam. (38:31) The Prophet Muhammad contributed the Quran. (38:34) The Quran came through Muhammad's mouth and that was his contribution. (38:39) And this is also why, at the beginning of (38:41) and this is also why, at the beginning of (38:44) in what was revealed before the Quran because what among the things revealed (38:50) before Quran was the practical scripture given to Ibrahim there was no (38:55) reading or writing in Ibrahim's time and he was given a practical mostly (38:59) practical scripture consisting of the duties that we practice now in Islam Speaker 3 (39:10) Question number 7 there are two verses in Quran surah 60, 7, 8 and 9, surah 5, 85 and 82 (39:22) basically these refer to the believer not trusting the Jews (39:36) the question that was asked is whether or not a person who is a believing Muslim (39:42) should live in a country that is suppressing Islam and supporting that (39:49) country by paying taxes, creating business, should he stay there live or (39:55) should he move to another better environment more Islamic environment? Speaker 2 (40:02) well if the person is oppressed and cannot practice his religion he cannot (40:06) pray and cannot fast and cannot give to charity and cannot go to Hajj he should (40:12) move on to another place but this is about the only condition to say you (40:18) shall not befriend Christians and Jews and that the Quran says so would be like (40:23) saying you shall not pray because the Quran says you shall not pray however (40:30) if you complete the sentence it will say you shall not pray while drunk and the (40:35) same with that statement you shall not befriend the Jews and Christians it (40:38) should be the sentence or the statement should be completed as follows you shall (40:41) not befriend the Jews and Christians who oppress you and persecute you because of (40:46) your religion. (40:48) Towards the end of surah number 60 which you mentioned (40:52) specifically the Quran says that God does not forbid you from befriending (40:56) those who do not fight you and do not evict you from your homes so we must take (41:02) the total picture in mind and we must never tell half truth or half the (41:08) statements of Quran it's very dangerous so we are not God does not forbid us (41:14) from befriending the Jews, Christians or anyone else who do not fight us what (41:23) other parts of the question I have something else to say I know that. Speaker 3 (41:28) It's whether or not a person should stay. Speaker 2 (41:30) Oh yes about staying in a country for example some people say (41:33) that this country is not Islamic or oppressive talking about the United (41:36) States but in my mind the United States is about the most Islamic country in the (41:41) world because the person is free to worship God in any way they want to the (41:48) extent that if you if you are in Egypt or Saudi Arabia or one of those (41:53) countries and you really speak up for the true Islam which is upholding Quran (41:59) nothing but Quran your life is actually endangered so it seems to me that the (42:07) United States is a lot more Islamic than Saudi Arabia by using that measure (42:13) so people who think that this country is oppressing or hampering their Islam in Speaker 3 (42:22) any way they should think twice. (42:26) Question number eight what is the importance of three times washing as opposed to wash so clean? Speaker 2 (42:32) Oh it's not important there is no specific number the Quran says all you who believe when you get up to pray wash your faces your hands to the elbows wipe your hair and wash your feet that's it there's no specific number of washes one will do two may do whatever you feel is necessary. Speaker 3 (42:54) Question number nine does it do any good to pray for the dead? Speaker 2 (42:58) No it all depends on the person's deeds that person whatever he or she did during this life is what counts if the whole world bands together to pray for Abu Lahab it will not help him one bit and if a person is righteous his righteousness will benefit him. Speaker 3 (43:25) Number 11 the word riba meaning interest does this mean excess excessive interest or just interest? Speaker 2 (43:35) Any interest that is fixed and guaranteed is considered usually riba but if it fluctuates as a result of investing then this is what is halal what is all right so the key thing here is fixed and guaranteed this makes it riba even if it's 1% 10% whatever. Speaker 3 (43:57) So while we're on the subject of money could you expand a little bit on mortgage and insurance? Speaker 2 (44:05) The Quran is consistent in saying that it is the (44:09) taking of riba that is haram when you take interest it is haram but if you are (44:17) forced by circumstances to pay interest to anybody you are considered a victim (44:23) the Quran considers you a victim you are not committing a sin there is the (44:30) overall rule that says if you are forced by circumstance without being deliberate (44:35) or malicious then you are not committing a sin so if you are forced to pay (44:39) interest that is not haram what is haram consistently in Quran is the taking of (44:44) riba not the paying of riba. (44:49) Insurance is considered haram because of many (44:53) reasons first of all it is a game of chance gambling second it indicates lack (45:01) of knowledge about God because if you know then you know that if you are with (45:08) God nothing bad will happen to you God will take care of you (45:11) is God not sufficient for his servant and also insurance indicates (45:18) lack of confidence in God so there is more to it than just a game of chance (45:26) however if you are forced again if you are forced by circumstance without being (45:30) deliberate or malicious and you cannot help it you have to have insurance for (45:34) some reason or it is forced on you then you are not committing a sin. Speaker 3 (45:39) Just to broaden the question a bit more on mortgage in terms of loans if a person wants to gain more material wealth by expanding his business and goes into debt by borrowing money to expand this business to the point where you might call it excessive greedy is this allowable? Speaker 2 (46:05) If you write down a project (46:07) that you want to build apartment complex or invest in something and to do (46:14) this you have to have a loan of some kind and then you go to the bank or a (46:19) friend or anybody any source of money and they tell you you have to pay (46:24) interest however if you take the loan you know (46:28) that you will make this investment grow and will bring you a lot of income and a (46:33) lot of money it is perfectly all right that you go ahead and get the loan and (46:37) invest it and make your money grow and pay the interest because in surah 16 (46:43) we see that the Quran very clearly says that the believing the rich believer is (46:48) better than the weak and poor believer. (46:52) It is in Satan's best interest to keep (46:54) you poor and unable to further the cause of God in any way or (47:01) increase your knowledge in any way or benefit from God's provisions so it is (47:06) perfectly all right if you write down the project that requires a lot of money (47:11) to be invested that will make you a lot of money make you a millionaire or (47:15) whatever it is perfectly right to get that loan and pay the interest on it (47:20) and invest and carry out the project. Speaker 3 (47:26) Next question. (47:27) We are told in the Sunnah religion that ladies cannot attend mosque or touch Qurans while on their menstruation period. Speaker 2 (47:38) This is Satan's favorite trick. (47:41) Satan realizes that the woman is three quarters of the society because the woman teaches the children she is a mother and Satan tried very hard to keep the women oppressed and ignorant. (47:56) One good example is the Sunnah religion's way of keeping the women from going to the Jumu'ah prayer, the Friday prayer for example. (48:07) Even though Allah subhanahu wa'ta'ala in Quran says oh you who believe, when the Jumu'ah prayer is due, drop your business and go to the Jumu'ah prayer. (48:16) It says ya ayyuhan ladheena aamanu, oh you who believe. (48:19) It doesn't say oh you believing men or oh you men. (48:22) So Satan by injecting this Sunnah or Hadith or whatever it is and succeeding in forbidding the women from going to Jumu'ah, he kept them ignorant and also their children are kept ignorant because you go to work from eight to five and you leave the children, your children with their mother at home and she teaches them. (48:47) So we had a good example here in Tucson the other day. (48:51) Three Saudi young men came to buy a car and Kathleen told them to come to the Quranic study and they said oh we know the Quran, very quite confident. (49:03) And then she asked one of them how many surahs are in Quran? (49:07) And he didn't know. (49:08) Such a basic knowledge of even the outside appearance of Quran, let alone the inside. (49:17) And this is a perfect example, a result of that person's mother being ignorant, too ignorant to teach him about Quran, its characteristics, and its contents. Speaker 3 (49:31) What are the importance of washing your feet five times a day? (49:35) In the Sunnah religion we're taught that if a person has made wudu in the morning and put socks on, it's not necessary to wash your feet again, during the day that is. Speaker 2 (49:47) Well back to that verse in surah number five, verse number six, says oh you who believe, when you get up for the prayer, wash your faces, your arms to the elbows, wipe your hair, and wash your feet. (49:59) And all we can say is yes sir, if you are to obey God and the words that came out of God's Messenger, you will say yes sir, and do these four steps, no more no less. (50:12) Satan's objective is to make you disobey and deviate from God's orders in any way. (50:18) And Satan succeeded to a great extent with the Muslim masses, most of them have nine steps of wudu, even though Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala gives them four steps, they have nine steps, so they better be prepared on the Day of Judgment to answer that question from Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala when he tells them I have given you four steps of wudu, why did you do nine? (50:41) You better be ready to answer that. (50:43) Who is the other God that told them to do nine steps in wudu instead of four? (50:49) Because Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala told them four steps, there is some other God, whoever it is, who told them to do nine steps. (50:57) So washing the feet is clearly stated in the wudu, surah number five verse six. Speaker 3 (51:04) Can Muslims give their organs or blood as donations? Speaker 2 (51:09) Yes, definitely, because the body is not important at all, once we leave the body, the body is like a garment that we are wearing, and if it is going to help another human being, by all means, go ahead and do it. (51:23) Just like if you take off your shirt, an old shirt, you're going to throw it away, then you worry about if somebody's going to take the sleeve or the collar, or what. Speaker 3 (51:34) The last question is freedom of choice. (51:41) God tells us that he can guide whom he wants and mislead whom he wants. (51:47) Why are we created if we don't have, if God already knows what our destiny is? Speaker 2 (51:55) Yeah, this is a good question, this indicates that God did not create us to see who is going to believe and who is not, who will not believe. (52:05) Because God knows, God happens to know exactly what every human being is going to do, believe or disbelieve. (52:13) The purpose of our creation here is to, goes back to the time when Satan wanted to be a god besides God, and God decided to give Satan a dominion and constituents to prove Satan's incompetence as a god. (52:34) So the human beings who set up a god besides God, they automatically become members of Satan's kingdom, subject to his incompetence and subject to the disasters and problems that go along with that. (52:50) So we have the absolute freedom of choice, this is one of the conditions for providing Satan with constituents, that we are absolutely free to choose God as our God or Satan as our God. (53:05) People who set up other gods besides God are choosing, automatically choosing Satan as their God. (53:13) And we see this in surah number 36, مْ َ ل َ ُك أ ْم َ أ ْع َحْد َ ل َ إ َیا َبِني آَدْم ْن ِ covenant not I Did ال َّشْی َطا ُن َت ْعُبُدوا َلا أ with you, O children of Adam, that you shall not worship Satan? (53:24) So we are either worshiping God or worshiping Satan, and we worship Satan when we support his point of view of having a god besides God, any other idol besides God, to prove Satan's point of view. (53:40) Now once we make our free choice decision to believe or disbelieve, only God knows what our hearts have decided, what our innermost convictions are, and based on our decision, God will either create circumstances to guide us, if we decide to choose him as our God, or will create circumstances to augment our disbelief and our idol worship, if we decide to idolize someone else besides God. (54:13) So this will answer all the questions, I guess. (54:15) Yes, thank you very much.
