Messenger Audio 5.1 (29-Oct-1982)

(0:59) Alhamdulillah, wa ash'hadu an la ilaha illallah wahdahu wa la sharika lah. (1:03) As you see, I have an assistant today. As you know, I am working on gathering all the evidence and the proofs that show that if you go to any source other than Quran, it means you are setting up another god beside God. (1:27) And the book is evolving and changing, and I keep showing you the slides as the book evolves. And then I expect to have it printed inshallah in a couple of months. (1:40) But if you bear with me, some of these slides may be repetitious as far as you are concerned. (1:46) But this will help me because I do get comments on correcting this or changing that, and inshallah this will lead to perfection of the book. (1:56) But before we get to the slides, I am going to read one verse in surah 9, because a lot of people sometimes are concerned about the feelings of others. (2:08) Like if you meet somebody who believes in hadith, for example, and you worry that you might hurt their feelings, this verse deals with that. (2:19) Because when it comes to the truth, especially about God, God wants people to be completely sold on Him without no hesitation whatsoever. (2:30) So the verse is in surah 9, it is number 120, and it reads, I am going to read it for you. (2:45) Neither the dwellers of the city nor the nomads should seek to stay behind the messenger of God when he mobilizes for war, nor should they place their lives ahead of his life. (2:58) This is because, this is what I wanted to read for you, this part of the verse. (3:04) No thirst afflicts them, or any effort, or any hardship in the cause of God, nor do they make a single step that discourages the disbelievers. (3:16) Nor do they strike an enemy without having this credited to them as a righteous work. (3:24) God never fails to reward the righteous. (3:27) Okay, let me put it in plain English, I can see that I have to improve the translation. (3:33) But part of this verse says, they do not do anything that enrages the disbelievers without having this written to them as a credit. (3:44) So don't worry about the feelings of people who are not completely sold on God. (3:49) And a lot of people who compromise their own convictions just to please others, or afraid that they may hurt the feelings of others. (4:00) Actually, you are not hurting their feelings, you are serving them, you are helping them. (4:08) Now, we shouldn't forget the verse that says you should invite to the path of God with wisdom and nice admonitions. (4:15) But the Quran deals with all situations, there are situations where you cannot compromise your convictions, and you have to be solid on the side of God. (4:26) And you don't worry about, if the person deserves to be embraced, then this will be written to you as a credit. (4:33) Could we separate these two? (4:36) If you keep them apart they will not make noise. (4:38) Ok, now we get to the slides, and this is the latest edition of the book. (4:44) I am going to rely on your opinions and help to modify this. (4:49) Let's push this switch. (4:55) This is the new title. (4:58) Quran times, our titles are becoming mathematical now. (5:02) Quran times Hadith equals zero. (5:05) Because if you get the Quran, and you uphold it, and you follow it, but then you seek any other source besides Quran, then you have zero, you have nothing. (5:18) Also, when you multiply anything by zero, the result is zero. (5:26) Now, there is no salvation without obeying the messenger, and these are the verses. (5:30) So, when they tell you, we must obey the messenger, you agree with them, and you go even farther than that. (5:37) They say, yeah, you must obey the messenger, furthermore, you do not obey the messenger. (5:41) These are the verses, and we are going to have it printed for you someday. (5:48) When delivering God's messages, messengers do not speak on their own initiative. (5:53) And we see this documented in the previous scriptures in the Bible, the Old Testament, the New Testament. (6:01) And the Prophet Muhammad is represented by Quran alone. (6:05) These verses here from surah 5, verses 48 to 50, repeat. (6:11) These verses keep repeating, that, oh, my assistant has given up. (6:21) We keep repeating that we revealed to you, we sent down to you this book. (6:25) And you shall, that is the Quran, and you shall judge among them according to what is revealed to you, which is the book. (6:34) And beware of them, lest they pressure you into deviating from the book, etc., etc. (6:39) So, the Prophet is represented 100% by the Quran. (6:46) Now, these verses are very clear. (6:49) Now, Muhammad is forbidden from uttering any religious instructions other than Quran. (6:55) See, see this part here? (6:56) Had he ever uttered, let me go to the back. (6:59) This Quran is the utterance of an Alawi messenger. (7:02) It is not the utterance of a poet. Rarely do you believe. (7:06) Nor is it the utterance of a soothsayer. Rarely do you take heed. (7:11) A revelation from the Lord of the Universe. (7:13) This is an expression that is specific for the Quran. (7:19) Had he ever uttered any other religious utterances attributed to us, we would have punished him severely. (7:27) Then we would have stopped the revelation to him. (7:29) In other words, we would have fired him. (7:32) None of you could have protected him against us. (7:35) Therefore, the Prophet did not utter any religious instructions other than Quran. (7:39) Otherwise, he would have been fired as a messenger. (7:42) Just very clear. (7:46) I mean, very harsh, actually, not just clear. (7:53) Also, this is the utterance of an honorable messenger. (7:59) Some people will tell you, the Quran says, obey God, and obey the messenger. (8:04) And they tell you, God represented by Quran, and the messenger represented by Hadith. (8:09) But we didn't get Quran from God personally. (8:13) God didn't give us the Quran directly to me or to you. (8:17) The Quran came through Muhammad, through the messengers uttering the words of the Quran. (8:21) The words of God. (8:23) And there is a verse that you will see that says, when you obey the messenger, you are obeying God. (8:28) Obviously, the messenger is not God. (8:30) But when he is uttering the words of God, that is the Quran. (8:32) Then, he absolutely makes no mistake, and we must absolutely obey him. (8:38) That is the Quran. (8:41) Muhammad ordered never to deviate from Quran. (8:44) Deviation meant severe retribution. (8:46) This is in surah 17, verses 73 to 75. (8:50) And it says here, they almost diverted you, Muhammad, from our revelations to you. (8:55) They wanted you to fabricate something else, to consider you a friend. (9:00) If it were not that we strengthened you, you almost leaned towards them a little bit. (9:09) Had you done it, we would have doubled the punishment for you in this life and after death, (9:15) and no one could have protected you against us. (9:18) Very, very harsh words. (9:21) It is absolutely no deviation from Quran. (9:29) And Muhammad ordered to deliver Quran alone, without the least alterations, (9:34) and never to fabricate anything else. (9:38) Now, these verses speak of the Quran specifically. (9:41) It says, when our verses are recited for them, those who do not expect to meet us would say, (9:47) bring a Quran other than this, or change it. (9:50) Say, I cannot change it on my own initiative. (9:53) I simply follow what is revealed to me. (9:55) I fear, if I disobey my Lord, the retribution of a terrible day. (10:00) Who is more wicked than one who invents lies about God, or rejects His revelations? (10:09) When we go to Hadith, we commit false things. (10:12) We reject God's revelations that state that Quran is complete and perfect, as we will see. (10:17) And, we follow the invention of lies and rejecting His revelations. (10:33) Inventing lies and rejecting His revelations. (10:36) The two things. (10:37) I am trying to rest, but I am slowing myself down. (10:39) I better make haste slowly. (10:42) One God, one source. (10:44) Our Almighty Creator commands us, commands that Quran, specifically Quran, (10:48) should be the only source of religious teachings. (10:52) Furthermore, we are told that the acceptance of any other sources for religious guidance (10:56) equals the setting up of other gods beside God. (11:00) This is verse 19 of surah 6. (11:02) And it says, say, O Muhammad, whose testimony is greater? (11:07) God is the witness between me and you that this Quran, by name, (11:13) was given to me to preach it to you and to whomever it preaches. (11:17) However, you certainly bear witness that you set up other gods beside God. (11:23) By opposing, this is parenthesis, by opposing other sources besides Quran. (11:29) It's obvious from the flow of the words. (11:31) Say, I will never do what you are doing. (11:34) I disown your idol worship. (11:37) So this verse is very clear, and we are going to see more. (11:41) There is one God, one source. (11:43) In the strictest possible language, we are commanded to uphold Quran. (11:48) The whole Quran is nothing but Quran. (11:51) I should qualify this by saying that the Quran implies also referring to the previous scriptures. (11:56) In other words, scripture. (11:59) Repeatedly, we are commanded to uphold Quran as the only source of religious guidance. (12:04) Again and again, we are reminded that the following of any other source besides Quran (12:09) equals the setting up of other gods beside God. (12:11) This verse in 1739 says, (12:15) this is, now after a long list of commandments in surah 17, (12:19) this verse comes and says, (12:21) this is some of the wisdom revealed to you in this Quran, (12:25) and you shall not set up any other god beside God, (12:28) by following any other source besides this source. (12:35) Quran, an extraordinary book. (12:38) Despite the clear commandments, (12:40) why do the followers of Hadith and Sunnah fail to uphold Quran alone? (12:45) The answer is provided in the same surah, (12:47) following the commandment shown on page 8, previous page. (12:51) Verses 45 and 46 of surah 17, (12:54) inform us that those who refuse to believe God and heed His commandment to uphold Quran alone, (12:59) are deliberately isolated from Quran. (13:02) And this verse speaks of the Quran alone. (13:07) When you preach your Lord in the Quran alone, (13:11) they run away in aversion, they just shudder, (13:15) and you probably experienced that before. (13:20) Sometimes people walk into this mosque by mistake, (13:23) you know, you see the word mosque, (13:24) and they come in here, and as soon as I mention to them the Quran alone, (13:28) they literally run, just like the verse says. (13:31) They can't stand to talk about the Quran alone. (13:33) But this verse says here, says when you read Quran, (13:35) we place an invisible barrier between you and those who do not believe, (13:40) and we put shields on their hearts to prevent them from understanding Quran, (13:44) and deafness in their ears. (13:46) And when you mention your Lord alone, (13:48) now, alone here follows the Quran. (13:50) When you mention your Lord alone in the Quran alone, (13:53) the word alone came after Quran. (13:55) Al-Quran wahdahu. (13:57) Quran alone. (14:03) Do you believe God or not? (14:05) This is verse 38 of surah 6, (14:08) that says we didn't leave anything out of this book. (14:11) And in this verse 114 of surah 6 says, (14:15) God revealed the book to you fully detained. (14:19) I got a letter from Egypt from my hadithist who was asking me, (14:23) if the Quran is, and he used this word, (14:28) he said if the Quran is fully detained as you say, (14:31) where do we find the prayer? (14:33) We are going to deal with this question later on. (14:36) So I returned the letter to him, (14:37) and I told him to refer to this verse. (14:41) Because he used the very word that God uses in the Quran, (14:45) meaning fully detained. (14:48) This verse says, shall I seek other than God as a source of wisdom, (14:52) when he revealed to you this book fully detained? (15:00) Now the people at the time of the Prophet, for example, (15:03) I'll give you a question, and have you imagined this? (15:07) What did they think about the sun, for example? (15:10) Was the new sun coming out every morning? (15:13) But did they know about the earth and the sun and the moon? (15:15) The information that we know today. (15:18) How much knowledge did they have, including the Prophet himself? (15:23) What do you think they thought in their mind? (15:25) Every morning the sun comes from the east and goes in the west. (15:28) Where is it coming from? (15:30) Is it a new sun every morning? (15:33) What's going on here? (15:35) Now God created the sun, (15:40) and the moon, and the earth, and the solar system. (15:42) Did you look at the moon last night? (15:44) You see the two eyes, the nose, and the mouth? (15:47) Did you see it? (15:48) Now that's God's sense of humor. (15:52) And it provided a lot of poetry for the Arabs across many centuries. (16:02) Now, people can think of God as running the world like... (16:06) Now I want you to think of God when he was designing the moon. (16:11) Now think, just to bring it to our mind, (16:13) think of a chairman of the board sitting at a desk, (16:17) and this chairman of the board is designing the moon. (16:21) The chairman of the board says, (16:22) let us give the people of earth a satellite, a moon, (16:26) that will light their night certain times, (16:28) and help them calculate the months, (16:31) because you can calculate exactly the day of the month (16:33) by looking at the moon, at the lunar year. (16:37) Let's put two eyes, and a nose, and a mouth in this thing. (16:41) But the physics of this matter, the moon has to turn around. (16:45) The moon rotates around itself, right? (16:49) But now how do we make it so the people of the earth (16:52) will always see one side of the moon, that is the face, (16:55) with the two eyes, the nose, and the mouth. (16:58) So let us make the rotation of the moon exactly the same speed (17:01) as the rotation around the earth. (17:04) And I give that demonstration to most of you, (17:07) as to why we see one side of the moon. (17:13) This makes us think of the greatness of God (17:15) and how he designed the creation of the heavens and the earth, (17:18) and how much wisdom did the people of that time, (17:22) how much wisdom did they have, so we seek that wisdom. (17:26) Now I see some of you need a demonstration. (17:29) Let's make that demonstration again for those of you who didn't see it. (17:36) It's 20 to 21. (17:38) Let's say this is the same side of the moon that you see all the time. (17:41) We only see one side of the moon, even though it rotates around itself. (17:45) This is the earth right here, and this is the moon. (17:49) Now, this thing is going to go around itself exactly one time. (17:55) But at the same time, it's going to go around the earth. (17:58) However, because this rotation around itself is exactly, to the second, (18:05) equal to the rotation around the earth, (18:07) the people of the earth will always see one side. (18:10) So what's this? Here's the moon going around the earth. (18:13) It's a satellite. (18:14) Now, it is going around itself now, and going around the earth at the same time. (18:20) See that? (18:22) So when I did this, here I am in the same place, (18:26) and the people of earth see only one side, the two eyes, the nose, and the mouth. (18:30) At the same time, the moon went around itself one time. (18:35) Did you see this? Everybody see it? (18:38) See right now, I was facing this way, and when I was over there by Baruni, (18:42) it was facing that way, and when I went by Maryam, it was facing this way, (18:47) when I came to Dr. Mahmoud, it was facing this way, and it was facing this way. (18:50) So it made a complete circle around itself. (18:54) We just have to think of this very minute component in the universe, (19:01) how God designed the moon for us. (19:07) And now, putting two eyes, a nose, and a mouth, (19:10) and the very enigmatic expression of the moon, (19:12) you can see the moon, and if you want to see it sad, you will see it sad. (19:16) If you want to see it smiling, you will see it smiling. (19:20) It has a neutral expression. (19:22) So whatever mood you have, the moon will help you. (19:26) And this is God's design. (19:28) So this verse here is saying, shall I seek other than God for wisdom? (19:33) When He revealed to you this book fully detailed, (19:37) so all the wisdom we need is in the Quran. (19:40) And it would be just stupid to go for wisdom, (19:45) especially to people in the old times. (19:48) Think of your own grandfather. (19:50) I'm not insulting you. (19:52) Remember how simple he was? (19:55) And that's our own grandfather. (19:57) How much knowledge did he have? (19:59) Did he have as much as you? (20:02) Would you go to him for wisdom? (20:04) Your own grandfather. (20:06) Each one of you had a grandfather. (20:10) So let alone going back 1400 years, seeking other than God for wisdom. (20:15) This is why God didn't invent all these advances in technology, (20:18) and computers, and airplanes, and things, until the final scripture came. (20:24) So we cannot seek any wisdom from those people who didn't know much. (20:32) Just what did they think of the sun coming out every morning? (20:37) Can you imagine all the superstitions? (20:39) And all the stories? (20:41) The speculations? (20:42) They had no schools. (20:46) Shall I seek other than God for wisdom? (20:48) When He revealed to you this book fully detailed. (20:51) And this verse says, the word of your Lord is complete in truth and justice. (20:56) The word in Aramaic is temet. (20:59) I put a star under it. (21:01) It doesn't mean anything else. (21:02) It cannot be interpreted. (21:04) It can only be translated, meaning complete. (21:07) The word of your Lord is complete in truth and justice. (21:13) So the question here is, do you believe God or not? (21:15) It's as simple as that. (21:18) And God says, if you decide you don't want to believe me, I'm going to block you out. (21:23) This is what the Quran says. (21:24) You've seen it in the last page, I think, yeah? (21:27) When I put an invisible barrier. (21:34) If there is no wall, you don't see it. (21:36) It's invisible. (21:38) But the people who decide they don't want to believe God. (21:43) That's not enough. (21:44) God says He's going to put shields on their hearts. (21:48) And in case you missed the meaning of the shield, it says, (21:51) to prevent them from understanding the Quran. (21:56) And deafness in their ears. (21:59) A total block out. (22:02) So the question is, do you believe God or not? (22:07) That's what you tell them. (22:11) And not believing God is disastrous, as we will see. (22:16) The consequence of not believing God, there. (22:19) Those who refuse to believe my revelations and are too arrogant to accept them, (22:25) the gates of heaven will never open for them, nor will they ever enter paradise (22:29) until the camel goes through the needle's eye. (22:33) Now, what was the biggest needle you've ever seen? (22:37) I guess Diana can tell us about that. (22:39) She's got lots of needles in her shop. (22:43) The biggest needle will not pass a lady's butt. (22:48) A lady butt. (22:50) It's not dead. (22:51) It's a lady butt, let alone a camel. (22:54) So God is saying it's a physical impossibility for people (22:59) It's a physical impossibility for people who refuse to believe God's revelations, (23:03) that they'll enter heaven. (23:04) For the gates of the sky will open for them. (23:07) There are more consequences than that. (23:10) Important criterion of divine liberation. (23:12) Some people will tell you a hadith is also divine liberation, like the Quran. (23:16) You've probably heard that before. (23:19) But God gave us a criterion in surah 15, verse 9. (23:21) It says, my message, my final message, will be perfectly preserved. (23:28) And by their own admission, the vast majority of hadiths and sunnah are false fabrications. (23:35) They'll admit that, especially if it doesn't agree with them. (23:41) Hadith and sunnah are 100% conjecture. (23:44) And these verses say, shall I seek other than God for source of wisdom, (23:48) when He revealed to you this book fully decayed? (23:51) Even the recipients of previous scriptures recognize it as coming from the Lord. (23:58) The word of the Lord is complete in truth and justice. (24:01) And then it says at the end, if you obey the majority, (24:03) they will take you away from the path of God because they follow conjecture. (24:07) Put a star under it. (24:10) By their own admission, hadith and sunnah are conjecture. (24:13) They think the prophet said that. (24:16) And we say, even if the prophet said that, we follow only the wisdom of God. (24:24) Obeying the messenger's condition. (24:27) And this is in the Quran. (24:29) This verse here says, (24:31) O prophet! (24:33) If the believing women come to you and pledge that they will not idolize anything besides God, (24:39) nor steal, nor commit adultery, nor kill their children, nor produce any falsehood, (24:44) nor disobey you when you are right. (24:48) Now this is a condition. (24:52) And it's a negative of disobeying. (24:56) Which means, they should disobey when you are not right. (25:01) So the Quran is very clear that obeying the prophet or the messenger is in what he uttered as Quran. (25:08) Nothing else. (25:10) Obeying the messenger's condition. (25:13) I like this word, but I looked it up in the dictionary and it said condition equals conditional. (25:21) So I left it there. (25:23) This verse says, anything good that happens to you, Muhammad is from God. (25:28) And anything bad that happens to you is from you. (25:33) So, the personal opinion of the prophet may be bad and may cause bad things to happen. (25:38) On the other hand, Muhammad the messenger utters only the Quran. (25:45) And here is a good example where the prophet is, (25:49) we are told that the prophet feared the people instead of fearing God. (25:55) And certainly God doesn't hate the prophet. (25:59) Why is he scandalizing him all over the world through the Quran? Why? (26:04) God is not scandalizing the prophet, he is telling us that he has his actions and his words, (26:10) and these are his opinions, and he can be right or wrong. (26:13) And he is right only if he agrees with the Quran. (26:15) Therefore, you people take from him only the Quran. (26:19) Otherwise, what is the purpose of a verse like this? (26:22) Here is a famous example. (26:25) Obeying the messenger's condition. (26:27) Now this example is where the prophet neglected the poor man, the poor blind person, (26:33) and gave his attention to the rich man. (26:36) Is this something we are supposed to do? (26:38) This is what Sunnah means. (26:41) And it is not anything that the prophet would want us to do. (26:46) One complete surah illustrates the fact that we are to obey Muhammad only in his Quranic utterances, (26:52) and not in his personal utterances or personal behavior. (26:56) This rules out the so-called hadith of Sunnah as a legitimate source of religious guidance. (27:03) Why is the whole surah entitled he frowned? (27:09) The whole surah is telling us that he made a mistake. Why? (27:13) It is telling us not to follow his personal actions. (27:19) And at the end it says, indeed this is a reminder for those who choose to remember. (27:28) A reminder of what? (27:31) That his personal actions and words may be right, may be wrong. (27:38) The idolization of Muhammad. (27:44) Well, I think we are running out of time. (27:47) But this verse says that Muhammad is a human being like you, (27:52) and at the end of the verse it says do not fall in idol worship. (27:56) It is another verse that says Muhammad is a human being like you, (28:00) and at the end of the verse it says do not fall in idol worship. (28:02) Is this coincidence? (28:04) Both verses end up with saying do not fall in idol worship. (28:09) Muhammad is a human being like you, do not fall in idol worship, both of them. (28:15) The abuse of Quran. (28:19) This verse says, (28:19) God and his angels encourage the Prophet. (28:27) For you who believe, you too shall encourage him and support him completely. (28:31) This needs a lot of explanation, which I will do later. (28:36) But they use this to praise the glory of the Prophet day and night. (28:45) And they forget that the word Prophet, the word Nabi in the Quran, (28:49) always refers to the Prophet during his lifetime, when he was alive. (28:53) Not after his death. (28:55) And then we are told, 13 verses before this, that God and his angels makes a lot on the believers. (29:02) Every single one, you and me, if you are believers. (29:06) God and his angels will make a lot of us to take us out of darkness into the light. (29:12) So I get to this level, but I have to quit. (29:15) Also this verse, just don't know where to quit, but I have to quit here. (29:21) And maybe if we have enough votes tonight, maybe we can finish this whole thing and explain it in detail. (29:30) And then eventually, inshallah, we are going to have it written down and printed. (29:34) So let us turn to God and ask him to encourage us to stick to his word alone. (29:41) And to be satisfied with the wisdom of God alone. (29:44) Subhanallah. (29:54) Alhamdulillah. (29:59) Hopefully this book will give you the evidence that you can show anybody. (30:05) Supporting the idea that Islam... (30:25) It is a very interesting thing. (30:34) There was a trial in Syria. (30:36) A certain Kohen. (30:38) He was caught spying. (30:39) This was in 1974? (30:42) I don't remember. Before this, after. (30:45) Oh, before. (30:47) And the judge was telling Kohen whether he believes in the Bible and so on. (30:58) He said, somewhat, he said. (31:01) One of the victims of this. (31:03) They asked him, do you believe in the Talmud? (31:06) He said, somewhat. (31:08) And the judge told him, don't you know he said the Talmud is against the Bible? (31:16) Yes. (31:21) But the mind of the judge, he said it's a lie. (31:25) He's trying to say the Bible does not talk about death. (31:29) It's not dying. (31:30) It's the Talmud that is dying. (31:32) So he had a motive. (31:34) In the Middle East we know now that the Talmud is the basis of all evil. (31:39) As far as the Jews believe in it. (31:42) And this was the judge saying. (31:44) He was aware that they had the same Talmud. (31:46) The Talmud makes things harder for the Jews. (31:56) But Abraham, he saw it. (32:05) This girl will have a stomach ache when she exposes her stomach. (32:10) That's what we believe. (32:16) Now, some people say this book. (32:20) Is that okay by you? (32:22) No more? (32:22) Is it all right by you to see this book? (32:25) I'll move on. (32:26) You don't have to ask me on this thing. (32:30) It's terrible. (32:32) We just do what we need to do. (32:33) One way or the other we learn. (32:41) You know this Jamila, she covers her stomach. (32:44) Because that's how she... (32:45) I don't know how sweet it is. (32:48) She gets a little stomach ache. (32:49) It's really warm in here though. (32:51) But it was cool in Italy. (32:55) It's warm in here because of the rain. (32:56) Yes. (33:00) Do it like Jamila. (33:03) Do it like Jamila. (33:13) Jamila? (33:15) Jamila? (33:17) You're not going to cry anymore? (33:20) You're not going to cry if I kill you? (33:39) As you noticed in the Juma and the Khutba today, (33:45) I was trying to rush through these slides, (33:50) but we're not doing them justice. (33:52) We'll just go slow and look at them carefully (33:55) and also ask questions, (33:58) because in the Khutba there isn't much chance for asking questions. (34:01) And ask for clarification. (34:03) So we'll just go through these slides very carefully. (34:07) So if you want to search, you can see the screen. (34:45) These are the ones that we saw so many times. (34:52) And when people go to the Christians and say, (34:54) that the Christ is not the son of God, (34:57) he's the messenger of God, (34:59) they will accuse you of hating Jesus. (35:04) When you're actually telling the truth. (35:06) And the same is true with the Muslims. (35:08) They go and say, (35:09) you follow only the Quran. (35:12) They may accuse you of hating Muhammad, (35:16) which is not true. (35:17) When they say Jesus is the messenger of God, (35:19) you're actually a friend of Jesus. (35:21) And you're going to be with him in heaven. (35:24) And the person who accuses you of hating Jesus, (35:27) because he thinks that Jesus is the son of God, (35:29) or God, or divinity, or whatever, (35:31) that person, Jesus will disown that person on the Day of Judgment. (35:34) And that person will never be with Jesus in heaven. (35:38) So don't let them tell you that you don't like Muhammad, (35:41) or you're against Muhammad, because you're against Hadith. (35:44) What happened is, they fell in a trap, (35:47) where Satan told them, (35:51) Muhammad said this and that, (35:53) when he didn't. (35:54) And the Quran says that, (35:56) the Hadith and Surah are fabrications by enemies of the Prophet. (36:00) So, (36:01) that's why I was starting the first page by saying, (36:04) there is no salvation without obeying the messenger, (36:06) because the messenger happens, (36:08) Quran. (36:14) And you see these biblical instructions, (36:17) when delivering God's messages, (36:19) messengers do not speak on their own. (36:21) Here is Moses in Deuteronomy, saying, (36:23) A prophet like me, who is the Lord, who is God, (36:25) raised up for you from among your own kinsmen, (36:29) to Him you shall listen. (36:31) Now, he's replying to Muhammad, very clearly, (36:33) because it says, from among your own kinsmen. (36:37) Now, (36:39) some people may think that he's replying to Jesus. (36:42) But Jesus came from among them, (36:44) not from among their kinsmen. (36:46) So, coming from among their kinsmen, (36:48) Muhammad came from Ishmael. (36:50) But Jesus came from them, (36:52) from the line of David. (36:55) The next statement in Deuteronomy, (36:57) God says, (36:58) I will raise up for them a prophet like you, Moses, (37:02) from among their kinsmen, (37:03) and will put my word into his mouth. (37:06) He shall tell them all that I command him. (37:09) If any man will not listen to my word, (37:12) which he speaks in my name, (37:14) I myself will make an answer for him. (37:17) So, this is a very clear commandment, (37:20) to obey the messenger, (37:21) even before, way before he was born. (37:24) The Quran says, (37:25) obeying the messenger is obeying God. (37:28) So, obviously, if the messenger was not God, (37:31) he added the words of God. (37:34) And in the chapter of John, (37:36) we see Jesus saying, (37:39) do you not believe that I am in the Father, (37:41) and the Father is in me. (37:43) Now, this statement is similar to, (37:45) obeying the messenger is obeying God, (37:47) which we find in the Quran. (37:50) In other words, if you obey me, you obey God. (37:51) This is what Jesus says. (37:53) When you obey me, you obey God. (37:54) But it does not mean that he is God. (37:57) Of course, they abuse that statement. (37:59) But the Father abiding in me, (38:02) does his works. (38:04) So, God puts his words (38:06) through the mouth of the messenger. (38:09) And this is why it is absolutely required (38:11) that you obey them. (38:13) In John 16, 13, (38:16) when he, the spirit of truth, comes, (38:20) he will guide you (38:22) into all the truth. (38:25) For he will not speak on his own initiative. (38:29) But whatever he hears, (38:31) he will speak. (38:32) And he will disclose to you (38:34) what is to come. (38:36) Then we have verses in saying that (38:38) Muhammad does not speak on his own initiative. (38:40) This is surah 54. (38:46) Muhammad represented 100% (38:48) by Quran alone. (38:51) We sent down to you (38:52) this book, (38:55) truthfully, confirming (38:57) all previous scriptures, (38:59) and superseding them. (39:01) You shall judge among them according to (39:03) what is sent down (39:04) from God, which is defined as (39:07) this book. (39:09) And do not follow their wishes, (39:10) if they deviate from the truth. (39:12) You shall judge among them, (39:14) this is repetition now, (39:15) you shall judge among them according to (39:18) what is sent down from God, (39:20) which is this book. (39:21) Do not follow their wishes, and beware (39:23) that they divert you from that (39:26) which is sent down to you from God, (39:28) which is defined at the beginning (39:30) as this book. (39:32) Would they seek the laws of ignorance? (39:34) Who is better than God (39:36) as a lawmaker for those who (39:38) truly believe? (39:42) Now today I was (39:45) trying to (39:47) bring into focus awareness of (39:49) God and how he designed the moon and the earth, (39:52) and how much (39:53) did the human beings contribute to this? (39:55) How much did Jesus contribute to the creation (39:57) of the moon? Or determining the speed (39:59) of rotation of the earth? (40:01) How much did Mary contribute (40:03) to the creation of the stars? (40:05) Nothing. (40:07) And it's just very simplistic and (40:09) naive and downright stupid (40:10) to go to humans for wisdom. (40:21) The problem (40:22) of most people is that they lack (40:24) awareness of God. They're walking around, (40:27) driving around the streets, (40:28) and they think of God as something (40:30) abstract, you know, that (40:34) God runs the road (40:35) like the chairman of the board. (40:37) This person is fired, (40:38) this person is fired, (40:40) move this person here, take that person there. (40:42) Nothing happens without God's permission (40:43) and control. (40:46) So you can see, (40:48) I used the moon as an example. (40:49) Did you see the moon tonight? (40:51) Did you see the two eyes, the mouth and the nose? (40:54) Did you see the face? (40:55) Am I the only one who sees this? (40:58) I see a very clear face. (41:06) You have to (41:08) know that this is a deliberate (41:09) design by God. (41:10) The reason (41:12) we see the same side of the moon is that (41:14) the rotation of the moon is very (41:16) small. The moon takes (41:18) twenty-eight and a half days to go around (41:20) itself. (41:22) Twenty-eight and a half, (41:24) which is the length of time it goes from (41:26) new moon to new moon. (41:29) And it is going (41:30) very slowly around itself, (41:32) like I showed you (41:34) this afternoon. (41:38) And the (41:38) idea is to bring into focus (41:40) awareness that God runs the world, (41:42) that He designs everything on purpose. (41:45) Everything by exact (41:46) measure. The number of drops coming (41:48) out (41:50) in the rain (41:51) is determined by God. (41:53) The number of drops, even less than that. (41:57) In Surah 10, God says, (41:58) Not an atom in the heavens (42:00) or the earth is out of (42:02) my control. (42:08) Muhammad forbidden from uttering (42:10) any religious instructions other than Quran. (42:14) And this is the (42:14) verse where it says that the Quran is the (42:16) utterance of an honorable messenger. (42:19) It is not the utterance (42:20) of a poet or a (42:22) truth-teller. (42:24) It is a revelation from the Lord of the Universe. (42:26) And then it says, Had He (42:29) uttered any other religious (42:30) utterances, (42:32) we would have punished Him severely. (42:35) And none can protect Muhammad from (42:36) God's punishment. This is in that verse. (42:39) Therefore, the Prophet did not (42:40) utter any religious instructions (42:43) besides Quran. (42:47) In this verse, Muhammad ordered (42:48) never to deviate from Quran. (42:51) Deviation meant severe punishment. (42:53) Surah 17. I'll go a little (42:55) faster in this because we've seen them before. (42:58) This is (42:59) the verse that speaks specifically (43:01) about Quran, where they ask Muhammad (43:03) to change the Quran or bring something (43:05) right, and he's ordered there to (43:07) tell them (43:11) I can't do that. (43:13) I have to deliver only the Quran. (43:16) And the rest of the verse (43:17) talks about fabrication of lies, (43:20) and talks about (43:20) intercession, by the way. (43:23) See the last (43:25) part down there? (43:27) The guilty never succeed. Yet, (43:29) they idolize besides God those who (43:31) possess no power to harm them or (43:33) benefit them, and say these are (43:34) our intercessors with God. (43:37) Such is idol worship. (43:39) And the message (43:40) of Muhammad, the intercessor, is quite (43:42) prevalent in the Muslim world. (43:47) One God, one source. This is the verse (43:49) in surah 6, verse 19. (43:52) See the number 19. (43:54) It says that Muhammad (43:55) brought the Quran and nothing else. (43:57) And that if you go to others than Quran, (43:59) then you are setting up another God besides God. (44:02) So in your religious instructions, (44:04) you stick only to Quran. (44:06) If you go to any other source, (44:10) anybody, (44:10) then you are (44:11) in idol worship. (44:14) Then you are in deep trouble. (44:16) But if you stick to Quran, you are a very (44:17) happy person. (44:19) And you are guaranteed success, security, (44:21) and contentment, (44:23) happiness, and health, and wealth, and everything. (44:26) If you stick to Quran alone. (44:27) Because God values that. (44:31) This is another verse in surah 17. (44:34) 17, 39. (44:36) It says you don't set up (44:37) any other God besides God. (44:39) But go to any other source besides Quran. (44:47) Quran is not (44:47) a usual book. It's not like books of mathematics, (44:49) or physics, or chemistry. (44:52) Not everybody can (44:53) read the Quran. (44:54) If they ask professors of Arabic linguistics, (44:57) they will not understand the word. (44:59) Unless they are complete believers. (45:01) At the same time, we thought that God (45:03) would put the Quran in the believer's heart. (45:06) Regardless of their language. (45:08) Don't let (45:09) anybody shake you up that you don't know Arabic. (45:11) It doesn't make any difference. (45:13) When you are sincere, God puts (45:15) the Quran in your heart. (45:17) And I say this (45:19) from experience. I met so many people, (45:21) complete believers, who don't know (45:23) one letter of Arabic. But the whole Quran (45:25) is in their heart. And they (45:27) quote the Quran. (45:30) You can keep that (45:30) unless you want somebody to keep it. (45:37) Do you believe God or not? (45:39) On this page, (45:40) I have three verses (45:42) saying, the first one says, (45:43) we didn't leave anything out of this book. (45:46) The second one says, (45:47) shall I speak other than God for wisdom? (45:49) When you think down to you this book, (45:51) fully detailed. (45:53) And the last verse says, so what if the Lord is complete? (45:59) When you tell them that the Quran (46:00) is complete or not, they say, yes, the Quran is complete. (46:02) But, (46:02) there is always but, (46:04) if, or and. (46:08) And I always tell them, I want you to answer me without (46:10) if, and, or, but. (46:16) The consequences of not believing God are terrible. (46:20) Those who do not believe our revelations (46:22) and are too arrogant to heed them, (46:24) the gates of the sky never (46:26) open for them, nor will they ever (46:28) enter paradise until the camel (46:30) passes through it and eats its eyes. (46:32) We thus require to keep them. (46:33) Thus it is a physical (46:35) impossibility for those who refuse to believe (46:37) God to enter paradise. (46:40) The Quran is a great (46:41) blessing or a terrible (46:43) curse if they don't believe (46:45) it and follow it. (46:51) But the blessing is (46:54) just unimaginable. (46:56) Important criteria of divine revelation (46:58) is when they tell you a hadith (47:00) is a divine revelation, (47:03) you tell them they don't know what they're talking about. (47:06) Because the criterion (47:07) is complete preservation. (47:12) The blasphemy is evident (47:13) when they claim that hadith and sunnah (47:15) are divine revelations. Do they not realize (47:17) that God Almighty is capable of preserving (47:19) these revelations? (47:21) It's a blasphemy to say that hadith and sunnah (47:23) are divine revelations. (47:28) So they are accusing God of (47:29) being unable to protect (47:30) or keep it.
