26) Quran Study: Surah 67
Quran Study Sura 67 by Gatut, Hamid argues with Rashad - Rashad Khalifa
Speaker 1 (0:00) ...in God, from the rejected devil. (0:03) Bismillahirrahmanirrahim, in the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful. (0:08) In Surah 67, the kingship of Al-Mulk. (0:15) Most exalted is the one in whose hands is all kingship, and he is omnipotent. (0:24) Well, I have to stop here. (0:26) The verse says very clearly that in God is all the kingship. (0:34) So kingship means that he is the sole and the only authority in this whole universe, and he is also omnipotent according to this verse. (0:46) We also learn from the Quran that God grants kingship to whomever he wills, and he grants it to the believers. (0:53) In other words, we know that people who worship God alone and follow God's commandment alone, God promised them that there will be sovereign kings or queens on earth. (1:10) In other words, they have everything that they need. (1:15) Everything that they need will be at their fingertips, without the headache of a celebrity that we know needs bodyguards, protection from FBI, or you cannot go to Burger King to eat if you want, because that's the headache of being a celebrity. (1:34) You have a prison on your own. (1:36) But God's servant, the believers, have all this and can still enjoy this, and they have anything that they want. (1:44) And I think that's the biggest, even the richest person in the world cannot do that, because they will go everywhere and everybody, or some people, or some newsman or reporter, will follow them, Sam Donaldson will follow them and ask them questions and all that. (2:01) So the believers don't have that kind of headache. (2:06) The same goes with the financial problems. (2:12) They don't need ten million dollars, but they have everything that they need. (2:16) They get good transportation, they get anything that they need, good clothing, without worrying that the IRS will get into their pocket or something. (2:29) All the food that they can eat. (2:30) All the food that they can eat, that's right. (2:33) Which is what we have today, Alhamdulillah. (2:37) So God grants kingship to whomever He wills, and according to the Quran, that is the believers. (2:44) First two, the purpose of our life. (2:46) The one who created death and life for the purpose of distinguishing those among you who would do better. (2:54) He is the Almighty, the Forgiving. (2:59) God created the death and life to distinguish the human beings, who are the real believers and who are the wishy-washy ones. (3:10) We all know that the purpose behind creating us here in this life and the whole universe is because billions of years ago, we doubted God's supreme authority. (3:26) In other words, there is one guy who said, well, I can be a god besides God. (3:30) And we, all the human beings, this is before the creation of the heavens and the earth and our stay here, we don't show our firm stand for God. (3:41) In other words, we say, well, this guy who is Satan, he may have a point. (3:48) Let's give him a try, let's test him. (3:50) So we didn't have a firm stand as opposed to the angels, for instance, who said that there is no way that anybody except God can rule the universe. (4:00) So God gave us the second chance to redeem ourselves, and this is because of His mercifulness. (4:08) God doesn't need to prove anything. (4:11) He already knew. (4:13) He knows what's going to happen. (4:15) There is no future for Him because as far as He is concerned, everything is past. (4:18) Everything has taken place. (4:20) Only He knew. (4:22) But we need to affirm to ourselves, in other words, on the Day of Judgment, everybody will see with their own eyes that this is what they do, that they do not really believe or they are a real believer. (4:36) So it is the human beings who need affirmations. (4:40) So there will be no excuses on the Day of Judgment. (4:47) And the fourth says that He is almighty, the forgiving. (4:49) He is forgiving because even though we committed the blasphemy, we committed the crime that makes us here in this life right now, He didn't send us outright to hell, but He gave us a second chance. (5:06) The angel said, of course, at the time when we were created, why did you just send them all to hell? (5:13) God says, I know what you do not know. (5:16) Because God knows that some of the human beings will be redeemed. (5:21) And these are the believers. (5:24) Number three, He created seven universes in layers. (5:29) You do not see any imperfection in the creation by the most gracious. (5:34) Keep looking. (5:35) Do you see any flaw? (5:36) Look again and again, your eyes will come back stumped and conquered. (5:43) We adorned the lowest universe with lamps and guarded its borders with projectiles against the devils. (5:50) We prepared for them a retribution in hell. (5:56) For those who disbelieve in their Lord, the retribution of Jahannam, what a miserable destiny. (6:03) When they get thrown therein, they hear its furor as it fumes. (6:08) Number eight, it almost explodes from rage. (6:12) Whenever a group is thrown therein, its guard would ask them, did you not receive a warner? (6:18) And they would answer, yes, indeed. (6:21) A warner did come to us, but we disbelieved and said, God did not reveal anything. (6:25) You are totally astray. (6:28) They also say, if we heard or understood, we would not be among the dwellers of hell. (6:34) Thus they confess their sins, woe to the dwellers of hell. (6:43) Verse number three, we learn from here that our universe is not the only universe that God created. (6:50) The scientists, the astronomers are still trying to determine the limit of the borders of the universe where we live in. (6:59) And according to God, and this will be proven, inshallah, in the near future, that this universe is only one of the seven universes that God created. (7:27) Our universe we live in, we live in a little dot called the planet Earth, which is located in the solar system. (7:46) We have our own star, which is the sun. (7:48) And our star is one of the hundreds of thousands of stars in our galaxy, which is the Milky Way galaxy. (7:56) And our Milky Way galaxy is one of the billions of galaxies in the universe that they stopped counting because they couldn't get the total number. (8:08) But the universe that we live in, which according to rough calculation is probably about 26 billion light years across, is only the smallest universe. (8:21) That means that it takes 26 billion years for light to travel. (8:27) Millions with a b. (8:29) So that's how awesome is the innermost universe. (8:33) And there are six other universes around the innermost universe. (8:38) And everything is, all the seven universes, according to the Quran, is in God's hand. (8:51) However, the innermost universe is also, according to verse number five, is actually the prison cell for Satan. (9:03) Because he cannot go beyond our universe. (9:07) In surah 72, verse 9, and also in surah 15, verse 18, there's the same reference of the guard of the universe that the jinns and Satan cannot go beyond because they will be pursued by projectiles. (9:28) But nobody can find any flaw in God's creation. (9:39) We just look and lay down at a dark night when the moon is very young and look at the stars. (9:47) I used to do camping a long time ago when I was young. (9:49) And I always lie down and look at the dark night and look at the stars. (9:53) And I never cease to be amazed how all this can become into being. (10:02) Our sun is just one of the dim stars in the universe, in our universe, which is the Milky Way galaxy. (10:10) And there are billions of galaxies like that. (10:13) And yet, we cannot imagine how fast is the universe because until now there is no way that we can even go to our closest neighbor, neighboring star, and not to mention the neighboring galaxy. (10:31) Verse 4 says this perfectly, look again and again, your eyes will come back, stop and conquer. (10:35) At least that's my impression when I look at the stars. (10:41) We also learn from verse 5 that the lowest universe, which is our universe, is adorned with lamps, which is stars. (10:49) We know that lamps is the source of light. (10:52) And we know that our sun is one of the stars. (10:58) So what is implied here is probably that only our universe has stars. (11:03) So we don't know how the outer universes, the second, the third universes look like. (11:18) We also learn from this surah in verse 7, 8 and 9 is how terrible is the condition in hell. (11:28) We know that hell is reserved only for those people who go out of their way to reject or deny God's greatness. (11:41) And therefore, when people go there, people go there on their own volition because despite of all these warnings that God sends through the messengers, through the scriptures and through all the signs that God manifests to the people, they still insist on going there and therefore it's like they already deserve what they get over there. (12:05) But God explains here how terrible is the condition in hell. (12:11) It is like hell has its own personality. (12:14) Hell can be so angry towards the disbelievers because when the disbelievers were sent there group by group, hell can't even talk back to them. (12:23) Suffer, what do you do? (12:27) Can I have more? (12:28) In some other verse in the Quran, hell said, can I have more of these people? (12:32) It's like a very, very savage beast. (12:37) But hell is simply the absence of God. (12:39) In other words, these people cannot stand to become close to God because they did not develop their soul enough in this life. (12:47) And therefore, on the Day of Judgment, they have to run away from God. (12:50) They couldn't stand the presence of God. (12:53) And that absence of God is really actually hell. (12:56) Because in some other verses in the Quran, we learn that hell is also described by darkness, by hopelessness, also fire where people are roasted there and never die. (13:08) So there is no excuse for the disbelievers when they go there because they have been warned here as best allegory as human language can find. (13:20) As a matter of fact, in the first line, we know that disbelievers will accept the blame. (13:33) Yes, indeed, we had a warner, but we disbelieved and said that God did not reveal anything and you are totally straight. (13:39) And this is exactly what the majority of the people will say when one quotes from the scripture, when one is conveying the word of God. (13:48) They say, we don't believe you. (13:50) You are far off. (13:51) You are strange. (13:54) So that's what they say in this life. (13:55) And in the hereafter, they will admit that. (14:00) And they also said in verse 10, if you heard or understood, you would not be among the dwellers of hell. (14:05) Thus, in verse 11, they actually confess the sins. (14:08) I think if there are any questions or comments or anything, we will give it at the forum. (14:38) Any comments? Speaker 3 (14:41) As usual, I have a comment. (14:43) On January 1st, the sun rises at a certain time. (15:13) The sun rises exactly at that time. (15:22) You know exactly when Halley's comet is going to come? (15:34) Halley's comet is an aberration. (15:36) It looks like an aberration. (15:56) We have the moon. (15:57) We see only one side of the moon. (16:04) It is synchronized so precisely that it is off by a fraction of a second. (16:08) We would see the other side of the moon. (16:12) Look at poetry describing the moon. (16:15) There are thousands of years of these words in the Quran. Speaker 1 (16:42) Verse 12. (16:46) As for those who reference their Lord when alone in their privacy, they have attained forgiveness and a great recompense. (16:55) Before we go to that page, I'll just comment here that it's very important that the belief has to be also subjected to the test of whether we are believing because of the crowd or whether we are believing because of our own conviction. (17:11) And the majority of the people, if they say they believe, that is because usually this is the norm in the society. (17:18) In other words, if the norm in the society is that people believe in God, if they don't believe in God, they say openly, I don't believe in God, then they're kind of like sore fingers sticking out. (17:30) So they don't want to be in that position. (17:32) They go along with the crowd even though in their heart they don't really believe. (17:37) And this is why the words when alone in their privacy is very important in my opinion because even when the believer is by himself or by herself, he still observes God. (17:51) And there is no difference whether he or she is in the group or by himself or herself. Speaker 3 (17:57) Fasting is a good example of that. (17:58) Because fasting is a strictly private thing. (18:03) You have to be a believer in God. Speaker 1 (18:15) That reminds me of a story from some sister who said when the husband is not there, they say, well, you can eat, you can drink. (18:26) The husband is not here. (18:28) But people who said that, seriously, they did not realize how deep, it's not just simply something out of skin, it is something that the believer has the conviction in their heart. (18:39) So it's not because of the husband or the wife or the parents or the in-laws that we fast or that we observe God. Speaker 3 (18:47) That's because there is no way. (19:09) The husband is putting money in their anonymous. (19:43) It's not the world for them to put money there. Speaker 1 (20:05) Thirteen, whether you keep your utterances secret or declare them, he is fully aware of the innermost thoughts. (20:14) Should he not know He created, he is the sublime, most cognizant. (20:22) This is sort of a rhetorical question. (20:26) God who created the heavens and the earth and everything in them, of course He knows everything that He created. (20:35) He is fully aware of all the creation that He made. (20:40) In the Quran, there is even a verse that says, not a single leaf falls without Him knowing all that. (20:51) If we know, if we can count, if it is possible to count how many trees are there in the world and if it is possible to count how many leaves in every tree, which is impossible for any human being, but God knows every single leaf that falls. (21:05) That's how far, you cannot imagine how great is God. (21:11) We cannot even hide anything from God. (21:14) The children are usually still very innocent. (21:21) We talk to them about God. (21:24) The best way would be, in my experience, they can lie to you, but we told them that you cannot lie to God. (21:31) You can lie to your parents, you can lie, but God will always know. (21:35) In the end, they are the ones who keep saying this all the time. (21:40) God always knows whether we declare anything or we keep it secret. (21:47) 15. (21:47) He is the one who put the earth at your surface. (21:51) Roam its corners and eat from its proficiency. (21:53) To Him is the final summoning. (21:57) I just read the new translation of the Quran. (22:02) In one of the footnotes, Rashad put the analogy of this earth as a spaceship. (22:14) When NASA launches any spaceship with two or three people on board, they have to calculate exactly how many are going to be there, so how much food, how much oxygen, how much water they need. (22:25) Yet, these people are celebrities. (22:27) These people came back from space for a week or two months or whatever, and they came back as celebrities and everybody knew them. (22:35) They are on the newspaper and everything. (22:37) Yet, God sent us in this spaceship earth, and we are the ones who originally committed sin and blasphemed against God because we were not sure of God's greatness. (22:50) Yet, God gave us this beautiful spaceship earth with all kinds of proficiency, not only just food and drink, but also with views and all kinds of lakes, mountains, coasts, beaches, and all that. (23:06) This is because God is the most gracious. (23:08) He is trying to give us the second chance, and we know from the scripture, from the Quran, that most people will fail to take the second chance. (23:19) Yet, God gives that in advance and see whether we can appreciate that. (23:25) The first fifteen said the earth is put for our service. (23:29) Everything in this earth is actually put for our service. (23:32) The animals, the metals, the minerals, the fuel that we can get. (23:39) Everything that we have in this earth is actually created by God for our service. (23:44) Yet, actually we are sinners in the beginning to start with. (23:51) So, this comparison makes me wonder if a little bit of room in the universe, I mean in the space, where this astronaut can climb through, makes them celebrities, what about us? (24:06) God gives us all this for free, and we actually are not even celebrities. Speaker 3 (24:11) We don't have to wear space suits here. (24:13) Exactly. Speaker 1 (24:25) Number sixteen. (24:26) Have you guaranteed that the one in heaven will not strike the earth and cause it to tumble? (24:31) Have you guaranteed that the one in heaven will not send upon you a violent storm? (24:36) Will you then appreciate the value of my warning? (24:39) Others before them have disbelieved how terrible was my requital. (24:49) We know that the earth is in such an insignificant mode in God's universe, and everything else that is in the universe that God created actually fits the power of God. (25:06) In other words, everything according to God is in God's hands. (25:09) So, when a human being looks at a mountain, it's a huge mountain, and they say there is no way that anybody can move this. (25:17) But God says here that nobody can guarantee that nothing will happen to the earth. (25:25) It's very easy for God, if he wills, to strike the earth, wipe out all the disbelievers, and cause it to tumble. (25:40) Have you guaranteed that the one in heaven will not send upon you a violent storm? (25:43) That's the seventeenth. (25:45) Until now, the weather prediction or weather forecast is still not. (25:51) I met one guy who is finishing his Ph.D. in this atmospheric science in the university, and even he considers that weather forecast is still an art. (26:03) With all the supercomputers that they have, actually, Weather Service is probably one of the biggest agencies that uses supercomputers. (26:08) They still cannot predict whether it's going to be rain today or tomorrow in a localized area. (26:13) Not to mention the global weather pattern. (26:18) It's still a very difficult subject to deal with. (26:21) And nobody can guarantee whether this place will get rain with certainty. (26:29) All we need to do is just watch TV and see the weather forecast and how often they make mistakes. (26:37) So God can very easily send a violent storm if he wants to. (26:41) If he decides that somebody needs to shake it up in this area, God sends a storm there. (26:48) Also, the storm actually will fertilize the soil. (26:53) But all these are warnings, and we should be able to appreciate that. (26:58) And we learn from history, and the best history is actually the Quran. (27:02) Because one of the chapters in the Quran is called history. (27:05) And God says in the Quran that the most important lesson in history, when we study or anybody studies history, is that we know why these things are happening and how to avoid them. (27:17) We know consistently that anybody or any group or any society who opposes God and his messenger eventually will be wiped out and eventually be defeated. (27:28) So we know that this happens to the groups of people that came before us. (27:33) And all are recorded in this word of God that is, not only we know that it's truth, but we have the proof for it, which is the mathematical composition of it. (27:44) 19. (27:45) Have they not seen the birds above them line up in columns and spreading their wings? (27:50) The most gracious is the one who holds them in the air. (27:54) He is seer of all things. (27:58) Here God is talking about the law of aerodynamics. (28:01) We learn from the khutba today, which is actually one of the, for those who missed the khutba today, the video program that will be shown starting tomorrow or next week, everywhere is a very good example of how a 20th century or 21st century human being can appreciate the facts that have been expounded in a book written 1400 years ago. (28:33) All this detail about everything that only 50 to 100 years ago some human beings started to learn has been in the Quran for 1400 years. (28:44) And here we know that, first of all, the birds fly because God designed them to fly using the shape of the wings and the body. (28:55) And this kind of shape and principle a human being starts to learn and then they copy it and they make aeroplanes, they make helicopters with the same principle. (29:03) In other words, how this 100 tons 747, for instance, can take off into the air. (29:10) Simply because the shape of the wing is such that when you move the object there will be less density of the air on top of the wing than below the wing, so the whole thing will be lifted. (29:23) So that's the same design that God has made for the bird's wing. (29:27) This is the principle of aerodynamics that is not considered well known, but yet all this has been around for millions of years. (29:41) Have they not seen the birds above them line up in columns and spread their wings? (29:45) We know that the formation the birds fly, again, this is also a principle from aerodynamics. (29:51) God teaches the birds to fly in a certain pattern because a certain pattern will be the most efficient to reduce the drag. (29:58) We know that the drag is the biggest challenge for anything that moves in the air. (30:04) And this kind of formation is now actually being copied by, for instance, if you see Thunderbirds F-16 from the Air Force, they always fly in a certain pattern because that pattern will reduce the drag that each particular plane will experience. (30:23) Most of us probably know this principle when we drive in the interstate. (30:27) If we drive 70 miles per hour and there's 18 wheelers 70 miles per hour in front of us, we try to follow them because we're basically having a reduced drag by following them and we can conserve more fuel by driving that way. (30:44) So that's also a principle of aerodynamics and it's also mentioned in the Quran here. (30:52) Number 20, where are those soldiers who can help you against the most gracious? (30:57) Indeed, the disbelievers are deceived. (31:00) Who is there to provide for you if you withheld his profession? (31:06) Indeed, there have been many. (31:07) God is here, fully aware. Speaker 3 (31:12) This was a battle in war and the believers were put on the front. (31:17) They went in there and they were fighting as if they were fighting. (31:22) God was doing everything. (31:23) Now read 5722. (31:27) 5722. (31:28) Can I comment on this one? Speaker 2 (31:29) Sure. (31:30) It's very easy to become arrogant. (31:34) This is a symbolic book and it's telling to the triumph to the prize. Speaker 3 (31:44) I agree with you but you don't let me just to... (31:46) You make a statement that contradicts what God said. Speaker 2 (31:48) Didn't you make a statement? Speaker 3 (31:50) You said, God, this is a symbolic book. (31:52) It's not a symbolic book. (31:54) God said this is a perfect book. Speaker 2 (31:56) It's a warning to humans. (31:58) We are very complicated beings. (32:01) And you say, well, if you make that big decision, the rest will be easy. (32:05) It's not. (32:06) So the Bible says what the Quran says. (32:08) It is not. (32:09) So you don't believe God then? (32:10) I do believe God. (32:11) Please don't put that things on me. (32:13) I believe in God. (32:14) Every time I come to God and you say that, then you don't believe. (32:17) You don't believe God. Speaker 3 (32:18) God is saying 65. (32:19) I do believe, sir. Speaker 2 (32:20) I'm telling you, I do believe. (32:22) I'm not lying to you. Speaker 3 (32:22) You believe 65? (32:24) That says if you believe in God, he makes things easy for you? Speaker 2 (32:26) Of course he does. (32:27) I do it. (32:28) I do things easy for me. Speaker 3 (32:29) I do things miserable for me. Speaker 2 (32:31) I have a capability. (32:33) I have a device. Speaker 3 (32:35) I have an asset. (32:36) You made a statement now that things will not go easy for you. Speaker 2 (32:39) Of course I can make things miserable for myself. (32:42) I have an ability. (32:43) You are denying everything from me. (32:46) And I'm telling you, I am able. Speaker 3 (32:48) That's arrogance. Speaker 2 (32:49) No, no, no, no. (32:51) That's ignorance. Speaker 3 (32:51) You cannot do anything to me. Speaker 2 (32:52) I'm not ignorant. (32:54) I'm telling you, I can be. (32:55) See, you are very smart, very intelligent. (32:57) More power to you. (32:59) But don't tell me. (33:00) Well, if you say, if you make that big decision between Satan and God, the rest of it is easy. Speaker 3 (33:06) It's down here. (33:07) That's what God is saying. (33:07) That's what God is saying, not me. (33:09) I'm telling you, the belief is a revolving door. (33:12) Do you believe God or not? (33:12) It's a revolving door. (33:13) Do you believe God or not? (33:14) Yes, I do. (33:15) If you believe God, then you are wrong. (33:17) Because God says, if you make the decision to be with God, things will be easy for you. (33:21) And the rest will follow. (33:22) You know why? (33:23) I can show it to you on the Bible. (33:24) I can show it to you on the Quran. Speaker 2 (33:25) You know why? (33:26) Because the concept is true. (33:28) The concept is true. (33:29) God is almighty. (33:31) As I was telling this gentleman, and this, when you, let's take one enterprise as an example. (33:41) Let's take one enterprise. (33:42) You go to one big company and you are hired. (33:45) Under circumstances, under particular circumstances, you are qualified for that job. (33:51) But if you don't fulfill that expectation, which I put it to you at the first, at the beginning, you are fired. (33:59) You are failed. (34:00) And they very graciously will tell you, go somewhere else. (34:07) This is what we know what is expected from us. (34:11) God is not going to interfere. (34:12) He is not fair. (34:14) He is not going to interfere. (34:15) If I pull a gun on you and say, I'm going to kill you, He is not going to interfere in that. (34:20) If otherwise you pull a gun on me, He is not going to interfere. Speaker 7 (35:43) Back it up. Speaker 2 (35:52) I'm sorry. (35:52) I can't do it. (35:53) I cannot even get close to his knowledge, his Quranic knowledge. (35:57) But I am talking from common sense. Speaker 7 (36:01) That's what I found. (36:03) Just one more minute. (36:48) I can't back it up. Speaker 3 (36:50) The other side of the coin is, if I cannot back it up, and I see something in the Quran, I have to submit to it. (37:05) Once I show you something in the Quran, I expect you to say, this is what God says, I accept it. Speaker 4 (37:38) It's hard, especially, you always think you take responsibility for yourself. (37:50) You are talking about the one big decision. (37:51) I have a problem with that. (37:52) Because I saw one big decision. (37:54) How do you know when you make one big decision, to choose this or that? (37:59) Because lots of times, you say, yes, I believe in God, but a second later you are doing it with God. (38:17) You choose God, you are not just saying, I choose God, everything else is going to follow, because God is going to control. (38:32) You choose God, you are choosing to be righteous. (38:35) It's a system. (38:36) You are creating a covenant with God. (38:38) And all these things that the Quran says for you, is to prove to yourself, that God is controlling it. (38:47) And all these things, these are things for us to prove to ourselves, that we have made the right decision. (38:56) God controls the people. (39:00) He says, so all these things, like studying for example, which is totally irrelevant, well God will provide for us to do certain things. (39:15) He controls all matters. (39:17) And studying and not having to worry, He was saying strictly that, you don't have to worry when an exam comes. (39:29) Not necessarily you don't have to prepare, because God will control that. (39:33) God will prepare you. (39:35) You know, God will make sure that you get something done. (39:39) Like you said, God instills in you the desire to study, so that you are prepared. (39:44) You don't have to worry about it. (39:45) God will provide for you. Speaker 2 (39:50) There is a peace of mind. (39:55) If you are worrisome and in disarray, you cannot achieve much. (39:59) You can go and stay in a library for hours and hours, but your mind is somewhere else, if you cannot achieve it. Speaker 4 (40:09) God allows you. Speaker 2 (40:12) I agree with you, He is almighty, but He is not going to interfere in your life. (40:19) He controls everything. (40:21) The words are the same. Speaker 8 (41:03) I will always skip it. (41:07) I will remember everything else. Speaker 2 (41:30) Consciously then there is some credit. (41:32) No, no, no. Speaker 8 (41:33) No, no. Speaker 3 (41:35) If you do your prayers so many times, does that help those who forget it? (41:39) Absolutely. (41:40) The words you are saying now, it is not even funny. (41:43) God is doing everything. Speaker 5 (42:39) A person can think they believe. (42:41) The Quran says, Have you not seen those who follow you? (42:59) That sequence points out that it is Allah's will, it is God's will, that we work the righteousness, that He guides us to work it. (43:22) A person who truly believes knows what God says in the Quran, that you must be responsible for your own actions, in that sense, and they will take that step. (43:34) So that sequence is very crucial, those who believe. Speaker 9 (44:05) Accepting things as they come along. (44:08) I argue with things. Speaker 3 (44:18) I agree basically with what they say, but I still disagree. Speaker 2 (44:23) God, there are some rapes, there are some child abuse, God is not going to interfere. (44:29) The guy who abuses, the guy who misleads, the guy who represents himself, has to, has to... Speaker 3 (44:38) The rapes, the rapes, and the rapes and all this, are in Satan's world, not in God's world. Speaker 2 (44:43) The last revelation is here, and it says you have to pay the consequences. (44:47) It is here. (44:48) He is not going to come down, or the whatever, the jinn or whatever, he is not going to come and hold my hand, say, hey, not to steal things. (44:58) I am going to steal it, if I decide, if I choose to be a thief, then I have to pay the price. Speaker 3 (45:05) You are making a decision to break God's law, you are making a decision to be in Satan's kingdom. Speaker 2 (45:08) That is exactly what I am saying. Speaker 3 (45:09) I am saying if the speaker is bad, I have to either hire someone to fix it in advance, because I have it up here, I know it is not working, God will send his angels to fix your stomach, or your heart, or your car, or your speakers. Speaker 6 (45:37) What about the invisibles? (46:06) Believers always win. (46:31) No, Hussain, they are mentioned in the Quran several times, invisible soldiers, means soldiers you cannot see. Speaker 3 (46:42) They are right in this room, but you cannot see them. (46:44) How do they fight? (46:45) They are very physical, because they can carry this mask and turn it upside down. (46:49) How physical can you get? (46:50) They have never done it anywhere in the whole universe. (46:53) They didn't do it to us. Speaker 2 (46:54) God shall destroy this, but have they ever done it? Speaker 3 (46:58) Of course. (46:59) Not after the last revelation, because he just said, this is it. (47:04) The angels turned Saddam upside down. Speaker 2 (47:07) Yeah, did I just tell you after the Prophet Muhammad, he said this is it? (47:11) Now you have everything in your hand? (47:14) Before that, people asked the Prophets, we want some proof, like a miracle, and Moses threw his stick and became a whatever, because people were not sophisticated. (47:26) They were not at a higher echelon. (47:29) Now we are. (47:29) We are in an enlightenment era. (47:36) If you're not getting it, I'm sorry, I'm saying this is it. (47:41) No, you're saying, well, if you make that big decision, God will come and turn the TV for me, if I say, well, listen, my legs are broken. (47:49) And this guy says, well, go and get a rabbit. (47:53) I do believe in God, sir. (47:57) But I also believe in my intelligence. Speaker 1 (48:02) See, the Quran says, the Quran says that we have to kill our ego, because that is usually the last idol. (48:08) But that has to do with the price of tea in China. Speaker 2 (48:12) I'm saying that... (48:13) Who are you talking about? (48:14) I said, please believe in yourself. (48:18) God will guide you. Speaker 1 (48:20) No, believe in God, not believe in yourself. (48:21) You believe in God. (48:22) Your ability, God put it in you. (48:27) You supposedly... (48:28) See, Moses was commanded by God to tell his people to kill their ego, because the ego is the last idol. (48:34) We can say we believe in God. (48:36) Millions of people who believe in God will not make it, because they still have something hanging there, the stumbling block. (48:41) And the last stumbling block is the ego. (48:43) We cannot accept the word of God as it says in the Quran. Speaker 2 (48:46) Everything you do consciously will count. (48:48) Good or bad, it will count for you or against you. (48:51) It will credit it in you. (48:57) But if you don't do it unconsciously, there is no credit. (49:01) If I pray, if I'm a good Muslim, because my father told me so, there's no credit for me. (49:07) But if I come to the senses that there is such a religion and tells you this, and I come to the decision and got to the point, then there is some credit at the end of the line. (49:21) Make a decision. (49:21) It's a revolving door. Speaker 4 (49:26) If you misguide those who... (49:29) guide those who... (49:32) You just said it from your own common sense. (49:34) If God guides who He pleases and misguides who He pleases... (49:40) Right. (49:40) Is that correct? (49:42) That's absolutely correct. (49:44) So that... (49:44) Not in daily basis. (49:45) So then you can throw conscious and common sense right out the window. (49:48) In a sense. (49:49) Now, accept the fact that everything in the Quran and everything does make sense. (49:55) That's how God has made it for us. (49:58) The whole fact that we don't believe that God had His only begotten Son and sent Him onto this earth. (50:04) All these things that don't make sense. (50:06) Three people in one. (50:08) And all this other stuff. (50:09) That we just believe in God alone. (50:11) That's all part of common sense. (50:13) The fact that there's no contradictions in the Quran with science. (50:17) That it's a perfect book. (50:18) I mean, this is all part of common sense. (50:20) But when you're talking about one big decision, it's whole bunches of decisions. (50:25) Little decisions. (50:26) Which constitute one big decision. (50:29) Whether you believe in God or not. (50:30) That's what I was talking about in the covenant. (50:32) With your covenant with God. (50:33) Like, when you're talking about praying or not praying. (50:35) That's a decision whether you're choosing God or Satan. (50:38) That's all part of that one big decision. (50:40) So it comes up time and time and time again. (50:42) But that's the only thing that matters. (50:44) Whether you tell your employees, look, here, this has to be done in one month or not. (50:49) And they get kicked out. (50:51) I mean, that doesn't make any difference. (50:53) See, God is fair and just. Speaker 2 (50:54) Because He controls all that. (50:55) If you are fool enough to go on the roof and then fall down, He's not going to do anything. (51:03) If I survive, if I survive, if I survive, if I survive the accident, there is some explanation. (51:11) Physical explanation. Speaker 4 (51:11) Here's another thing about that. (51:13) You shouldn't test, there's no need to test God. (51:17) You shouldn't test, like in the Bible, I don't know if this is in the Quran, but there's a verse where Jesus is on the top of the mountain. (51:26) And the devil says, well, if you're truly a messenger of God, well, then cast yourself down upon these rocks, because it says that His angels will save you. Speaker 3 (51:34) And Jesus says, you shouldn't test that boy or that guy. Speaker 4 (51:38) So, so... Speaker 3 (51:40) Our teacher next week is Douglas. (51:42) Douglas Brown. Speaker 10 (52:09) Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim.
