Sura 1 Miracle, Everything Submits, Kill Your Ego, Messengership, The Scholars

Transcript:

(0:00) Alhamdulillah, we praise God. (0:04) Wa ash'hadu an la ilaha illa Allah wa ah'dahu la sharika lah. (0:08) And I bear witness that there is no other God besides the One God. (0:14) This is a very important khutbah, so I'm going to stall a little bit for the rest of the (0:21) late ones to be here. (0:26) This khutbah is so important that you are definitely a very select group of people who are destined (0:35) to be here at this time. (0:38) But before I say anything, where is Ahmed Barouni? (0:43) You're his wife! (0:48) Okay, good for you. (0:52) Okay, just to stall, I'm going to share with you a deep discovery of the last khutbah. (0:57) Give a chance to the late ones to be here. (1:00) It is an awesome discovery, and it tells us that the contact prayer as God prescribes, (1:08) al-fatiha, surah number one, no more and no less for the contact prayer. (1:14) It confirms what we have been doing for a few years, that is reciting only surah number one. (1:21) The mathematical evidence that God gave us, and He did discover last week, forgive, gave (1:28) us last week, has to do with the physical structure of surah number one, and also the (1:34) literal composition. (1:36) The physical structure, just that some of you may have missed the miracle last time, (1:41) so I'm repeating it. (1:43) The physical structure is that the surah is number one, and it has seven verses. (1:49) One, two, three, four, five, six, and seven. (1:57) This is the physical structure of the surah, and this number is a multiple of 19. (2:03) It is putting the number of the surah and the verses next to each other. (2:07) Now, you know that the morning prayer is two units, the noon is four, the afternoon is four, (2:16) the sunset is three, and the night is four. (2:20) And this number is a multiple of 19, putting the number of units next to each other, isn't it? (2:26) 19 of course is the number that God Himself picked. (2:28) When people tell you why 19, tell them because God said so, in surah 74. (2:35) God said it is the number 19 that will prove that the Quran is not human-made. (2:40) 74.25 says some people will say the Quran is man-made. (2:45) And 74.30 God says 19 will prove to you that it is not man-made. (2:50) And 74.35 says it is one of the greatest miracles. (2:57) So this proves also the sequence of the prayers. (3:00) Morning, noon, afternoon, sunset, night. (3:04) And it is a multiple of 19, and it is universally recognized worldwide, there are no differences. (3:12) Now, the literal composition of the surah is confirmed by the fact that (3:17) instead of the verse number, you put the number of letters. (3:23) So you put the surah number, which is one. (3:29) The first verse, as you know, is 19 letters. (3:35) Bismillah ar-Rahman ar-Rahim. (3:37) The second verse, alhamdulillahi rabbil alameen, is 17 letters. (3:44) You put 17 instead of 2. (3:46) The third verse is 12. (3:55) Bismillah ar-Rahman ar-Raheem, alhamdulillahi rabbil alameen, ar-Rahman ar-Raheem. (4:00) Malik yawm al-deen is 11, right. (4:07) 11 letters. (4:09) Iyaka na'budu wa iyaka na'sta'eem, about the most important expression in the surah, (4:14) you alone we worship, you alone we ask for help, is 19. (4:20) You put 19. (4:23) And hidin al-sirata al-mustaqeem is 18. (4:29) Sirata al-lazeena an'amta alayhim ghayri al-maghdoobi alayhim walad da'aleen is 43 letters. (4:38) And this number also is a multiple of 19. (4:41) So there you have it, physical evidence. (4:49) Just in passing, we just received the Aramco magazine, the Arabian oil company, (4:56) and on the front cover they have the last two verses of surah 9, satanic verses on the cover. (5:01) And inside they have an Fatiha written in the colloquial Arabic, not in the Quranic Arabic. (5:09) Where there are three extra letters. (5:11) So they are trying hard to destroy God's miracle, but it is not working. (5:16) It is too late, the shaykh is out of the bag. (5:19) So I hope you appreciate this miracle now and it is very clear. (5:25) Now that Abdullah is here, it means everyone is here. (5:29) So I am going to start my khutbah now. (5:32) Alhamdulillah wa ashadu an la ilaha illallah wa ahdahu la sharika lah. (5:35) This is a very important khutbah in that God is revealing so much information. (5:40) I am going to repeat the assertion that you are a select group of people, you are destined (5:44) to be here at this time. (5:45) The information that God is sending to us puts us an eternity ahead of anyone else living (5:52) on earth today. (5:53) The subsequent generations will catch up with us, but today, on the planet earth, we are (6:02) an eternity ahead of the rest of the world. (6:06) The picture of why we are here is emerging very clearly now. (6:12) And there is a lot more to be known, but this is the time that God wills to send this information (6:17) to us. (6:18) It is relevant to our generation. (6:22) And what this additional information, you know most of it, but the additional information (6:29) shows how bad the human being is, and how fortunate we in this masjid are. (6:37) These are the two things the subject of this khutbah, how bad the humans are, and how fortunate (6:42) we are. (6:45) It was satan's ego, e-g-o, remember this word, that made him think that he can be a (6:53) god besides God. (6:55) And this triggered a division in the heavenly community. (7:01) Some creatures agreed with satan, and this constituted the heavenly feud that we see (7:06) in surah 38, 19 times 2, verse 69. (7:12) The heavenly feud, or the feud in the heavenly community. (7:17) The vast, vast, vast majority disagreed with satan. (7:21) They stood on the side of God's absolute authority, and those are the angels. (7:28) They never questioned the fact that only God can be a god. (7:32) And their number is unknown to anybody, only God knows. (7:35) Surah 74, verse 31, it says no one knows the number of God's soldiers, the angels, except (7:43) he. (7:44) Even the angels do not know what their population is. (7:48) So don't be tricked by the fact that 150 billion creatures agreed with satan. (7:55) Those are a very, very small minority. (8:00) So now we have a minority, the criminal element in the heavenly society, that is you and me, (8:07) and the jinns, failing to make a stand on God's absolute authority. (8:18) God the most merciful offered this criminal element another opportunity to renounce their (8:24) crime, and to submit to God. (8:31) And the majority of these creatures, the vast, vast, vast majority, took advantage of that (8:38) opportunity, which we see in surah 33, verse 72. (8:43) And those are the animals, the mountains, the stars, the trees. (8:48) You remember in surah 22, verse 18, God says do you not realize that the mountains, the (8:53) trees, the animals prostrate to God and some people? (8:57) Remember that verse? (9:00) In surah 55, verse 6, God says the stars and the trees prostrate, what does this mean? (9:05) It is because they decided, they took advantage of that second opportunity to submit to God. (9:14) The horse is a submitter to God, the horse is one of those creatures that committed that (9:20) initial blasphemy, and took advantage of the second offer. (9:24) The horse is a perfect submitter, he comes to you on four, you know like this? (9:30) Ego, remember ego, the word ego? (9:34) The horse comes to you like this, it says ride me, and the horse will let a poor person (9:40) ride him, or a rich person, a child will lead the horse wherever the child goes. (9:48) The horse is a perfect submitter. (9:52) And this was the deal, that the animals accepted to come here in a subservient, obedient function. (10:00) And in return for this obedience, they were redeemed to God's kingdom in the Hereafter. (10:06) That was the deal. (10:09) The dog wags his tail to the homeless, see the homeless person walking in the street, (10:13) very poor, and he is taking along a dog, and the dog loves him, wags his tail. (10:21) The president of the United States has dogs also, and they were returned to the prison. (10:25) Not because he is a prisoner. (10:27) They didn't even know that they live in the White House. (10:32) They can live in the street with the homeless, or in the White House, and they are submitting (10:36) the wagging their tails. (10:39) When God asked you and me, do you want to go to the world, God told us about the plan. (10:49) You want to participate in this plan as a horse. (10:53) The poor will ride you, the rich will ride you, a child will lead you, and you and I (10:57) said, no way! (11:01) Me, go as a horse, ego, remember? (11:05) This criminal element, it is the ego that brought us here. (11:10) And it is the ego that stands as an obstacle between us and redemption. (11:20) There were so many of the creatures who decided to take advantage of his second offer, that (11:26) they could not all come here as animals, it would be overcrowded. (11:29) So God made them stars, and the stars cross straight, they go into precise orbit. (11:36) The sun rises and sets at exactly the same times. (11:41) Today is September 29, the sun rises 6.16, it is not 6.15 or 6.20, 6.16. (11:50) And next year it is going to rise at 6.16, if you watch the horizon in the east, at 6.16 (11:56) there comes the sun disk, see it coming up, submitting. (12:01) It is going to set at 6.11, not 6.10. (12:08) This is eternal, this is an eternal calendar. (12:11) The moon synchronized around the earth, following exactly the object. (12:16) Had it come, it comes every 76 years. (12:19) They went for it, and sure enough, it will come every 76 years. (12:23) It goes God knows where, but 76 years it comes back to the solar system and we see it. (12:32) We refuse, we are so bad. (12:35) The human being is so bad. (12:37) This explains why all these people are oblivious to God. (12:41) And you can see that their ego is preventing them. (12:47) God says in 3379 that the human being was unjust, stupid, the loom and jugular. (12:56) Ignorant, God called it ignorant, but I am not as polite as the Quran. (13:01) But it really is, this is the most fitting word. (13:05) God told the horse, you go as a horse and you will be redeemed to God's kingdom, he said I take it, I take it. (13:13) And they come here and perform their functions, and they go back. (13:17) Even our bodies are submitting, because the body is part of the earth. (13:24) The earth is submitting to God. (13:26) The body is a garment made of the earth, just like this came out of the oil from the ground. (13:32) A garment. (13:34) And your heart, you cannot control your heart, it is out of your control. (13:38) Your peristalsis, the intestines, moving, they are moving like this. (13:45) You push the food all the way through the stomach until you digest it. (13:49) You do not control that. (13:50) Miles and miles of your intestines are moving right now, in a precise motion. (13:56) The lungs are breathing, you do not control that. (14:00) Because the earth is submitting to God, your body is part of the earth, and you cannot control it. (14:09) But the human being is so bad, if I draw a line of God's creatures in the heavenly community, (14:22) like this, and Satan's ego told him that he can be a god besides God. (14:32) By the way, this minor rebellion proves to us that God's creatures have a freedom of choice. (14:42) This is the usefulness or the purpose of this rebellion. (14:45) People say why did God create rebellious creatures? (14:49) And God takes this into consideration, and this is why millions of people die before the age of 40 and are redeemed. (14:58) Obviously they deserve it, but they participated in this very important function. (15:03) The hardcore enemies of God will end up to hell. (15:07) And I love Ismail Barakat's expression yesterday, when we talk about what we read in the perspective about (15:14) changing the name of Muhammad, even their idol, to five letters, Muhammad. (15:18) Instead of Muhammad. (15:20) Just to oppose the miracle. (15:24) He said they are storming the gates of hell. (15:27) This is what he said. (15:29) Storming. (15:32) God built fences around him, and very strong gates, and they are storming the gates of hell. (15:38) So, when Satan did this, the vast majority of God's creatures agreed, but a small minority. (15:47) Can you see this, back there? (15:51) This is the criminal element in the heavenly community. (15:54) Now, if we expand this here, when God offered the second opportunity for them to submit, (16:08) the vast majority of them submitted, and the real bad ones were just about this much. (16:17) That is you and me, and the humans in the gyms, who refused. (16:24) Because you know how many horses there are in the world, and how many mosquitoes, and (16:29) cockroaches, and bees. (16:35) So the vast majority took advantage of the second one. (16:38) These are the real bad ones. (16:42) Me go down as a horse? (16:43) No. (16:45) You know, this is ego, we thought we were smart enough to make the right decision. (16:50) See, God told us that if you make the right decision, you come back to the high heaven. (16:54) Which is fantastic. (16:56) And this is the second part of my sentence, how fortunate we are. (17:00) This is how bad. (17:02) This is how bad the humans are. (17:08) Toobu ila Allah, repent. (17:20) Alhamdulillah, wa ashadu an la ilaha illa Allah, wa ahdahu liya sharika lah. (17:25) What you just did now, repent, means you said you are sorry for doing this, you made a mistake, (17:30) you want to be redeemed back to God's kingdom, you don't want to be exiled from God. (17:35) We were exiled because of our ego. (17:38) The reason you and I refused to come here as a dog, or a horse, or a mosquito, (17:47) was that we thought that we... (17:49) Oh, it's easy, it's a piece of cake, we will choose God, we will not choose Satan. (18:09) I thought I got interrupted here. (18:13) Yes. (18:14) I want to mention that since it is the ego that is preventing the obstacles between us (18:23) and God's kingdom. (18:27) Kill your ego is one of the first commandments in the Quran, kill your ego. (18:35) 254, surah 2 verse 54, in the first ten pages of the Quran, it says kill your ego. (18:43) And kill means dead, you see how the horse is? (18:47) We are supposed to kill our ego, as far as God is concerned. (18:52) Killing the ego is not that somebody comes slaps you in the face and you turn to have a cheat, no. (18:59) In fact God says the believers are not wimps, they stand up for the right. (19:04) But as far as God is concerned, you must kill your ego. (19:08) Because I am telling you the ego is what is preventing millions of people today from going to heaven. (19:14) And what led some of us to drop out when God willed that I announce my messengership. (19:22) That is the only reason they refuse is the ego. (19:26) Because God gave them so much evidence, and gave them zero evidence against you. (19:33) And we are still waiting for one reason, good or bad. (19:38) And they can't come up with one, there is no reason. (19:41) That says you are not God's messenger, there is no reason. (19:46) But it is the ego. (19:48) And they can't come up and say it. (19:50) You can't say it is because of my ego that I don't want to recognize you as God's messenger. (19:56) And it seems to me now that this is part of the test. (20:00) Not it is part of the test, but I mean it is a difficult test. (20:08) That God puts us through in order to kill our ego, He is one of us who claims to be God's messenger. (20:13) And how are we going to, until God says obey God and obey the messengers in the Quran, (20:17) how are we going to do this? (20:19) It is just like me, it is ego, our ego. (20:22) I actually sympathize with those people. (20:28) It took me eight years to accept that. (20:33) And I don't want to give myself a test, I have enough of my own. (20:37) But I don't want to ask myself if I were in their shoes, what would I do? (20:43) But it is definitely the ego, and God is fair. (20:46) If they flunk, they deserve it. (20:52) It is strictly ego. (20:58) What is the reason? (20:59) What is their reason? (21:01) You know they could have come with a reason saying, God says Muhammad is the last messenger (21:06) in the Quran, and the issue will be over, it will be finished. (21:09) But they don't come up with a reason like that because there is no such thing. (21:13) The Quran says Muhammad was the last prophet, a messenger, a scripture bearing messenger, (21:20) but he was not the last messenger. (21:22) The Quran makes it very clear. (21:26) I don't know, they could have come up with a hundred reasons. (21:31) Huh? (21:31) Sheikah will come for us. (21:35) Yeah, things are growing now. (21:38) This might change the direction of life. (21:39) But I think I said everything I wanted to say anyway. (21:42) There is many more that we will discuss tonight insha'Allah, and in the next months and years (21:45) insha'Allah. (21:46) We will be discussing these. (21:48) And God will send more information. (21:50) But the highlight is that one. (21:51) I wanted to point out this, how bad the human being is, and how fortunate we are. (21:59) They established something called the council on the preservation of the finality of prophethood. (22:06) And this includes the top works of the Muslim world. (22:12) The pope of Sunni Muslims, Sheikh al-Azhar. (22:16) The head, the imam of the Kaaba, the Makkah masjid. (22:21) The head of the Muslim world league. (22:25) And they are holding a conference, an urgent conference, in Chicago. (22:32) October 7th, that is two weeks from now. (22:35) It is called the world conference on the finality of prophethood. (22:43) And they are trying to confuse the people. (22:46) Remember the verse in Quran that says they distort the words out of context? (22:50) They are trying to confuse the people as far as the definition of prophet and messenger are concerned. (22:56) And since I did broke this up, I am going to read the letter to you that I wrote to them. (23:01) The top works. (23:26) This is their flyer. (23:29) And it says the world conference on the finality of prophethood and significance of hadith. (23:34) Just put this on the side. (23:37) And they say the conference will start on Saturday, October 7th. (23:40) There is no insha'allah. (23:41) You will not see the name of God on this sheet. (23:44) There is not a single word God on this sheet. (23:48) There is no Quran on this sheet. (23:50) There is hadith. (23:51) There is a picture of the prophet's mask, which he never saw. (23:56) Right here. (23:57) And it gives you the names of Sheikh al-Azhar, and so on. (24:01) And you know something, we will be represented there, I am going to give them a lot of trouble. (24:06) Herbert Hill, you know him from Chicago, he was here at the conference. (24:10) He is taking his brother, who used to be a Sunni, and he is being saved. (24:15) And maybe some other people, and they will go there and ask some truthful questions. (24:21) Like, what is the difference between prophet and messenger? (24:24) Tell me, where in the Quran does it say that Muhammad is the last messenger? (24:28) Who is the messenger of the covenant, it is in 381, etc, etc. (24:33) We have 19 questions for them. (24:39) I wrote a letter to them, I sent it to each one of the top leaders, and I said to these (24:49) people from Rashad Qarifa regarding world conference on finality of the prophethood. (24:54) Dear brothers, assalamu alaykum. (24:55) No one is questioning the fact that Muhammad was the final prophet, nabi. (24:59) Quran 3340, according to 381, 337, and 334, he was not the last messenger, rasool. (25:07) As Muslims we are required to believe almighty God when he so states in his holy book. (25:12) The Quranic assertions that Muhammad was the final prophet but not the final messenger (25:16) are God's commandments to us through the prophet Muhammad. (25:20) I trust that you stand ready to obey God and his final prophet. (25:24) You will readily agree with me that those who refuse to accept these Quranic truths (25:29) are no longer Muslims. (25:32) Quran 381-385. (25:35) As God's messenger of the covenant, supported by overwhelming physical evidence, it is my (25:40) obligation to invite you to examine these Quranic truths, and examine the evidence (25:45) God has given me to present to you and to the world. (25:49) You are cordially invited to Masjid Tucson at any time you choose, to discuss this matter (25:55) and examine my evidence. (25:57) Thank you and may God bless you with his guidance and infinite mercy. (26:01) Forgive me for saying this, you brother in Islam, there has to be some diplomacy there. (26:08) Atum salam.
