(0:11) The reason for this book is because we had a visitor from San Francisco and she came by to check us out and unfortunately she got shocked because the way we were treating the guard messenger. (0:27) According from Quran, the verses 6, 8 says, they also said if only an angel could come down with him, had we sent an angel, the whole matter would have been terminated and they would not have been respited. (0:49) Chapter 6, verse 9 says, had we sent an angel we would have sent him in the form of a man and we would have kept him confused. (1:01) 43.53 and 6.50 says the same thing, say I do not say to you that I possess the treasures of God nor do I know the future nor do I say to you that I am an angel. (1:14) I simply follow what is revealed to me say it is the blind the same as the seer, you do not think. (1:24) 6.58 says are they waiting for the angels to come to them or your Lord or some manifestations of your Lord? (1:35) The day this happens, no soul will benefit from believing if it did not believe before that. (1:43) So keep on waiting, we too will wait. (1:49) Are they waiting until God comes down to them in dense clouds with angels, the whole matter will then be terminated and to God everything will be returned. (2:09) They are waiting for the angels, 6.33, they are waiting for the angels to come to them or until your Lord's judgment comes to pass. (2:19) Those before them did the same thing, God is not the one who warned them, they are the ones who warned themselves. (2:28) 11.12 you may tend to disregard some of that which is revealed to you and you may be annoyed by it when they say how come no treasures come down to him or an angel? (2:44) You are only a warner, God controls all things. (2:51) 15.7 says why do you not bring down the angels if you are truthful? (2:58) 15.8 says we do not send down the angels except for a specific purpose otherwise no one will be respited. (3:06) 17.92 says or unless you cause masses from the sky to fall on us as you claim or unless you bring God and the angels before our eyes. (3:18) 17.95 says if the earth were inhabited by angels we could have sent down to them from the sky an angel messenger. (3:27) 25.22 the day they see the angels it will not be good news for them, they will say we are irreversibly confused. (3:39) 43.16 if we will we could have made you an angel colonized in the earth. (3:48) I wish to God that among us there would be anyone that did not believe in God's messenger because God's messenger is alive and well among us and we just have to obey. (4:06) Constantly Quran repeated you have to believe in God and obey his messenger. (4:12) Right after the God comes the word of messenger. (4:14) You have to obey the messenger. (4:24) Now a couple of weeks ago our brother Muftasham talked about the responsibility but today God willing I am going to specify our responsibilities which is God's will that we are in this right now. (4:40) And believe me anything happens in this masjid I have seen it with my own eyes. (4:45) Just last week in the computer room Dr. Khalifa was writing the new perspective and there was a word it would not go to the computer that was not God's will. (4:57) It took some time either it was shorter or longer. (5:00) And it took some time till it went to the computer. (5:03) That was God's will Alhamdulillah. (5:05) So anything happening over here Alhamdulillah it is just like God is looking at us all of us right in here and it is a very very crucial moment. (5:17) So we have to obey this responsibility. (5:23) Now God is telling us how to fulfill this responsibility about our messenger. (5:29) We shall not argue with the messenger. (5:32) There is no way whatsoever we can argue with the messenger. (5:36) That is arguing with the word of God is God's messenger. (5:41) And when a verse says that after if you die before age of 40 you go to heaven that is it. (5:50) We cannot ask him why. (5:52) If you have any problem you can ask God because his job is to just deliver the message. (5:59) 633 says we know that you may be saddened by what they say. (6:05) You should know that it is not you that they reject. (6:08) It is God's revelation that the wicked disregard it. (6:14) Unfortunately last week that is fortunate actually. (6:19) Dr. Shakira came from San Francisco and she is a very very strong believer. (6:29) If she was not she would have left the message because she actually said it herself that I am confused the way we are treating the messenger. (7:21) The reason is because we might hurt the messenger. (7:24) 9.61 says He is a mercy for those among you who believe. (7:30) Those who hurt God's messenger have incurred the painful retribution. (7:38) 33.57 says Surely those who insult God and his messenger, God condemns them in this life and the hereafter. (7:50) 33.69 O you who believe do not be like those who hurt Moses. (7:57) God absolved him of what they said. (8:01) He was in the sight of God honorable. (8:03) 34.65 says Recall that Moses said to his people O my people why do you hurt me even though you know that I am God's messenger? (8:17) When they deviated God diverted their hearts for God does not guide the wicked people. (8:24) All you who believe 41.2 do not raise your voice above the voice of the prophet nor shall you shout at him as you shout at each other. (8:37) 49.3 says Bless your words become nullified while you do not perceive. (8:46) Surely those who lower their voices at the messenger of God are the ones whose hearts are prepared by God to become righteousness. (8:59) They deserve forgiveness and great recompense. (9:07) 49.4 as for those who call on you from outside the wall most of them do not understand. (9:16) We cannot call Dr. Khalifa come over here we want to go let's do the prayer. (9:24) We cannot do that. (9:26) This is it doesn't bother him personally but this is it's going to nullify our work whatever we have done. (9:36) God says on 49.5 had they been patient until you come out to them it would have been better for them. (9:44) God is forgiver most merciful. (9:48) As for any communities this community we have to have the discipline according to God's law that we have to follow. (10:32) But messenger is the position that God has given and this is the highest point position in this world and we have to follow God's word. (10:45) God called him messenger. (10:48) So the newcomers they come outside they see us we have a Friday classes when they leave they don't know who was the messenger who was the student who was the teacher everybody is laying down some people are sleeping please we have to cut this off because this is against God's law against God's rules. (11:41) It's funny when there is someone coming from outside they tell us what to tell him. (11:45) Now God already called him Rasulallah. (11:48) God positioned him as a Rasulallah so we have to I mean this is up to everybody whatever they want to think about it but this is God's rule this is God's law this is the rule we should have among us. (12:03) This is a very very crucial moment that we have to take heed and understand that we are so busy with the miracle of 19 he forgot the small things over here and one is please you can call him Rasulallah Mr. Khalifa Dr. Khalifa please when you are having a study group don't call him by the first name first name is me or you or others but he is Rasulallah. (13:31) And y'all I just have to thank you this is the thing that every one of us we have to know this to learn it we have to learn this system this is mine and all of you I am sure is the first messenger we do not know how to treat and last time I probably said something wrong and I called Dr. Khalifa I said I am very sorry you are my first messenger and I don't have no experience about it. (14:02) And so as for all of us it is no problem we just don't know but that doesn't mean that we just have to keep following whatever we have been doing. (14:14) Now God says on 2462 the true believers are those who believe in God and his messenger and when they are with him in a community meeting they do not leave him without permission. (14:32) Again God says exactly the same thing those who ask your permission are the ones who do not believe in God who I am sorry who do believe in God and his messenger he put the God and his messenger first sentence and then get the permission and then the second sentence he said these are the ones who believe in God and his messenger. (14:53) This is very very crucial and important and just from this verse we get millions of things about how to treat the messenger it is just completely different with anyone else on this earth. (15:15) My brother just mentioned to me verse 7 surah 7 day 1 God says O children of Adam you shall be clean and dress nicely when you go into the mosque you shall eat and drink moderately God does not love excesses. (15:47) Now please again brothers sisters I love you that is why I am talking about this if there was someone outside I would not I would tell my children I would tell my mom because I care about them and please when you come in freedom is a beautiful word but when you are in a group when you are in a society when you are in this community (16:17) it is completely freedom but having respect is different so please I want to ask you I love you especially the ones I know they have the same feeling about me too but this is the word of God please do not lay down we have the I know for some of us it is very uncomfortable to sit down but believe me it is very uncomfortable in the hell too. though it is a surah it is full of all the five so called pillars of Islam (28:01) Are in surah number two (28:04) The orders to pray the orders to fast Ramadan the orders to give zakat the orders to make pilgrimage (28:19) The rules of marriage divorce war they are all in surah number two (28:25) But the title indicates the importance of the subject that is within every surah (28:33) And God chose the title the Haifal (28:37) So what is the Haifal? (28:40) The Haifal symbolizes the people who are with the messenger but they are rebels (28:50) And they give the messenger a hell of a time (28:55) This is what the Haifal is all about (28:57) So if we are fortunate we will learn from this (29:01) And we will catch our rebellious nature and correct it in order to be redeemed back to God's kingdom (29:09) To get rid of the rebellion and to correct it (29:19) Moses told his people God orders you to sacrifice a Haifal (29:27) So what did they do? (29:34) They said are you kidding? (29:38) He said I seek refuge in God lest I be that ignorant And you know the rest of the story I am not going to tell you the story of the Haifal again But why is God putting it there why God is putting so much importance on it And giving the name of the title of the surah from that incident why? (31:29) He said how do you dress up for the mosque? (31:33) It is the same answer that was given to Moses right? (31:39) We are human beings those were human beings and these are human beings You know we are applying for a job in God's kingdom We are trying to go back and we are applying for a job So if you have an interview for a job why would you dress? (32:03) Would you go in a short and slippers? (32:07) Of course we don't want to be that formal but I mean we have to be reasonable So I have to explain how you dress up for the mosque God says He said oh children of Adam Dress up is a good translation for that Every time you go to the mosque Why? (32:43) Why is God telling us to dress up every time we go to the mosque? (32:53) I mean does God see finicky or what? (33:01) Why is he telling us to dress up for the mosque? (33:05) How would you like it to go to the mosque and find that everybody looks terrible and stinks? (33:13) What will happen? (33:17) I mean this is what we are doing (33:23) We are not following God's command (33:29) So we have to learn from our lessons that God has given us (33:37) There are reasons for calling it the Heifer (33:41) And emphasizing this story and over and over and over throughout the Quran (33:48) We see the children of Israel, the story of the children of Israel (33:51) Believe me it's happening, everything they did (33:53) That's why God put the children of Israel in the Quran (33:56) Because we are doing the same things (33:58) And these are God's chosen people (34:04) What color is she? (38:26) From believer And that by the believer And accuse a believer And that time show yourself You are protector of the messenger You love messenger more than everybody What kind of race is this? (38:39) Is there righteous race? (38:41) I want to share some verses from Quran (38:44) Bismillahirrahmanirrahim (38:45) Only those who possess intelligence will take care (38:50) God always says intelligent people will take care (38:55) The other verse (38:57) You shall not accept any information unless you verify it for yourself (39:02) I have given you the hearing, the eyesight and the brain (39:07) And you are responsible for using them (39:10) These are two verses from Quran (39:12) And God says in Quran (39:14) Believers are brothers (39:17) And all you who believe (39:20) You shall avoid any suspicion (39:22) For even a little bit of suspicion is sinful (39:25) You shall not spite nor shall backbite one another (39:29) This is as amongable as eating the flesh of your dead brother (39:33) Because he cannot defend himself when you are backbiting him (39:40) Now in this Rashad (39:41) If you have your permission (39:43) I want to talk on the Qutbain (39:45) There are some points which (39:49) I want only to ask questions (39:51) First, Bahru's brother said (39:55) We shouldn't call him by his name as a Rashad (39:59) Which there is a mistranslation of verse 2463 (40:03) Which could you please open it? (40:07) 2463 (40:10) It doesn't say don't call him by name like you each other (40:14) Don't take his invitation, his request like your invitation (40:20) Because he is leader, he is messenger of God (40:22) You must obey him (40:24) But in respect of calling him with name (40:26) It is human being like us (40:28) And all messenger has been called with their name (40:32) And even now we call Muhammad as Muhammad (40:34) Moses as Moses (40:35) God says they are human being like you (40:38) What kind of difference God show us (40:41) Which respect is their difference we must respect (40:44) And which respect they are like us (40:47) They are walking in the city, they eat like us (40:52) This is not what is mistranslated (40:56) Do not treat the messenger's request (40:59) As you treat each other's request (41:01) And also in the content if you look (41:04) Some people they do not take serious invitation of the messenger (41:08) And they are wavering (41:10) And the second point (41:11) We shouldn't discuss with him (41:14) Why? (41:17) Doesn't he make mistakes? (41:21) Only God doesn't make mistakes What about verses 60-12 What about that first 60-12 Here from Hadith, Quran, Hadith and Islam The verse 60-12 The title is obeying the messenger is condition on the mind Nor disobey you when you are right That means believer sometimes They may see something wrong and they can criticize Even they can that time they can disobey This is condition 60-12 What chapter? (42:13) Chapter 60-12 60 Yes 60 Yes Here in this book it is underlined Nor disobey you Nor disobey you messenger when you are right Or in translation may be righteous command Obeying the messenger is condition What is the condition? (42:42) God says anything good that happens to you is from God And anything bad that happens to you is from you That messengers like human they make mistakes And these not from God These are from themselves And God may change later forgive them Is it ok if we finish? (1:25:22) 366 (1:25:23) Verse 130 Speaker 5 (1:25:25) Verse 130 (1:25:40) O you who believe (1:25:41) You shall not take usury (1:25:43) You shall observe God (1:25:50) Beware of the hellfire that awaits (1:25:52) Those disbelievers (1:25:53) You shall obey God and the messenger (1:25:56) That you may attain mercy (1:26:03) We have discussed in great (1:26:06) Detail (1:26:07) About usury a few weeks ago (1:26:10) But going back (1:26:11) To one of the verses (1:26:12) Chapter 2 verse 275 (1:26:21) Those who take usury (1:26:23) Are in the same position as those (1:26:24) Who are possessed by the devil (1:26:26) This is because they claim that usury (1:26:29) Is the same as praise (1:26:30) God has made praise lawful (1:26:32) And has made usury unlawful (1:26:35) Whoever keeps his commandments (1:26:37) When he glorifies and refrains (1:26:39) From usury, he may keep his (1:26:41) Past earnings and his judgment (1:26:43) Rest with God (1:26:44) As for those who persist, they incur hell (1:26:47) They abide therein forever (1:26:48) This is exactly what God is telling us here (1:26:51) And we should realize what the difference is (1:26:53) Between praise and usury (1:26:55) Where usury is lending money (1:26:57) At excessive interest and taking advantage (1:26:59) Of the situation (1:26:59) Especially in this section where God is (1:27:02) Teaching us about the war (1:27:04) It was war time (1:27:06) We have talked about the battle of (1:27:08) Bath last week (1:27:10) And some people because of the economic (1:27:12) Situation could very much take advantage (1:27:14) Of that (1:27:16) And hurt others (1:27:18) And God teaches us (1:27:20) That that is evil (1:27:22) And (1:27:24) The people who commit this (1:27:26) Wicked act, their place (1:27:28) Is in the hellfire and they are (1:27:30) Disbelievers (1:27:32) And definitely this is (1:27:34) Given to us many times from God (1:27:36) And the messenger confirmed it (1:27:39) And we should attain (1:27:41) Certainty about it (1:27:42) And have (1:27:44) So that we can have mercy from God (1:27:51) Do you have any comments?
